If you’re looking for a doctor who specializes in malpractice go see doctor Honey. He neutered our precious six year old doggy and the next day his testicles were the size of two tennis balls by the time we brought him to doctor honey. Doctor honey said he had never seen that before and he must not have done the procedure correctly. He refused to help our poor dog who was standing there trembling in pain. He said he couldn’t help us because it was near the end of the day (we were there 2.5 hours before closing). Dr.Honey was very unprofessional and heartless. All the man cares about is money snd getting off work on time. Shame on him. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS CLINIC!!!!!!! He made our poor dogs problems much much worse than they were. He could tell we were extremely disappointed in him and proceeded to call us on the phone an hour later to argue with us. Pathetic bum.... don’t take your precious animals here if you care about them.

I took my girl into to see Dr.Honey and he and the staff were fantastic. It is one thing going to the vet to get your pet vaccinated, it is another thing when there is a veterinary emergency. My dog was in such good hands while there, the staff were amazing. The clinic seems very well organized and well run, and I was so happy to know that my dog was receiving the best possible care, and that she will be back to herself in a matter of days. He is probably the best vet ever, and more importantly Dr. Honey will be managing my dogs care. I cannot recommend this clinic enough!!CD

I took my boy there as they were open on a Saturday and could squeeze him in, I used to go to the Pemberton vet (Live in Whistler) and we got an appointment with Dr Jillian Thatcher and she has been nothing short of amazing. I thought he just had a pulled muscle but she was able to tell just from watching him walk that it was something more serious. Doesn't push any treatments or tests on us and ALWAYS confirms the cost with us before she does anything. The clinic always emails the day after the visit for an update on how he is doing and they are eager to hear how he is doing after trying new meds and you can tell that they genuinely care. I have been so pleased that I have actually stopped going to the Pemberton Vet and will continue to use Dr Thatcher for the future. We have been going to this vet quite consistently for the last few months and its always been a great experience. I also took my Guinea pigs to Garibaldi vet clinic and the level of care they delivered to my rodents and even their knowledge was amazing.

I met Dr. Honey in 2014, when he helped me through the toughest choices I needed to make regarding my dogs fight with cancer. He may not have agreed with some of them, but he stood by my decisions to the end. Two of my cats used to go to the vet in downtown. in 2014 my male cat got diagnosed with Bladder infection. After 20 days of antibiotic, still something was not right. One of my co-workers recommended GVH for the 2nd opinion. I was so impressed that Dr. Honey took so much time to get information, explained throughly and gave me the options what can be done including costs. At the other vet, it was like almost in and out procedure.The ultra sound showed he had crystals in his bladder, not just an infection. He got a proper treatment finally. Since then he has been a happy, healthy cat. Both of my cats have got dental cleaning done about a month ago. I couldn't do it without the insurance which Dr. Honey recommended. Such a good feeling your pets are under good care. I highly recommend GVH to everybody. Thank you Dr. Honey , Dr. Kirkham and of course friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Doctor Honey and Doctor Kirkham are both extraordinary veterinarians, great to the animals and their humans. My dog loves it so much that he pulls me in, or tries if we're just out for a walk, and is excited to see the vet and the rest of the staff. Both vets have great "bedside manners" with the pet owners as well. On a few occasions I was able to call and ask for advice on whether my dog should be seen or when he was having issues with an antibiotic prescribed, including once after hours and through their emergency service. Doctor Honey provided excellent care over the phone and was able to give me sound advice without seeing my dog and charging the after hours fee. An excellent clinic all around!

I was recently hired by GVH to photograph the hospital facilities and their staff. I don't own a pet, however during my 8 hours spending in hospital I quickly learned if I had a pet, this is where I would come for treatments. Since the moment I walked in, I felt like I am part of the family. Watching them taking care of their clients I simply realized these guys are the friendliest staff I have ever met. They offer comfort and friendliness you usually only see from your friends and family. I was simply blown away with amazing customer service, professionalism and warmth this clinic offers and would recommend their services to anyone in need.

