I was referred to dr.barrett by another good vet in strathmore.i was a bit hesitant as blue had a couple of bad vets in neepawa but I read her history and assumed she was the one for us so we went to see her.she is a great vet and has great staff I was very impressed.my dog does not like his nails cut or to be brushed and he will be 9 this year.he was haveing a lot of trouble just getting up.dr.barrett did blood work and exrays and determined blue had arthritis.she layed out a plan for blue to loose weight and told me what shots he needed.they shaved all his matted hair and trimmed his nails and gave him his shots.it is a difference of night and day on my dog.i can not thank you and your staff enough your all amazing thank you from blue and me we will be back.most amazing clinic and grounds if your looking for a vet you will not be dissapointed here

Anyway, I take my dog to Dr. Barrett for behaviour training and she has been working with us on my very reactive anxious dog. This place, the vets, and all the staff are wonderful! Our corgi had serious blood clotting complications from neuter surgery and he was so looked after - emergency surgery, overnight checks every hour, regular touch-bases with us, lots of love and care, plus compassionate flexibility on the bill due to our financial situation. I looked around for a long time for a vet I could trust in Calgary. I eventually found Dr. Beth in Dalemead. It is worth it for me to make the drive from central Calgary. I find that not only is her bedside manner great her expertise in surgery is invaluable. I take all three of my dogs to her.
