I have 2 little chihuahua's Lucy and Bree. My little Lucy had a fall and she hurt herself and was limping badly. Her personal vet was not available so we saw another. Dr. D. Jefferies and his assistant were both amazing and so careful with Lucy as she was hurt and very nervous. I was so pleased as I watched them complete their services and treatment on Lucy. Very professional, kind and caring and they fully explained everything to me as well. After treatment I am very relieved to say that my little Lucy was doing much better the next day and should be back to normal very shortly.
Coastal Rivers Pet Hospital has been where I have taken my 2 pets for 6 years now and I have never been disappointed. They truly do care about your pets and I believe it doesn't matter who treats your pet as everyone gives the same great care. I feel very confident in recommending them to treat our precious pets to anyone asking.

Thoughtful and genuine, this clinic truly cares about your pets. They’re also a fear-free clinic, which means they know and are trained in how to safely and appropriately work with pets showings signs of fear. I have only had to bring one of my cats here so far, but the dogs will certainly be having their next checks at this clinic as well. Dr. Lawrence is also a cat whisperer! He took such good care of my cat during a pretty intense emergency situation last year.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Borgmann for years now. She recognized what my former vet didn't: My geriatric cat needed to have most of her teeth removed immediately b/c she was in excruciating pain all the time. Dr. B re-jigged her surgical schedule for the next day to accommodate my Sweetie.
When we ended up getting adopted by a little black orphaned kitten 5 years ago, I wouldn't think of taking that kitten anywhere else. She treated his case of ringworm with her special "spa treatments", and little Peter is very health and feisty today b/c of Dr. B.
When it comes to humanely saying good-bye, Dr. B is also extremely compassionate and caring. And when she was not available, Dr. Lawrence did kind and gentle job letting our Sweetie cross the Rainbow Bridge.
I am very thankful for all the care my pets have received, and continue to receive through Coastal Rivers. Yes, they cost more than a budget vet. However, the services available, and the skill and training of the staff, are second to none in this part of the Valley. For my furry family members, I wouldn't trust anyone else with their care.

We've been with Coastal Rivers for many years now and would frankly never consider taking our pets anywhere else. Dr. Taylor and the staff go above and beyond and truly understand that pets are family, whether a guinea pig, a cat or a dog. They are experts at addressing ongoing and complicated pet health issues and make every trip to their office comfortable for our furry family members.
Recently, our very elderly and sick cat had to be put to sleep and Dr. Greenberg and the staff that day were very empathetic, kind and considerate. They helped us make the most humane decision based on a balance of medical evidence and compassion. Although it was a difficult day and decision, Dr. Greenberg's kindness and care made it easier and I truly feel he treated our beloved Sophie with dignity and respect.
On a practical level, their office is beautiful and wisely laid out, we appreciate the care rooms for difficult trips that are not like an examination room and their extended hours of operation and selection of specialty products are fantastic.
We love Coastal Rivers!

I have been going to Elizabeth Borgmann for many years with our dogs.
I highly recommend this special Vet Hospital. I also recommend Dr Eric Lawrence as he, a few months ago, had to do eye surgery on our rescue dog who had a problem with her eye and it had to be removed. He did a great job and saved me money by not having to get it done at the Specialist in New West. Love this new location and the wonderful hours.
Thank you to all the staff that have helped us over the years! :)

Saw Dr. Borgmann for my cat. Dr. then MISDIAGNOSED my cat with serious heart disease! It's her job to provide accurate checkups and diagnosis; and I paid for an exam. She was very quick to push for all kinds of tests that all cost a lot of money. This Dr. needs to listen to clients who do know about their animals. I only went there for an emergency and I have another vet that I go to all the time. I do not recommend this vet at all; however the staff at desk and assistants are great and deserve high marks. I went to my current Vet and did another exam; absolutely NO HEART DISEASE!!! Sure would be nice to get my examination fee reimbursed by Dr. Borgmann since she doesn't know what she's talking about!!

We adopted a shelter cat and brought her in for a quick checkup and she seemed fine.
A few days later she started drooling, got lethargic and stopped eating almost entirely. We brought her in again, they waved all examination fees. We had to come back a number of times as our cat slowly improved.
Every time we went the staff genuinely cared about our pets well being as well as our own. Our vet, Dr. Lawrence, was clear about what his thought process was for treatment and lead us through exactly what that would be.
Our new cat has improved substantially in health and we'll be using them for our vet services for sure.

I've been a client of this vet clinic for about 11 years, ever since Dr. Borgmann opened her other clinic in Abbotsford, and now Coastal Rivers. All my experiences with clinic staff and doctors have been outstanding and wonderful. The staff are efficient, kind, and very gentle with my companion animals, from the scared cats to the nervous dogs. I would not consider another practice, my feelings run deep for these people. In particular, one of my cats was very ill and needed to be put to sleep, and Dr. Borgmann was so kind to him, and to me, that I will never forget. I now take two dogs and two cats to this clinic, and will take our latest rescue there tomorrow. I know the care will be excellent. I cannot recommend them more highly. They are simply wonderful!

