I am so thankful to have found Dr Hee. I have taken all of my pets here for about 6 years and no matter where I am living at the time I always make the trip out to Fort Saskatchewan. He is very gentle and my animals have always felt comfortable in his care. I once had to leave my dog overnight and I was actually able to sleep as I knew she was in great hands. Not only that, but to my surprise I wasn't broke after I picked her up! His office does not look like a hotel like some other places, so I know those costs are not coming out of my pocket. I never have to worry about the bill when I go there. I had driven to Westlock in the past to save a couple thousand dollars so I'm happy to have a local vet who genuinely cares about my best friends and its not just a money grab like every other vet I have been to. Vets know they can pull on our heart strings and rack up the expense because we will pay it. I am so incredibly grateful to have such a dependable vet to count on! Read Less

Dont take your cats here. Honestly appalled at their treatment of their customers when they kill your pet. Having a yearly notice for a check up appojntment from them after they have sent my beloved friend/pet to heavan because of their screw up! seriously someone needs to manage this place better. horrible service and has no concern on the well being of other animals. He basically told me just wait until the virus is gone on my dog. Didn't even suggest any other option to make it better or prevent it. Wouldn't recommend this vet clinic. I would not bring my dog back here even as a last resort. There is a multitude of things that made my experience here utterly horrid - but one of the things that most that stressed me out and made me most uncomfortable was the fact that they suggested I leave my dog overnight for 2-3 nights for observation yet after I left I called back and found out that they do not have overnight staffing. I would be paying to stress my dog out even more and lock him up alone in a dark strange office all night. Why would I do that when I can monitor him myself without the added stress on both of us. We brought our dog to the clinic for a teeth cleaning, which would require he go under anesthetic. Prior to picking up our dog who seemed in good health, we came home and noticed him coughing blood. We rushed him back to the hospital but he died in the car. I fail to believe this wasn't the clinic operating on him poorly or overdosing him that caused his ridiculous death at a stable healthy age. I've been taking my cats and dogs to Dr. Hee for many years. He shows true compassions for all my animals. His ability to diagnose problems without excessive amounts of lab tests and x-rays is also a factor in why I chose him. He's a great vet. Prices are also low making it worth the trip from Edmonton to Ft. Saskatchewan every year for shots with cats who hate car rides. Read Less
