We appreciated the fact this place was available. We did not know what was going on with our Jack Russell who was wobbly and sick and all sorts of weird symptoms. We rushed her over and immediately you can tell they prey on your level of emotional attachment to your pet. Before the "vet" even looked at her they had done up a "quote" of over $1,000 with items on there almost pointless. What else can you do. We paid and left her and came back in the am. She was still the same. Some various theories of poisoning or stroke. Meanwhile we did simple google on symptoms and vestibular disorder seemed likely. Nothing of this was said at all and we simply left. Our regular vet was open and we got her there and the diagnosis was done in minutes. While an awful issue for the poor dog, it should pass and we got appropriate medicine, guidance and assurance as always to support in this. OK, so we can handle paying the $1,000 as she is worth anything. And we do respect and appreciate their being there. But the entire process just seemed dubious as to competent animal care versus really taking advantage of the situation. I think any pet owner should do some advance planning of where to go in an emergency and have the place you take them vetted by other vets or pet owners. This is almost shameful from a standard of earnest quality professional care, but I imagine is a profitable business as that is the priority in what they are about. Do not recommend this to anyone. We took our Pomeranian in to the 24 hour vet whom was choking on a bull stick he was chewing on. It was lodged in his throat. The vet examined his throat and said nothing was there. He did not push us and say we should do X-rays to see so we agreed as he was the professional. He prescribed mediication for Kennel Cough and charged us $200 and sent us home. The next day at 1130am after laboured breathing the whole night for just under 24 hrs our Pom collapsed in the kitchen and died. We took him to our regular vet and she examined Maxim and we could both see it lodged in his throat. This shouldn't of happened. We wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone else given our first experience with them during a emergency situation. Read Less

I had to bring my Great Dane in because he seemed to be bloated and was trying to vomit several times. The staff there was really caring and performed xrays and blood work right away as the doctor said my dog had a bloat. After having xrays and blood work results withing 20 minutes they rushed him into surgery and said his stomach had twisted. I felt my dog was in really good hands as he had to stay there for monitoring after surgery and the staff encouraged us to call at any time. This vet was an absolute money grab-total disgrace. I took my kitten there because she was spayed 5 days ago and seemed to have a bit of an infection. The doctor and assistants put on the WORST act and tried to play on my heart strings. I am disgusted!!!!!!! Having some clinic knowledge they tried to scare me about how sick my cat was and tried to put my 5 month old kitten through another major surgery in one week. They made statements of "how bad her situation was" and made me feel like I made a choice to kill her by not spending $1200 to open her up again. Total joke!!!!! I asked for antibiotics and took her to my vet the next day. They gave her another stinger dose of antibiotics and said she would be fine. She needed one more stitch. There were 2 clinical staff working. One girl acted like she knew everything and her "training staff" couldn't even take my cats temperature. Her temperature was fine after they rectaly stuck the thermometer 4 times in her and couldn't figure it out. Then said her temperature was fine. Then the vet came out and made all they noises saying how sick she was. The staff were intimidated by him. They kept telling me how bad an infection she had and kept pushing hard on her stomach to push fluid out. She was screaming in pain and I knew right away that this was a chop shop. Even as I paid my $246 for nothing they continued to say how serious a condition she was in as I was walking out. DISGUSTED!!!!!! She is doing so good today......my Icy. I can not imagine anyone having a good experience st this clinic, at least not with the 'Dr' we saw. Rushed our dog here in the middle of the night because he collapsed and couldn't walk.. the Dr, an older east-Indian gentleman, (sorry can't remember his name) barely looked him over before shrugging and saying it was 'old-age', I was in tears but luckily my father was there and pressed the vet to examine him closer.. he did a blood sample and said it was 'arthristis' (got that from a blood sample?) On top of all of this, he was so quiet we could barely hear him and kept asking him to repeat himself..and he had a weird smile on his face the entire time..he was quite odd! Needless to say we took our dog to our vet the next morning and had proper X-rays and such done.. and there was fluid build-up in his heart along with many other complications. Our vet was flabbergasted when he heard what this previous vet had done/said (or not done). And turns out he has heard similar stories about the same vet. If you go here.. please do NOT book an appointment with the older East Indian 'dr' (this is absolutely not a race issue, it was just the best way to describe him) He should be ashamed of himself. I had a terrible experience at this clinic! I had to deal with this fat lady named Helga... her stomach hung down past her knees. When I came into the clinic with my dog she was sitting at the counter crying, she kept texting and it made me feel like my dog and my situation was unimportant... she was watching Netflix on the computer. What fantastic care!!! I brought in my 4 year old black lab to this vet after she had been puking for all evening. The staff helped me bring my dog inside because at this point she was just so tired from being sick. They had the doctor come in the room right away and explained everything to me and my husband. They went over different opinions and what the the best plan was. She had to stay over night and I called in the middle of the night to see how she was doing. The staff that answered was also so helpful and gave me real peace of mind. We came and picked her up in the morning and they gave us the medications we needed to take home and went over everything in detail! Would recommend anyone to take there pets here! Read Less

It was a nightmare! After describing my cat's symptoms and med history (my cat is diabetic) I was asked to pay a $700 down payment and sent home with instructions to pick him up at 7:00 a.m., at which time the vet informed me that they had done blood tests and X-rays and didn't find anything specific. They had given him insulin. My cat was totally unresponsive and covered in some sticky substance. I paid the $400 remainder of my bill and rushed my cat into his FVAH as soon as it was open. My cat was in a deep diabetic coma and flatlining. Of course. My vet knew immediately that my cat's original symptoms were indicative of dangerously low blood glucose levels. The emergency hospital nearly killed him by first giving him insulin and, to make matters worse, they tried to force corn syrup down his throat when he was totally unresponsive and unable to swallow instead of giving him IV glucose. UNBELIEVABLE INCOMPETENCE!!!!!!! I paid over $1,100 to have my cat nearly murdered. IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL, GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!!!!! Read Less
