I took my cat to the Animal Wellness Centre in Morinville because my cat had a large wound on his leg from a different cat. The vet there told me that they either had to amputate the leg or put him down. I was devastated and decided to take him to Westlock Veterinary Centre to get another opinion. Dr. Tannis Jackson told me that there would be no need to amputate or put him down. After many long months he is finally back to normal. Tannis is an amazing, dedicated, hard working veterinarian. Can't say enough good about this clinic. They have undercharged me for every crisis I threw at them and were absolutely amazing to deal with every time even when I was freaking out. I give this Vet Center 5/5 starts for the following reasons1. They have dedicated professionals supporting you with any questions you may have about your pet. Dr. T.Jackson operated my boys' two rear ACL's and she was in constant community with us the entire time. She was very easy and pleasant to talk to. 2. Their prices reflect their service not "the extras" that you are told elsewhere...we paid less than half the price for this operation, it's been 6 months and they are still checking in on my boy to see how his recovery is doing. For that, I give them One million stars!!!3. Overall, they are a great facility and I will continue to use them when needed or refer them to friends. I have dealt with a few vets in the clinic as well as front line staff. Everyone is extremely helpful, caring and very professional. We have had to call in after hours when my dog had parvo. As a first time dog owner (and a new resident of Alberta) finding a great vet clinic was so important to me. Westlock vet clinic was mentioned to me (among others) and we decided to check them out. I am SO glad we did! My little rescue pup was in rough shape when we adopted him, both mentally and physically. The staff at Westlock took their time with him, bonded with him, and treated him as if he were their own dog! We have chosen to have westlock as our primary vet even though they are just over an hour away and we have closer options. The treatment we have received here has been truly above and beyond what vet clinics have to do! In the year that I've had my dog I've had to make a few trips to the vet (some normal visits, some emergency visits) and I've walked away happy every time! I have a potbelly pig named chubs that lives in my house. Westlock Vet does everything from trim his hooves to remove a tumor!! And it all got done at a very very reasonably price. They treat me and chubs as family and that is the most important thing to me. They are quick to get back to you, and will always have the answer to any question. They are kind and patient with chubs who is not always kind and patient. I have nothing bad to say about them! By far my go to Vet! Worth the 45 min commute to save hundreds of dollars!!! Read Less

I have been going to Westlock vet centre since January 2009 I have always had amazing care for my Schnauzer pups! Recently one of my babies became ill and Dr. Patty went above and beyond my Pepper is getting better but the care she gave to us was fabulous I have always been a supporter of this vet clinic and I always recommend people with pets to take the drive it is beautiful, only 45 minutes and the care and attention your pets will receive is second to none!!
