I brought my 5 mo old puppy to see Dr Kim Robinson when he had stopped eating suddenly and I was a panicky mess my regular vet didn't open until a bit later I was able to get in almost immediately (I called first and their staff working the phone was phenomenal she managed to handle my panicked self wonderfully) the clinic was quiet and we barely had any wait. Dr. Robinson was great with my puppy and while the problem turned out to be just a pretty upset stomach I have no regrets with my decision to bring him in. I will happily visit here again when I am unable to get into my regular vet.

There is no effort made to form a connection. I would rather spend more, and feel like my vet is genuinely invested in my pets care.

Never will i trust Uncas with my beloved pets again !! The most horrible experience i've had with any vet !! It's normal for people to make mistakes but what's not normal is to run and hide from accountability.
Hopefully no other pet ''suffers unnecessarily'' the way my pet did and no other pet owner is mislead into thinking that their pet is in competent hands.
In my opinion they're in it just for the money and could care less about anything else !
I also believe some or maybe all of the positive reviews were wrote by uncas in attempts to bury the true negative reviews and build a ''Phoney image''

The reply written below sounds real sweet but is actually the complete opposite on how it was handled.
In my opinion they're not sorry for anything including their gross incompetence.
Two faced and condescending does not even begin to describe the owner of Uncas in my opinion !

Was super happy with my 1st visit. It is such a relief to go to a place that doesn't alienate you by your breed (large) or by its standards (cropped ears). They definitely won me over by inviting us to bring him out there to say hi whenever we want to help socialize him. There are not enough places that let you do that, let alone actively promote it so it was very nice to see. You can tell that they genuinely loved our dog and cared for animals well being in general. Looking forward to the next visit!

At a time when I needed veterinary care the most, the Uncas Veterinary Clinic exceeded my expectations. After four days at the emergency vet under 24 hour treatment, my cat was in need of a life-savin...
At a time when I needed veterinary care the most, the Uncas Veterinary Clinic exceeded my expectations. After four days at the emergency vet under 24 hour treatment, my cat was in need of a life-saving surgery. This surgery, I was told, was the only alternative to euthanasia. The cost for this surgery at the emergency vet was $3,500. After having already spent $2,600 on the four days of treatment, there was unfortunately no way I could afford the cost of surgery on top of that. I was left desperately searching for another Veterinary clinic that would perform the surgery for a price I could afford. After many phone calls, to many clinics, the Uncas Veterinary Clinic was the only one able to perform the surgery (for $2000 less!) and willing to fit me in. I could not have asked for a experience here at this clinic. Not only are the prices reasonable, the staff were very friendly, welcoming, and eager to help in any way they could. Everyone I dealt with was extremely caring and compassionate towards both me and my cat, Bentley. This is not my regular veterinary clinic, but it quite possibly will be from now on. I live a fair distance away from Uncas, however, quality care like this is absolutely worth the extra commute. For anyone who may be undecided, I would highly recommend this clinic to you. Thanks to the staff at this clinic, my Bentley has been given a second chance at life. *Fingers crossed* one of my animals do not end up in an emergency situation like this again, but if they do, there is no one I would trust more than the staff at this clinic.

Love love love this clinic! I took my Great Dane puppy here to get her ears cropped back in October and they were nothing but wonderful and kind to me and her. With a worried mama bear like me I called about two times throughout the surgery to see how it was going and how my aurora was doing and they were very reassuring and didn't mind me blowing up their phone haha even after the surgery when Aurora was going through her healing and posting process I was emailing pictures and called many times with questions and were very helpful. This is a great clinic, they truly care about their clients.

She wouldn't give it to me, long story short my dog got even sicker and she still wouldn't prescribe the meds and now I have to go to another vet and pay another $300 out of pocket!!

The vet hit my dog in the face a few times. I'm sure it's a cultural thing - people used to routinely hit dogs and many still do when trying to teach them something. The people aren't necessarily completely evil. The dog was yelping and squirming, not growling or trying to bite. I feel bad that I just kept holding my dog, since I never have hit her and never intend to. While noting that the vet seemed to feel a kind of rough & ready concern for the dog's physical well being, I'm still kind of horrified by the incident.

First Experience (about 4 months ago):I came here for the first time since we moved out of the city to get my kitten neutered. What a fantastic experience! The staff treated him like they would their own pet and reassured me if I was worried about him that I could call at anytime to check up on him. When I arrived after his surgery they brought him out in his blanket that I brought for him all cuddled up, kissing his head along the way :) It was such a great feeling to know they truly loved and cared about him (almost :) ) as much as I do! Second Experience: I found some lumps in my kittens hip and they found an appointment right away for me so they could take a look. Dr.Denise was wonderful! She didn't suggest some crazy biopsy, blood work etc that would cost me a million! She simply looked into his history of the last time he was here, and came to the conclusion that he had his rabies shot, etc in that exact area and he may have had a mild reaction to it. However if it did not go away after a month, then to bring him back and we would go from there. :) Great service again!

I brought my 5 mo old puppy to see Dr Kim Robinson when he had stopped eating suddenly and I was a panicky mess my regular vet didn't open until a bit later I was able to get in almost immediately (I called first and their staff working the phone was phenomenal she managed to handle my panicked self wonderfully) the clinic was quiet and we barely had any wait. Dr. Robinson was great with my puppy and while the problem turned out to be just a pretty upset stomach I have no regrets with my decision to bring him in. I will happily visit here again when I am unable to get into my regular vet.

There are not enough places that let you do that, let alone actively promote it so it was very nice to see. You can tell that they genuinely loved our dog and cared for animals well being in general. Love love love this clinic! I took my Great Dane puppy here to get her ears cropped back in October and they were nothing but wonderful and kind to me and her. With a worried mama bear like me I called about two times throughout the surgery to see how it was going and how my aurora was doing and they were very reassuring and didn't mind me blowing up their phone haha even after the surgery when Aurora was going through her healing and posting process I was emailing pictures and called many times with questions and were very helpful. This is a great clinic, they truly care about their clients.

Doesn't even deserve one star!! My dog has had skin issues for 6 yrs and every time every vet has prescribed an antibiotic, not this vet! She wouldn't give it to me, long story short my dog got even sicker and she still wouldn't prescribe the meds and now I have to go to another vet and pay another $300 out of pocket!!

The vet hit my dog in the face a few times. I'm sure it's a cultural thing - people used to routinely hit dogs and many still do when trying to teach them something. The people aren't necessarily completely evil. The dog was yelping and squirming, not growling or trying to bite. I feel bad that I just kept holding my dog, since I never have hit her and never intend to. While noting that the vet seemed to feel a kind of rough & ready concern for the dog's physical well being, I'm still kind of horrified by the incident.

First Experience (about 4 months ago):I came here for the first time since we moved out of the city to get my kitten neutered. What a fantastic experience! The staff treated him like they would their own pet and reassured me if I was worried about him that I could call at anytime to check up on him. When I arrived after his surgery they brought him out in his blanket that I brought for him all cuddled up, kissing his head along the way :) It was such a great feeling to know they truly loved and cared about him (almost :) ) as much as I do! Second Experience: I found some lumps in my kittens hip and they found an appointment right away for me so they could take a look. Dr.Denise was wonderful! She didn't suggest some crazy biopsy, blood work etc that would cost me a million! She simply looked into his history of the last time he was here, and came to the conclusion that he had his rabies shot, etc in that exact area and he may have had a mild reaction to it. However if it did not go away after a month, then to bring him back and we would go from there. :) Great service again!