Recently we had an emergency appointment with our 10 year old GSD. The staff were immediately attentive, professional and compassionate and made space for us. Unfortunately it transpired that our girl had to be put to sleep. The attending Vet was equally compassionate. If we ever decide to get another dog I will definitely use this hospital as my go to Vet.

We had to make the difficult decision to have our pet make that final journey. This was our first introduction to this hospital and the staff. We were very impressed with the compassion and kindness that every staff member showed us from the moment we entered the reception area, through the medical assessment, and onto the final time when we had to let our family member go. 5 stars, nothing less than!

The service at Coastal Rivers was amazing! Our elderly cat became very ill and we were not satisfied with our previous vet that we had used in the past. We decided to try Coastal Rivers because I had heard great things about them. When I phoned they managed to fit me in right away and when we got there the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They treated our pet like one of their own and the cost was very reasonable! They were quick to get the test results and the doctor was the one who called me rather than having a receptionist phone. This was great because she was able to explain what was wrong and and the best treatment plan. I will never take my pets to any other doctor. I HIGHLY recommend Coastal Rivers Pet Hospital :)

The facility is state of the art and welcoming with separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, which is helpful for my scaredy-cat. The staff are very gentle and friendly with our cat and dog. Plenty of treats in the waiting areas and exam rooms to distract :) We recently had to euthanize our beloved dog due to old age and loss of faculties. We were treated with so much care and attention by all staff. Their ability to get us through the ordeal without contributing any additional stress was remarkable. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Borgmann and staff. These are people that understand both pet and pet parent needs. Highly recommend.

It's a very clean environment, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They even take ferrets! So glad I took my animals here.

I was so impressed with this clinic, their care and compassion was obvious from the moment we walked in the door! We had a dam is whelp, and felt she needed intervention part way through, initially we met Dr. Borgmann, she was so calming and reassuring, then she passed us on to Dr. Taylor who was wonderful, to assess if a C-section was needed, he was very reasonable in approach, trying oxy before C-section, two were whelped by that and x-rays has shown there were still two more, and we needed a C-section . At each encounter with the staff, we were treated with compassion not often found in the big business world of vet care. Susan was our RVT and the efficiency that she displayed all while being kind was reassuring! When it came time for the bill we were expecting the worse, yet it was reasonable for all the tests, and treatment provided. We will drive from Surrey to revisit this clinic as the needs present themselves!! Top notch staff, top notch care!!!

I have 2 little chihuahua's Lucy and Bree. My little Lucy had a fall and she hurt herself and was limping badly. Her personal vet was not available so we saw another. Dr. D. Jefferies and his assistant were both amazing and so careful with Lucy as she was hurt and very nervous. I was so pleased as I watched them complete their services and treatment on Lucy. Very professional, kind and caring and they fully explained everything to me as well. After treatment I am very relieved to say that my little Lucy was doing much better the next day and should be back to normal very shortly.
Coastal Rivers Pet Hospital has been where I have taken my 2 pets for 6 years now and I have never been disappointed. They truly do care about your pets and I believe it doesn't matter who treats your pet as everyone gives the same great care. I feel very confident in recommending them to treat our precious pets to anyone asking.

Thoughtful and genuine, this clinic truly cares about your pets. They’re also a fear-free clinic, which means they know and are trained in how to safely and appropriately work with pets showings signs of fear. I have only had to bring one of my cats here so far, but the dogs will certainly be having their next checks at this clinic as well. Dr. Lawrence is also a cat whisperer! He took such good care of my cat during a pretty intense emergency situation last year.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Borgmann for years now. She recognized what my former vet didn't: My geriatric cat needed to have most of her teeth removed immediately b/c she was in excruciating pain all the time. Dr. B re-jigged her surgical schedule for the next day to accommodate my Sweetie.
When we ended up getting adopted by a little black orphaned kitten 5 years ago, I wouldn't think of taking that kitten anywhere else. She treated his case of ringworm with her special "spa treatments", and little Peter is very health and feisty today b/c of Dr. B.
When it comes to humanely saying good-bye, Dr. B is also extremely compassionate and caring. And when she was not available, Dr. Lawrence did kind and gentle job letting our Sweetie cross the Rainbow Bridge.
I am very thankful for all the care my pets have received, and continue to receive through Coastal Rivers. Yes, they cost more than a budget vet. However, the services available, and the skill and training of the staff, are second to none in this part of the Valley. For my furry family members, I wouldn't trust anyone else with their care.

We've been with Coastal Rivers for many years now and would frankly never consider taking our pets anywhere else. Dr. Taylor and the staff go above and beyond and truly understand that pets are family, whether a guinea pig, a cat or a dog. They are experts at addressing ongoing and complicated pet health issues and make every trip to their office comfortable for our furry family members.
Recently, our very elderly and sick cat had to be put to sleep and Dr. Greenberg and the staff that day were very empathetic, kind and considerate. They helped us make the most humane decision based on a balance of medical evidence and compassion. Although it was a difficult day and decision, Dr. Greenberg's kindness and care made it easier and I truly feel he treated our beloved Sophie with dignity and respect.
On a practical level, their office is beautiful and wisely laid out, we appreciate the care rooms for difficult trips that are not like an examination room and their extended hours of operation and selection of specialty products are fantastic.
We love Coastal Rivers!

