Greeting , I was taken my 3 cats to another vet they were good but of course the distance is far plus they charge almost 2 and half time than here for the same service . the only thing different is the other vet email us a head of time for our cat next visit and for deworming when and what , I would like to see this clinic do the same to send reminder dates for our pets for deworming , annual check up etc ; we are very happy with the service . Dropped my Kitty off there today for them to have a look at a small open wound he had on the underside of his tail...He keeps licking at it and making it bleed...I was shocked when I went back and picked him up when they told me the total cost was $187.90... They charged me $89.50 for a complete Exam which he had his physical, all his shots up to date and deworming done back in February. Then $40 to shave a bit of hair off his tail and saline the wound (that’s a bit pricey). ...$42.00 for the meds which I was totally aware of and ok with. And lastly the cone @ $7.45 for him to wear for the next week or so, so he doesn’t lick it... Like how do families afford to give their animals the best medical care when your charged such absurds amounts for something so minor...Thank god it wasn’t anything major I can only imagine what the cost would have been then. I think they are way over priced and I will not be taking any of my animals back there again nor will I ever recommend this Vet Clinic to anyone. See More Read Less

My daughter witnessed a bunny being hit by a car but it was not dead. It dragged itself to the side of the road. She couldn't leave it and we couldn't watch it suffer. My dog had diarrhea. My wife made an appointment. I called the vet to question that appointment because I had no stool sample available. The lady said that 'a little bit' will do. So I mentioned that the mess was already cleaned up. The only sample I had was on the paper towels. She said, "that will do". So I swabbed whatever I could get. Only to find out at the clinic that the sample was no good. Yet they charged for a smear test. Then they told me that it was inconclusive because of such a bad sample. Then they persuaded me to try all these drugs on my dog. My dog threw up the first batch. I called the next day. This caulky douche bag said, "why did your dog vomit?" I wanted to tell her that maybe my dog could write out his own symptoms on a piece of paper. Then I asked if I could return the medication that was hermetically sealed. Then she said, "yes I can return it". Then she called me later to tell me that I can't return it. And she said I could run another stool sample. Otherwise according to her words, "we're blind right now". She's blind alright. $250.00 later. Read Less

I was much happier with Elizabeth Street Pet Hospital when it was smaller, and the techs and Dr Marco knew our names and our pet's names, on site. It was much more personal. I'm frustrated now that they seem to have a rotating door of vets coming through, so each time I book in I see someone different who doesn't know the history of my pets. It's definitely not as personal, nor is it like your friendly, neighbourhood business anymore.Read Less

Great vets and Great staffI have been following Marco around from clinic to clinic for about 10 years, Even though I live in far NE Calgary, I will continue to travel to okotoks for my cats health needs.  I highly recommend anyone goes to see him with their animals...he is knowledgeable on all new techniques and though all vet fees are steep he does his best to not charge out the backside.  Thank Marco and Co! I also am concerned about you so called care factor. I was in the week before with my dog that became very sick an HOUR before closing. Your staff just sat there and told me the vet left early and they were only there to sell PET FOOD if someone wanted it. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN YOU PLACE AGAIN. Read Less
