This vet office is quite expensive. This was my dog's only vet clinic for a year and a half, and my parents dogs vet because of following dr.morgantini when she moved from guardian. At first I was totally willing to pay the higher prices but I've since stopped giving in. When I wanted my dog to go for a dental cleaning, they quoted me almost $2000 (I got the quote during an exam I paid for). I chose to shop around and went to another vet for $600. Today I called the office to get a quote for a urine bacterial culture and urinalysis. They refused to give a price quote and said I'd have to come in with my dog for an exam, which is around $90 - all while looking at my dogs file and having access to the 15+ visits we've had there. Yeah no thanks. I'll pass on this shady business practice.

Honestly can't say enough good things about this clinic. I've had pets all my life and lived in various places and so have seen my fair share of vets. This clinic is hands down the best. My cat has been for various small things but my favourite story is this: he had to get some blood work done. While he is actually the friendliest cat in the world (will NEVER bite or scratch) he meows a lot and loudly. The bloodwork was only supposed to take 5 minutes but he was putting up such a fuss that for 20 minutes they just hung out with him, talked to him, gave him some treats until he was relaxed enough to let them take the sample. After it was done I could hear them all cheering and talking about how great he was. I've never felt rushed there. When he goes in for his checkups the doctor just sits on the ground and hangs out with him while talking to me. I really love the place. It is on the pricier side for some things but they're always very upfront about costs and I'm happy to pay for the care my little dude gets there.

When it was time to say goodbye to a beloved member of our family, Dr. Daryl Megar and his vet technician Erin went above and beyond to make one of the hardest days of our lives a little more comfortable.
I mean it when I say that every precaution was taken to ensure that our Rottweiler Romeo was comfortable and free from anxiety or discomfort in his final moments. Daryl and Erin are no stranger to our lovable lug and have treated with him with love and care for almost ten years. It meant a lot to see the genuine emotion on their faces as well as our own – they didn’t want him to go, either.
The procedure was not rushed, and we were all given time to say our goodbyes - even when some of us weren’t as ready as we thought. I feel it’s also important to note that this day would have happened five years ago– as, in his younger years, Romeo had a rare disease that was difficult to detect and treat. However, Dr. Megar figured it out and helped give us five more years with our best friend, and for that, we’re incredibly grateful.
To Daryl and Erin, although I can only speculate, I assume you went into the veterinary discipline because you loved animals and wanted to make a difference in their lives and the lives of those who love them. If that is the case, as far as our family and Romeo are concerned, you have succeeded by every measure. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. To everyone else, you owe it to yourself and your companions to choose Dr. Daryl Megar and his staff of passionate professionals at Whitemud Creek Veterinary Clinic.

Just had the best experience at Whitemud Creek Veterinary Clinic. We saw Dr. Daryl Megar and I wish we would have started seeing him a long time ago. Exactly the type of person you'd hope to have caring for your pet. He was kind and gentle and made every effort to put my dog at ease. The entire experience from booking the appt to leaving exceeded my expectations.
We will be bringing our dog to Dr. Megars daycare, Creekside Pet Boarding and Daycare, and it's very clear to me that my dog will be in the very best care.

As hard as it was, Doctor Meger and Meaghan were comforting and treated our sweet little girl with a whole lot of care. JayCee was only with us for 9 short years but she always received amazing care at the clinic. We are so thankful for everything you have done.

I found out about Whitemud Creek Vet clinic from a family member after I got my first puppy. I'm so thrilled that I did. I will never worry about the health of my dogs again. My American Staffy has an ongoing allergy situation, and regardless of how busy they are, the Vets and Techs at WCVC always seem to make time to see him. He's never looked so good, and we have fewer problems and less occurrences than we did before we found them. I wouldn't trust my dogs with anyone other than the staff at WCVC especially Dr. Meger and Dr. Morgantini. They are competent and incredibly educated. In terms of service, the clinic is more than fairly priced, especially for the service and monitoring that occurs with my pets. Wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! A+++

My cats have been visiting this vet clinic pretty much since I got them. I have never felt so welcome and taken care of in my life. Makes me wish this was my doctor's office! The girls love my cats and always ask about them. I even received emails wondering if they were still fighting and whatnot. When I wanted to get one of my cats shaved, Shawna was more than willing to do it and they all said she was the best girl for the job. I was really nervous because he's very attached to me. Brenda went into the office early that morning so that I could drop my cat off after my night shift at around 7am. How thoughtful!! Dr.Meger will always try to get the best and most affordable care/services for your animal and I really appreciate that. I am so extremely happy with this clinic and always look forward to going in. The prices don't bother me because you get what you pay for! All of my animals will forever go here.

We're regulars there now with all our animals (4 cats and a dog) and we have always had courteous, friendly and professional care.A big thing for us is not feeling rushed when we talk to the vet. And each member of the clinic is patient, calm and helpful; we have never *ever* felt rushed when getting answers to our questions.

Honestly can't say enough good things about this clinic. I've had pets all my life and lived in various places and so have seen my fair share of vets. This clinic is hands down the best. I have been taking my cat to Dr Meger and his team for over 10 years now. They have always been there for us no matter what. The team is professional and caring. I have been able to get in quick whenever I needed to. Costs are always explained up front with choices. An amazing place. Strong recommendation from us!

I found out about Whitemud Creek Vet clinic from a family member after I got my first puppy. I'm so thrilled that I did. I will never worry about the health of my dogs again. My American Staffy has an ongoing allergy situation, and regardless of how busy they are, the Vets and Techs at WCVC always seem to make time to see him. He's never looked so good, and we have fewer problems and less occurrences than we did before we found them. I wouldn't trust my dogs with anyone other than the staff at WCVC especially Dr. Meger and Dr. Morgantini. They are competent and incredibly educated. In terms of service, the clinic is more than fairly priced, especially for the service and monitoring that occurs with my pets. Wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else! A+++

Dr. Shilton was patient, attentive and thorough with my dog, Doogie when he got sick. His staff are friendly and great as well. Love this clinic!

My cats have been visiting this vet clinic pretty much since I got them. I have never felt so welcome and taken care of in my life. Makes me wish this was my doctor's office! The girls love my cats and always ask about them. I even received emails wondering if they were still fighting and whatnot. When I wanted to get one of my cats shaved, Shawna was more than willing to do it and they all said she was the best girl for the job. I was really nervous because he's very attached to me. Brenda went into the office early that morning so that I could drop my cat off after my night shift at around 7am. How thoughtful!! Dr.Meger will always try to get the best and most affordable care/services for your animal and I really appreciate that. I am so extremely happy with this clinic and always look forward to going in. The prices don't bother me because you get what you pay for! All of my animals will forever go here.

We're regulars there now with all our animals (4 cats and a dog) and we have always had courteous, friendly and professional care.A big thing for us is not feeling rushed when we talk to the vet. And each member of the clinic is patient, calm and helpful; we have never *ever* felt rushed when getting answers to our questions.

They aren't always on time, and sometimes they do bill twice (when they say it would be no charge when booking) but it's worth it to know that my dog is in good health!!!! If you book there ask to be booked with Suzanne - she has an overall welcoming demeanour with people and pets!