We can't Thank You enough for reassuring us that a slight limp with our new shinny hip is quite normal and that she's doing so well. Once again you prove that there are people out there that just love animals. We're so happy we found your Hospital and Dakota looks forward to you helping her recover so she can enjoy 'A Golden Life'. Thanks again, your reassuring words has made this major surgery a lot less stressful for us. A vet that treats your four-legged family member like one of their own. I cannot say enough great things about Dr.Honey and his team. Dr. Honey is so approachable and easy to talk to. He took the time to listen to my concerns and delivered such good care of my cat when I lived in Vancouver. No only thoroughly addressing my concerns but was also being proactive in identifying other areas to pay attention to.
Now that I have relocated to Toronto, I still entrust my cat's health to Dr.Honey. He has gone the extra mile and been able and willing to provide me with sound advice when I hadn't yet found a local vet. Big shoes to fill indeed!

I've taken my pets to Dr. Honey and more recently Dr. Dattolico, since 2003. I've always had fantastic service from the staff and I've experienced wonderful care from both Dr. Honey and Dr. Dattolico. It has been 4 years since I relocated to Vancouver from Squamish and although there are many veterinarians in Vancouver, I continue to make the drive to Squamish to see the folks at GVH because of their caring attitude and excellent care. The reason I was inspired to write a review today is not because of the specific care I received (which is always excellent) but because of a thoughtful referral that occurred. I had an emergency call to Dr. Dattolico on Saturday evening of the May long weekend where she reassured me that I should seek care at the Vancouver Animal Emergency Clinic rather than bring my dog to Squamish for the emergency. When a Professional can make a referral in the best interest of the patient rather than in the best interest of a business, that really goes above an beyond service in my books. She kept in touch all weekend as the emergency unfolded with my dog and I am grateful for her reassurance that the care being given was the best possible given the situation.

If you’re looking for a doctor who specializes in malpractice go see doctor Honey. He neutered our precious six year old doggy and the next day his testicles were the size of two tennis balls by the time we brought him to doctor honey. Doctor honey said he had never seen that before and he must not have done the procedure correctly. He refused to help our poor dog who was standing there trembling in pain. He said he couldn’t help us because it was near the end of the day (we were there 2.5 hours before closing). Dr.Honey was very unprofessional and heartless. All the man cares about is money snd getting off work on time. Shame on him. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS CLINIC!!!!!!! He made our poor dogs problems much much worse than they were. He could tell we were extremely disappointed in him and proceeded to call us on the phone an hour later to argue with us. Pathetic bum.... don’t take your precious animals here if you care about them.

My dog was in such good hands while there, the staff were amazing. The clinic seems very well organized and well run, and I was so happy to know that my dog was receiving the best possible care, and that she will be back to herself in a matter of days. He is probably the best vet ever, and more importantly Dr. Honey will be managing my dogs care. I cannot recommend this clinic enough!!CD

I took my boy there as they were open on a Saturday and could squeeze him in, I used to go to the Pemberton vet (Live in Whistler) and we got an appointment with Dr Jillian Thatcher and she has been nothing short of amazing. I thought he just had a pulled muscle but she was able to tell just from watching him walk that it was something more serious. Doesn't push any treatments or tests on us and ALWAYS confirms the cost with us before she does anything. The clinic always emails the day after the visit for an update on how he is doing and they are eager to hear how he is doing after trying new meds and you can tell that they genuinely care. I have been so pleased that I have actually stopped going to the Pemberton Vet and will continue to use Dr Thatcher for the future. We have been going to this vet quite consistently for the last few months and its always been a great experience. I also took my Guinea pigs to Garibaldi vet clinic and the level of care they delivered to my rodents and even their knowledge was amazing.

They kept me updated and informed throughout the whole procedure and she is recovering so well it's amazing. New pet? Old pet? Need a vet? Go meet Dr. Honey or Dr. Kirkham at Garibaldi Veterinary Hospital they are the best clinic in town! I met Dr. Honey in 2014, when he helped me through the toughest choices I needed to make regarding my dogs fight with cancer. He may not have agreed with some of them, but he stood by my decisions to the end. I have total faith and confidence in both Dr. Honey and Dr. Kirkham as well as the staff in behind the scenes and at the desk. The clinic truly offers the best of the best!

