We were very, very upset when the Dr told us our pup could possibly have a heart problem.  He suggested blood work right away, which we did at the same time as the appointment (on a Friday) and that he would get right on the phone and try and book us in to a cardiologist.  We were told we would have the results Monday or possibly Tuesday and the Dr would call us right away.  We were absolutely DEVESTATED. I called Monday, I called Tuesday, I called Wednesday.  All of these calls I left my immediate contact number.   The third call on Wednesday I got to speak to a different Dr. who had not seen our pup.  She said she had left a message on our home phone number!!   "The blood work is fine but suggest a fecal sample".  I   asked but what about her heart, has the other Dr got hold of the cardiologist.  "I wouldn't know about that - I wasn't the one who saw her.  He's off until Friday."  Since then the Doctor still hasn't called us. (we are now at the three week mark!!) We are very, very upset and confused.  Our puppy has been seemingly fine since then but we still don't know what to think and we are worried all the time.I thought Veterenary Doctors were very caring and compassionate.  After this, my faith is shaken. If our puppy has another episode of the symptoms she had before,  I will be taking her elsewhere and requesting all our files be transferred. Please don't do this to anymore people or puppies.  We can't take the stress.
