Our most recent visit was of an emergent nature, and although we rushed in with no appointment (but fear written all over our faces), we were not told we had to go elsewhere. A year ago I was looking to adopt a kitten. I was told that they had some kittens that had come in that were abandoned in a shoe box, and they helped arrange with the people that found them to adopt my little cat. They have taken excellent care of him when he goes in for his vaccines, and they even did his neuter and microchipping so that he was as comfortable as possible. I will continue to bring him to this clinic as the staff are welcoming and they obviously love and care for the animals! (and it helps that my cat loves them too!) Read Less

Con artist. Never believe their quotes! Most dishonest pricing I've ever experienced in my 34 years of owning dogs. Btw onoway isn't too far of a drive and way better service. Not to mention way lower prices for the exact same if not better services. Read Less

Amazing clinic! Really thorough, empathetic, friendly and knowledgeable staff. They had seen my cat throughout his life and would catch everything quickly and were able to treat him accordingly. This clinic is very clean and organized. I simply couldn't recommend any other clinic. if you want your pet to have a happy healthy life then i would suggest you have the amazing staff take them in as their patient. They even see exotics! I am very saddened and confused to see so many negative reviews for Westside. I can guarantee that the issue lies with those clients, and not the clinic. I have been coming here for around 5 years when I first needed to find a vet willing to see reptiles, when my leopard gecko was very ill. I started bringing my cat as well because I was so impressed with the thorough and caring service that myself and my animals received. My cat got diagnosed with diabetes soon after, and it turned into a very hard struggle. I was on the phone with Dr. Danesik and the receptionist Jen every other day to figure out what the next step was to take with him. I never felt like I was being a burden to them. Despite everything, we had to let him go two months after the diagnosis. I wouldn't have had those two extra months with him if it wasn't for their hard work and empathy. I now bring my dog and my boyfriend's cat here, and would never think about going anywhere else. If you are having doubts, call the clinic and all your worries will be put aside by whoever answers. Dr. Karen has helped my Ellie Mae through a few really tough situations (torn knee ligaments and most recently cancer) and always gives consistant and thoughtful care for regular check ups also. I am thankful we have this great clinic in our little neighborhood. Read Less

Hi I must say I couldn't imagine taking my cat Wrinkles anywhere else, she is treated gently and loved by all the staff there, Jen always goes the extra mile for her applying her nails, cleaning her ears to clipping her nails never any issues with anything there in over 10 years plus that speaks volumes!!Read Less

I cannot say enough about how amazing everyone is at this vet clinic. The Office manager Jen and staff went over and above after my french bulldog, Mica passed away from a motor vehicle. They made sure to comfort me and reassure me that my furry friend had not suffered. They kept Mica for me until I was ready to make a decision about cremation. The staff kept her collar, a paw print and even wrote me a card with their heart felt sympathy for my loss. This all kept safe for me until I was prepared to come back to the clinic, no pressure, just comfort and a true love for animals and their owners. I cannot thank everyone here enough. Very helpful staff who have a genuine care for all animals I have brought in. Great exotic vet (and assistants familiar with exotics) who has gone above and beyond for my small animal companion guinea pigs. I always get the impression that they all sincerely enjoy their jobs and have a lot of lot of compassion in times of worry. They have listened to all my concerns, explained solutions thoroughly and given me the appropriate medications to help my fur-babies. I would highly recommend this vet. Read Less

All of the staff here are extremely caring and have always taken very good care of my animals. They always call to check up on my cats after they have had their annual vaccinations, or any type of medical procedure done. Jen is very friendly and I always enjoy hearing stories about her animals while I am paying my bill, or waiting to pick up my cats. I am guilty of calling to check up on one of my cats when she had dental work done, and Jen put my mind at ease by letting me know that everything had gone well and Luna was back to her normally loving self again. I have been coming to this vet since at least 2010 if not longer and I can't imagine going anywhere else now. Every experience I have had with Westside has been a positive one. The doctors and staff here are incredible and love my pets almost as much as I do. They go out of their way to go above and beyond what is required of them and are always willing to answer questions and share information. They also see snakes and birds and lizards!! Read Less

I've been taking my cat Marmie to Westside for 11 years and I'm glad she has such a great doctor to go see. Normally Marmie is not very receptive to people she doesn't know but for some reason she never gets weird at the vet.Read Less

The staff are wonderful and very caring. Dr Danesik is very caring and good at explaining the options to help your pet as well as help you plan for preventative care for your pet to help it live as long as possible with the best quality of life possible.