Two of my cats used to go to the vet in downtown. in 2014 my male cat got diagnosed with Bladder infection. After 20 days of antibiotic, still something was not right. One of my co-workers recommended GVH for the 2nd opinion. I was so impressed that Dr. Honey took so much time to get information, explained throughly and gave me the options what can be done including costs. At the other vet, it was like almost in and out procedure.The ultra sound showed he had crystals in his bladder, not just an infection. He got a proper treatment finally. Since then he has been a happy, healthy cat. Both of my cats have got dental cleaning done about a month ago. I couldn't do it without the insurance which Dr. Honey recommended. Such a good feeling your pets are under good care. I highly recommend GVH to everybody. Thank you Dr. Honey , Dr. Kirkham and of course friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Doctor Honey and Doctor Kirkham are both extraordinary veterinarians, great to the animals and their humans. My dog loves it so much that he pulls me in, or tries if we're just out for a walk, and is excited to see the vet and the rest of the staff. Both vets have great "bedside manners" with the pet owners as well. On a few occasions I was able to call and ask for advice on whether my dog should be seen or when he was having issues with an antibiotic prescribed, including once after hours and through their emergency service. Doctor Honey provided excellent care over the phone and was able to give me sound advice without seeing my dog and charging the after hours fee. An excellent clinic all around!

I was recently hired by GVH to photograph the hospital facilities and their staff. I don't own a pet, however during my 8 hours spending in hospital I quickly learned if I had a pet, this is where I would come for treatments. Since the moment I walked in, I felt like I am part of the family. Watching them taking care of their clients I simply realized these guys are the friendliest staff I have ever met. They offer comfort and friendliness you usually only see from your friends and family. I was simply blown away with amazing customer service, professionalism and warmth this clinic offers and would recommend their services to anyone in need.

We can't Thank You enough for reassuring us that a slight limp with our new shinny hip is quite normal and that she's doing so well. Once again you prove that there are people out there that just love animals. We're so happy we found your Hospital and Dakota looks forward to you helping her recover so she can enjoy 'A Golden Life'. Thanks again, your reassuring words has made this major surgery a lot less stressful for us. In our opinion, anyone who has not yet found GVH is really missing out on the CARE and LOVE your team provides.

A vet that treats your four-legged family member like one of their own. I cannot say enough great things about Dr.Honey and his team. Dr. Honey is so approachable and easy to talk to. He took the time to listen to my concerns and delivered such good care of my cat when I lived in Vancouver. No only thoroughly addressing my concerns but was also being proactive in identifying other areas to pay attention to.
Now that I have relocated to Toronto, I still entrust my cat's health to Dr.Honey. He has gone the extra mile and been able and willing to provide me with sound advice when I hadn't yet found a local vet. Big shoes to fill indeed!

I recently just finished my practicum at GVH and I am so happy with the choice I made. The team at GVH is just amazing, they give the top care to pets and their owners treating everyone like family. Dr. Honey, Dr. Kirkham, and the girls ( Laura, Lara, Tracey, Michelle, Aliesha ) are so compassionate and knowledgeable who taught me so much and launched me on my carreer as a Veterinary Assistant! I've taken my pets to Dr. Honey and more recently Dr. Dattolico, since 2003. I've always had fantastic service from the staff and I've experienced wonderful care from both Dr. Honey and Dr. Dattolico. It has been 4 years since I relocated to Vancouver from Squamish and although there are many veterinarians in Vancouver, I continue to make the drive to Squamish to see the folks at GVH because of their caring attitude and excellent care. The reason I was inspired to write a review today is not because of the specific care I received (which is always excellent) but because of a thoughtful referral that occurred. I had an emergency call to Dr. Dattolico on Saturday evening of the May long weekend where she reassured me that I should seek care at the Vancouver Animal Emergency Clinic rather than bring my dog to Squamish for the emergency. When a Professional can make a referral in the best interest of the patient rather than in the best interest of a business, that really goes above an beyond service in my books. She kept in touch all weekend as the emergency unfolded with my dog and I am grateful for her reassurance that the care being given was the best possible given the situation.
