I stumbled upon this clinic reading the bad reviews on the current clinic I was at with my animals. The review mentioned the same concerns I had with the current clinic and then recommended Clayburn as a compassionate and thorough alternative.
That review could not have been more true. Clayburn was fantastic from the first email I sent. The reply I got back was from Dr. Katz herself. She was kind and empathetic and very informative. My mind was blown that the vet was who replied to my email at 9 pm!! Talk about dedication to their furry patients!
I came in for a second opinion. I met with Dr. Rocie and she too, was phenomenal. I was blown away by how thorough the exam was. The other clinic did a very quick exam and spent very little time asking us about what's happening with our cat.
I was even offered a chance to watch my cat undergo his ultrasound and urine culture collection. They pride themselves in being an open door clinic! Dr. Rocie even took the time to show me bacteria that the was collected in the sample under the microscope! What an immersive and incredible experience.
If you want to know why your vet appointment costs a fair bit of coin, I invite you to find a clinic like Clayburn that will allow you a birds eye view to your animals treatment and you will understand how much actually goes into these procedures. It was truly a remarkable experience and I am so thankful I found this vet clinic.
The front desk staff, every one of the vet tech's and the vets themselves were welcoming, caring, informative and kind. A life long farm girl, and I have never experienced a clinic like this in my life. These people genuinly do their jobs for the love of animals and I am thankful people like this still exhist!!
Thank you Clayburn for helping fix my furry bestie. You will be our go to from here on out!

This pet hospital is amazing! The staff are caring and very detailed when explaining everything! I had very few questions after the vet had explained everything to me. My dog needed a surgery and I was able to hang out till she was asleep and be there with her when she woke up! My dog was comfortable the entire time and had no difficulty walking in to the vet. It looks and feels like a home on the outside. If anyone needs or is in search of a great pet hospital this is the one I would recommend! I have no issue trusting them with the care of my dogs! Present and future this is where my family will be going!

No other vet will do for any animal I own now and in the future. Dr Katz is very compassionate, knowledgeable and up to date on new therapies and treatments. She explains procedures, treatments and potential outcomes clearly and honestly.
Sometimes the appointments run behind if an emergency comes in, but its totally worth the wait - if it was my pet having the emergency I would be so relieved to be receiving that care!

True love of animals - you know by the service she provides and the time she takes at each and every appointment checking them over. I have had my dogs there for all kinds of issues and each time I leave knowing that any other vet would have charged me for every single test and xray in order to line their pockets. Dr Katz is the BEST!

I met Katz last night in a emergency situation with my seriously ill 15 year old dog. She was very professional and explained everything in detail. She did everything she could to save my dogs life not only did she open up her clinic on a Sunday but she stayed until 9pm giving my dog the fluids she needed. She was very through in explaining everything she was putting in the IV and how it would help. I am forever greateful to Katz for what she did.

The vet was nice, and all but she didn't ask me permission to give my dog treats she just assumed she could, and she ran a few tests and did injections with out telling me she was going to , and I ended up paying for all of it. Which is understandable I would have to pay for tests and injections, but I would like to know costs and the reasons why she decided to do that. Another thing I didn't like was my appointment was at 5:30 and I didn't get in until 7 it was a very long waiting time by the end of appointment it was close to 9. I just had a bad experience with her; it could have been just me, but I won't go back.

My boyfriends mom recommended Katz when my dog had some intestinal problems. I had never been impressed with my previous vet experiences. She went above and beyond for Sadie, she was gentle and understanding. What really sold me was that she tried to get all the facts and deduce WHY she was sick; she didn't just write a prescription and give her a bunch of shots. When it comes to vet bills it's usually an arm and a leg but I was happily surprised when all was said and done. Thank you Katz for being the relief us pet owners / family members needed!

I took my dog in today after a suspected seizure and the staff were so wonderful and thorough. I never though my large and usually anxious Weimaraner would tolerate x-rays in awkward positions with no sedation but it was a joy to see him so calm with the vet and tech who soothed him and were never frustrated. I appreciated being able to be with my dog through treatment. The Veterinarian took the time to explain, calm MW down and let me know exactly what to watch for in the future. I am always so glad I make the trip from Chilliwack to Abbotsford to go to what is BY FAR the best clinic in the Valley!

I contacted a few supposedly emergency pet hospitals only to be told they couldn't help me. I needed a vet to come to my home due to an incident with my dog that put her head/mouth where it shouldn't go.I contacted Clayburn Pet Hospital not expecting to be helped based on previous two calls. I explained to reception my problem and Dr. Katz dropped everything and came directly to my home ready to sedate my pet to care for Molly who was in distress due to pain.Dr Katz within minutes had helped Molly out of her situation and was getting a nice calming massage. Shortly after Molly was ready to play.I would highly recommend this hospital & Dr Katz

I stumbled upon this clinic reading the bad reviews on the current clinic I was at with my animals. The review mentioned the same concerns I had with the current clinic and then recommended Clayburn as a compassionate and thorough alternative.
That review could not have been more true. Clayburn was fantastic from the first email I sent. The reply I got back was from Dr. Katz herself. She was kind and empathetic and very informative. This pet hospital is amazing! The staff are caring and very detailed when explaining everything! I had very few questions after the vet had explained everything to me. My dog needed a surgery and I was able to hang out till she was asleep and be there with her when she woke up! My dog was comfortable the entire time and had no difficulty walking in to the vet. The vet was nice, and all but she didn't ask me permission to give my dog treats she just assumed she could, and she ran a few tests and did injections with out telling me she was going to , and I ended up paying for all of it. Which is understandable I would have to pay for tests and injections, but I would like to know costs and the reasons why she decided to do that. My boyfriends mom recommended Katz when my dog had some intestinal problems. I had never been impressed with my previous vet experiences. She went above and beyond for Sadie, she was gentle and understanding. I took my dog in today after a suspected seizure and the staff were so wonderful and thorough. I never though my large and usually anxious Weimaraner would tolerate x-rays in awkward positions with no sedation but it was a joy to see him so calm with the vet and tech who soothed him and were never frustrated. I appreciated being able to be with my dog through treatment. The Veterinarian took the time to explain, calm MW down and let me know exactly what to watch for in the future. I am always so glad I make the trip from Chilliwack to Abbotsford to go to what is BY FAR the best clinic in the Valley!
