Best vet I've been to in YEARS!! They gave my dog a room with a window (and air!) that helped to keep her stress down (very important for a vet fearful dog!). All of the staff were respectful and knowledgeable and Dr. Lisa even examined my dog on the floor (rather than the scary high table). The staff and Dr were best people to my little man Chuck Bunny and of course to his parents as well they are awesome friends everything nice and kind in every way even when I was a wuss, never left Chuck alone since he was 4 weeks old. Everyone there showed me that he was safe and they loved him, not because Chuck is a ladies bunny :) but because everyone there has the biggest heart any animal could ever see there. Out of all the vet clinics I have ever taken my animals too, this is the best one. The vets and vet techs genuinely care about the animals they treat. Such compassionate people at this clinic. They were so kind and caring when I had to make the tough decision to put one of my dogs down this past June. Very supportive. I also just recently had a wonderful experience with my chihuahua who was just neutered there and had a teeth cleaning done. The difference in his teeth are like night and day. I am super pleased. I have been using Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital for many years now, theses girls Doctors are the best. They have always been so good and kind with all my dogs, would I go any where else hell no. They are fantastic! I had to take a kitten to Lomsnes a few weeks ago as he had a bowel obstruction and possibly needed surgery. the staff were very friendly and kind, and definitely helped make a stressful situation a little better! Dr Hanson was awesome, she really made sure we went over all the options in my kitten's care before making any decisions, and definitely had our best interests at heart. Such awful customer service... I've never felt so disrespected. Considering my roommate and I were so devastated because they told us to euthanize 2 of our 4 kittens (*Who are doing so much better now just after 1 night*) you'd think they'd have a little compassion but no they were gossiping about us when they thought we were still in the exam room and they were glaring at us when we were at the front waiting for an etransfer to come through all because they had to wait 15 minutes after closing. To top it all off literally the second we walked out the door they were visibally gossiping about us again. I took my kitten to get spayed at Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital and they were awesome. Of course, the only person whom I had dealt with was the lady at the front desk and she was fantastic, friendly. She also made sure I had all the information I needed to be able to take care of Oprah after her surgery. I volunteered with Lomsnes for about 2 years while I was in high school, this team solidified the reason of me wanting to pursue veterinary Medicine! The staff was always extremely welcoming, accepting and FANTASTIC mentors. Besides my work experience with them, I have been bringing my Great Dane, Vogue, to the clinic since the day I got her. She's now 7.5 years old now and I attribute most her amazing health to the Lomsnes team & Dr. Lisa! I love taking my dog to Lomsnes Vet Hospital. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Lisa's bedside manner is excellent which makes my fearful, shy boy much more relaxed. I always get great service and advice, with my dogs well-being and health always of the highest priority. I recently had to put my old dog and fur child of 14 years down, I called lomsnes vet clinic to help me with the hardest decision I've ever had to make. And I was so pleased with how caring and gentle they were. They came right to my home, made it so he could go right on his bed. The ladies were so wonderful. They even cradled and carried my 125lbs dog in their arms as they carried him out to the vehicle. You could feel the passion they had for their work. And everyone at the clinic was so understanding and caring. I've recently received a card in the mail with kind words from everyone there. And a beautiful pin of an angel dog from them. The crew of Lomsnes Veterinary Clinic is the absolutely best fur baby care I have ever come across. All my babies have been seen by all the veterinarians and we're all extremely professional, knowledgeable, loving and go above and beyond for them. When they learned that my pit bull Gunner was very frightened by medium/large sized dogs, they made sure that the clinic's dogs were placed in the back before we arrived so Gunner would have an anxiety free visit. The first 4 weeks of having Gunner we spent a good bit of time with the these wonderful ladies due to terrible tummy issues, but they never gave up hope that they would find a proper treatment and we did!! They never rushed through an appt. or even a phone call of my questions or concerns and have never been billed for any of their extra time I was taking up. I've been taking my now 2 year old boxer bentley to lomsnes vet since day one i knew they are over priced but i was ok with that thinking that I was paying for quality. Everything went good for about a year then bentley kept getting sick first she said it was his food so we switched to the food that they sell. He got sick again now lisa lomsnes says she did blood work and it looks like pancreatis so she wanted to keep him overnight on a iv then we take him home the next day this happens 4 times and poor bentley lost 20 pounds you could see every bone in his body and we didn't know what to do he wasn't responding to any meds and lisa still says it's pancreatis we had to go somewhere else after doing tons of research we chose fish creek in Calgary we take him there explain the last vet in red deer said he had pancreatis the vet says ok I've never heard of pancreatis in one year old boxer but ill tske a look and immediatly takes bentley back and starts doing tests on him none of which show pancreatis she takes an x-ray,  the x-ray shows a forgein body and not only that the forgein body has been stuck in about 6 different spots in his intestines and just punctured a hole in his insteines and fluid is leaking into his stomach. I get a call from the fish creek vet saying they need to do surgery now i say yes please do. They do and they saved our boys life. Meanwhile my girlfriend is in university writting an exam that morning she gets a call from lisa lomsnes in red deer saying it looks like sepsis and we need to think about saying our goodbyes and putting him down. Now I have a hysterical girlfriend crying on the phone saying we need to put our dog down and I need to explain he had a forgein body and is safe in recovery after surgery. Turns out fish creek called lomsnes to get bentleys information and she took it in her own hands to call my girlfriend and get her nose in our business. When she didn't even know what was going on in the first place. Shes very unprofessional we won't be taking out business there anymore and I recommend you don't either. Read Less