I have been going to Elizabeth Borgmann for many years with our dogs.
I highly recommend this special Vet Hospital. I also recommend Dr Eric Lawrence as he, a few months ago, had to do eye surgery on our rescue dog who had a problem with her eye and it had to be removed. He did a great job and saved me money by not having to get it done at the Specialist in New West. Love this new location and the wonderful hours.
Thank you to all the staff that have helped us over the years! :)

Saw Dr. Borgmann for my cat. Dr. then MISDIAGNOSED my cat with serious heart disease! It's her job to provide accurate checkups and diagnosis; and I paid for an exam. She was very quick to push for all kinds of tests that all cost a lot of money. This Dr. needs to listen to clients who do know about their animals. I only went there for an emergency and I have another vet that I go to all the time. I do not recommend this vet at all; however the staff at desk and assistants are great and deserve high marks. I went to my current Vet and did another exam; absolutely NO HEART DISEASE!!! Sure would be nice to get my examination fee reimbursed by Dr. Borgmann since she doesn't know what she's talking about!!

We adopted a shelter cat and brought her in for a quick checkup and she seemed fine.
A few days later she started drooling, got lethargic and stopped eating almost entirely. We brought her in again, they waved all examination fees. We had to come back a number of times as our cat slowly improved.
Every time we went the staff genuinely cared about our pets well being as well as our own. Our vet, Dr. Lawrence, was clear about what his thought process was for treatment and lead us through exactly what that would be.
Our new cat has improved substantially in health and we'll be using them for our vet services for sure.

I've been a client of this vet clinic for about 11 years, ever since Dr. Borgmann opened her other clinic in Abbotsford, and now Coastal Rivers. All my experiences with clinic staff and doctors have been outstanding and wonderful. The staff are efficient, kind, and very gentle with my companion animals, from the scared cats to the nervous dogs. I would not consider another practice, my feelings run deep for these people. In particular, one of my cats was very ill and needed to be put to sleep, and Dr. Borgmann was so kind to him, and to me, that I will never forget. I now take two dogs and two cats to this clinic, and will take our latest rescue there tomorrow. I know the care will be excellent. I cannot recommend them more highly. They are simply wonderful!

Recently we had an emergency appointment with our 10 year old GSD. The staff were immediately attentive, professional and compassionate and made space for us. Unfortunately it transpired that our girl had to be put to sleep. The attending Vet was equally compassionate. If we ever decide to get another dog I will definitely use this hospital as my go to Vet.

We had to make the difficult decision to have our pet make that final journey. This was our first introduction to this hospital and the staff. We were very impressed with the compassion and kindness that every staff member showed us from the moment we entered the reception area, through the medical assessment, and onto the final time when we had to let our family member go. 5 stars, nothing less than!

The service at Coastal Rivers was amazing! Our elderly cat became very ill and we were not satisfied with our previous vet that we had used in the past. We decided to try Coastal Rivers because I had heard great things about them. When I phoned they managed to fit me in right away and when we got there the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They treated our pet like one of their own and the cost was very reasonable! They were quick to get the test results and the doctor was the one who called me rather than having a receptionist phone. This was great because she was able to explain what was wrong and and the best treatment plan. I will never take my pets to any other doctor. I HIGHLY recommend Coastal Rivers Pet Hospital :)

The facility is state of the art and welcoming with separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, which is helpful for my scaredy-cat. The staff are very gentle and friendly with our cat and dog. Plenty of treats in the waiting areas and exam rooms to distract :) We recently had to euthanize our beloved dog due to old age and loss of faculties. We were treated with so much care and attention by all staff. Their ability to get us through the ordeal without contributing any additional stress was remarkable. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Borgmann and staff. These are people that understand both pet and pet parent needs. Highly recommend.

She was personable, and I was really happy with the care they take with the animals, when you first walk in and until you walk out the door. It's a very clean environment, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They even take ferrets! So glad I took my animals here.

I was so impressed with this clinic, their care and compassion was obvious from the moment we walked in the door! We had a dam is whelp, and felt she needed intervention part way through, initially we met Dr. Borgmann, she was so calming and reassuring, then she passed us on to Dr. Taylor who was wonderful, to assess if a C-section was needed, he was very reasonable in approach, trying oxy before C-section, two were whelped by that and x-rays has shown there were still two more, and we needed a C-section . At each encounter with the staff, we were treated with compassion not often found in the big business world of vet care. Susan was our RVT and the efficiency that she displayed all while being kind was reassuring! When it came time for the bill we were expecting the worse, yet it was reasonable for all the tests, and treatment provided. We will drive from Surrey to revisit this clinic as the needs present themselves!! Top notch staff, top notch care!!!
