Horrible vet , first my sons chihuahua was severely sick we rushed him in and they said he has parvo , they treated us like dirt and said to my son , that dog is pretty much dead and tried to convince him to just put him down. We thought it was a very unprofessional response , so we ran him to Viking vet and they gave us some special food and treated us so nice, they said if we want to try to save him feed him this food and watch over him closely give him fluids etc . We took him home and he beat the parvo easily with following Viking vets advice . Vegreville vet wouldn’t help at all and were extremely ignorant and wrong ! Read Less

The vet here was awesome. Our cat had his eye clawed open by a neighbor cat and needed after hours, serious care. He came in, helped our cat out, had to bring in an anesthesiologists so they could try to save the eyeball and sewed him all up. He charged next to nothing for all of this and followed up with us closely afterwards. A really great person and vet! Highly recommended! Read Less

Moved to Vegreville 5 years ago with a beagle with a chronic health condition. Came from Saskatoon where we took him to the Western Collage of Veterinary Medicine so were used to a high level of care. We found Josh and his staff to be every bit as good as the University staff and he takes a genuine interest in the animals under his care, even willing to come in to help replace some torn stitches in the middle of the night when a clinic in Edmonton said just wait till morning. Also an excellent diagnostician who was able to spot a back problem at an early stage (sent us to a specialist in Edmonton who confirmed the diagnosis - good and careful). We've since moved into Edmonton, but still make the hour drive out to Veg for check-ups just for the quality of care. Read Less
