Dr. Khehra & his staff are worth the commute from out of town. My dog can be a hesitant with new people, yet he loves coming to see Dr. Khehra. I was stunned when dog felt calm & comfortable during his first appointment. It's been the same quality experience every time. The consistency is appreciated. I have been a customer with Heritage Hills Clinic since it opened.  My dog Barney was diagnosed with diabetes about 4 years ago and needed injections twice daily along with monthly bloodwork.  He received exceptional care from all the staff and we were totally confident in all their decisions.  Barney sadly passed very suddenly two weeks ago and they organized his cremation and returned his ashes with  a most amazing heartfelt card that meant so much to all the family. I cannot praise them enough and will continue to take our two cats there whenever needed.  Yes Carla is amazing and was always greeted with a very waggy tail from Barney. Thank you everyone. The staff and the vet are exceptional. Been going there for 8 years now and never had an issue. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is I'm not rich and vet bills are pricey. If it's not too late I'd look into pet health care. Our Annika had surgery and now still suffers from ligament problem due to her size. Surgery went perfect but she reinjured it and will always have this issue. They are keeping a close eye on her and extremely helpful and compassionate. Read Less

Dr. Khehra provides excellent veterinary service and Carla is most definitely one of the best out there as far as assistants goes. Always, compassionate, always accommodating and always happy to see me and my pet. I’ve been taking our dog to see Dr. Khehra for a few years and he’s provided our lab with utmost care, including a surgery that had to be performed. Unfortunately, we recently had to put down our beloved Labrador Retriever. It was one of the hardest and worst decisions we’ve ever had to make. We were very overwhelmed with emotion and grief. Dr Khehra and Carla were so extremely compassionate and allowed us to stay with our pet until we were ready to say our final goodbye. Although it’ll be a very long time before I get another pet and if I ever do, I wouldn’t hesitate to take it to the Heritage Hills Veterinary Clinic. Read Less

Took our dog who was vomiting and not eating in on Saturday.They prescribed medication and gave us soft food for her.Did an xray and exam and sent us off.She died a painful death on Monday morning after suffering all Sunday night.Terrible Read Less

I appreciate all of their advice and recommendations for pet care and products. They also call to follow up after appointments to make sure everything is okay or if you have any further questions or concerns. Dr Rupy and Carla are amazing, they have gone above and beyond for our puppy and cat over the years. They have got us in last minute, stayed open late, call to check up on them after appointments, and are so amazing with them when we bring them in. They remember who you are, and your pets. My usual vet was closed because it was Christmas Eve at 230pm... Heritage hill vet clinic was suppose to close at 3pm but amazingly still agreed to let me bring my dog in who was not in good shape. They continued to treat him well after they were suppose to be closed, spending extra time away from their families and all of their Christmas plans and never once made me feel as though I was a burden. The staff at this vet clinic genuinely care about the animals! Even more amazing is that even after all of this stress on their Christmas Eve I still ended up having a bill over 200$ less than the last time my dog had a similar episode. Plus, they sent me home with a warm towel (no charge) in case he kept dripping urine and to keep him from shivering once outside in the cold. Unbelievable clinic! Took my dog here this afternoon after she woke up with a cloudy, white eye. I was scared and upset at the suddenness and seriousness of the situation, and our usual clinic didn't have an appointment open until Friday. But the whole experience with Heritage Hills from making the appointment to leaving the clinic was smooth and reassuring.The lady at reception, Carla, was friendly and compassionate - you could tell she was an animal lover herself and understood my feelings. She had a very welcoming personality that made you feel at-ease. She managed to book us in for that same day, just a few hours later at a time that worked for me.When we arrived, they had no trouble getting her records from our usual vet, and they got her weighed and us in an exam room in no time. Dr. Khehra was very professional and soft-spoken with a friendly smile for his canine patient and myself. He quickly figured out the issue, did some tests, and prescribed a treatment. Costs of treatments and procedures were well described to me before anything was done, and were fairly reasonable, even with the numerous medications and tests my dog needed.I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone in Sherwood Park. I have been going to this clinic for about the last six years. With my recent dog he has been going since he was a puppy and they are fantastic here, they are caring and patient and try to really take the customers and animals feelings and situations into consideration. The vet always remembers each pet and has not lost site of doing his job for the greater good of the animals. They are easy to get booked into and cost wise they are no more then any other vet services. Pets are expensive if things happen. My dog had a bad accident and I couldn't have asked for better care, guidance and follow ups during that time.My dog means the world to my fiance and myself and I wouldn't trust him with anyone else!!!!
