We used this vet to spay our dog, on the recommendation of our rescue service.
Post-spay, our dog has not been doing well - the sutures were loose and blood started dripping from her wound at about 6pm . It started to naturally open up without her bothering the wound at all.
We called the vet to get help and he refused to see her until the next morning, insisting that it was normal to have blood dripping within 24 hours of the surgery.
So we brought her in the following morning after a night of having her belly tied off with gauss. The vet then proceeded to bring me and my wife to the back with him. He then, WITHOUT anesthetic or painkiller, asked US to hold her down on the table (which had a dirty towel on it with other dog's hair) for him to do a few more stitches. Which, of course, didn't go well, seeing as any living animal would freak out. Her wound opened more when she was freaking out, so there was then more blood. All this while not wearing a surgical mask while trying to suture an open wound.
We would have taken her away instantly and gone to another vet had it not been for our concern of the wound being even more open.
When we got back, she was absolutely terrified and ran out of the door, peeing the whole way, because she wasn't put on a lead to bring her out to me (despite having fresh stitches). The new external stitches are bulging, uneven, and downright poorly done.
It's now three days on and the wound is still bleeding. My dog has done nothing other than sleep, to the point that it's difficult getting her to eat treats, despite being an active breed.
