Amazing vet. My girlfriend took her do here for 16 years. When it was time for Gracie to pass away due to illness, Ellwood provided us with the most supportive and compassionate service imaginable. Straight answers, not just out to make money off of our dog's illness or our grief, dedicated room for families when the tough decision needs to be made. When my dog hurt his leg I was going to alpha animal hospital. After spending over $2000 in surgery and pills he was still in pain they didn't know what they were doing at all. I decided to go to Elwood Animal hospital and the doctor seemed to know exactly what to do. They are very Knowledgeable and my dog get well in no time. I can not say enough good things about this clinic. My dog Wyatt has been coming here forever and has been helped by both Dr Snopek and Dr Engle. No matter which Dr you get you can be confident knowing your pet is in great, knowledgable, caring hands. The vet techs are all just as caring and helpful as well. This clinic has very reasonable prices and they truly do try and help to give you the most price conscious options. Not only that but the vets really take their time to explain everything to you which is an enormous help when you're going through some very serious medical issues with your pet. After leaving our appointment last night we felt such a weight lifted off of us thanks to Dr Snopek's information and reassurances. We honestly can't thank you all enough! We had the most amazing experience at Ellwood Park Animal Hospital. Ray is the kindest, most experienced, compassionate vet I have ever met. I had trouble finding a vet I trusted once we moved to Abbotsford. After reading hundreds of reviews and calling a few offices, I chose Ellwood Park--and I am so happy I did. He treated my family in an unexpected way. My 11 year old daughter left wanting to become a veterinarian. My family was displaced by the Fort McMurray wildfire last week. Kip, our newest family member, had complications after being neutered. Dr Deb and everyone at the Ellwood Park Animal Hospital surprised us by taking care of Kip free of charge. I am humbled by your generosity. This place is a joke! We take our cat to get neutered and comes home with a broken hip, and they are taking no responsibility for it! Do not put your loved ones in the hands of these people. We have had such amazing care for our two dogs and our cat from Dr. Ray, Dr. Deb, and all the staff at Ellwood. Our older dog was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and became a tri-pawd early in 2015 and he received amazing treatment from Ellwood (and we got a ton of support from them as well). He went on to have almost two great years post-diagnosis. We had to say goodbye to him recently and although his final day was very hard, we were so thankful for the compassion and care he (and we) received from everyone at Ellwood. Read Less

The staff and doctors are always so friendly and knowledgeable. They are always able to quickly retrieve my pet's information and are up to speed even on very short phone calls to the clinic. Their interest in and familiarity with my pet makes me feel like his health is a priority for them. Very clean and calm facilities when ever I have been. Gentle, caring and patient attendance to my timid pet and I feel like they are not out to charge me as much as they can, only what is fair and reasonable.
