My dog has kidney disease and requires a lot special attention and care. The staff at Austin Animal Hospital provide my dog with everything she needs, and then some. They are extremely compassionate and willing to go the extra mile, even if some if my requests are "a little out there" Prices are reasonable, and I should know, I've been to over a dozen Vets. One thing I found convenient is that they have an Ultrasound there, which saves me a taxi ride all the way to Canada West Veterinary Specialists.Read Less

I would give 0 stars if possible. Our puppy got sick and had diarrhea so we called this vet who told us to bring a stool sample for testing. We only went here because it was close and we had the first shot administered by them. (which was almost double what some vets charge for vaccinations.) We came in, the Dr. ran a few basic tests which took a couple minutes and then we left because they dont have their own lab to get the stool sample test results asap. (A lot of other animal hospitals do apparently) Had to wait for a few days so thank god our puppy didnt have anything serious. They told us to come in for results and made us wait for 30 min for a doctor to come in for 30 seconds to listen to our puppys heart and take a temperature and tell us our puppy is fine. Charged us a little over $400 in total.Read Less
