I took my cat in as he was sneezing profusely. He was examined and I was told he could be put on antibiotics or try Lysine, etc. 1st. I opted for plan B for starters. Not only did it not work but the mucous turned from clear to purulent in a couple of weeks. I actually wiped up a copious amount from a sneeze on a white paper towel & took it into the clinic. But instead of now being given the antibiotics, I was told I had to bring him in again & would be charged another exam etc. I was SOOO Pissed! I walked out. Yes, the Vet I saw was "nice" but nice did not help my sick cat nor my pocket book. I am a senior on a very fixed budget. I love my cat so I took him to some one else. Terrible experience.

The best vet clinic I've been to in Kamloops. Dr. Davies is a wonderful, knowledgeable and empathetic veterinarian. I would take any of my 3 pets here again without thinking twice.

Awesome experience here. I was very worried about bringing my senior cat to the vet as he is pretty skittish around new people but he did amazingly here! The smaller exam room helped him feel safe and less exposed and the ladies who examined him did a fantastic job!! He stayed very calm the entire time even during the blood work. Dr. Stewart was very kind and explained everything thoroughly. I really appreciate the amazing service from everyone at this clinic! You can tell they all really care about their clients and of course their pets! This is my go-to clinic from now on. :-)

5 stars every step of the way! Although I have worked with the KamVet team for over a year, yesterday I was a the hospital as a client and anxious guardian to my 15.5 yr lab Daisy who needed swift surgery. Having had a full geriatric medical check up recently with glowing results, we knew that she was a great candidate for this unexpected, yet necessary surgery. Not only did Dr Fergus and technicians Stephanie and Shelbi provide excellent medical care displaying all the professional and technical skills that make this hospital great, they also worked through the surgery with the greatest compassion and dignity toward my senior companion and best friend and with sincere empathy for me, the anxious client. Thank you team, Daisy is recovering well.

Dr. Paula Davies and her wonderful staff are anything you can ask for and your pet is in excellent hands with them.
We had a German Shepherd who was ill his entire life and the professionalism and compassion we encountered at the clinic was beyond words....
We have a "Golden" (Retriever) girl who is 9 years old and just got another GSD puppy and both are having their regular visits at the clinic - and loving it!!!

I can't say enough about the staff of The Kamloops Veterinary Clinic. In 2011 we were blessed to welcome Capone, a beloved bullmastiff, into our family, and right from the get-go he received all of his care, standard shots and check-ups, from the amazing staff at The Kamloops Veterinary Clinic. Three weeks ago Capone was diagnosed with bone cancer, and to be honest I think the staff were just as heartbroken as were. Over the last few weeks we have received compassion and care the likes I have never seen. From the techs to the vets to whoever it was answering all of my calls, I was met with concern and care every step of the way. They even went out of their way to call and check in to see how Capone (and the family) was doing. Today we had to say goodbye to our boy, and while it was the hardest thing I have ever done, Kamloops Vet Clinic did what they do every single day, and made sure that his last moments were peaceful and filled with love. I am so thankful that we have such compassionate, skilled, caring professionals taking care of our babies. I don't have the words to thank you all. I highly recommend this amazing clinic to everyone who loves their pets and wants the very best care they can get. Thank you, The Athertons

I have dealt with the Kamloops Vet Clinic for many years. They have always been helpful, compassionate and understanding. The front end staff, the vets and their assistants are all true animal lovers and it shows. When I last brought my old Golden Retriever in - she has arthritis - and the vet and her assistant saw her outside where she was more comfortable. That's where the caring and going above and beyond is so clear! I doubt I would ever take my pets anywhere else!

Amazing care from all staff with all my fur babies. Recently had to say goodbye to my beloved cat and the staff was deeply empathetic & patient with our hard decision during the week. I live out of town & the drive in is hard but the staff was able to help with this too. A week later, we received a beautiful sympathy letter in the mail with all the staffs' signatures. This was so thoughtful & caring that I wanted the clinic to know how much this meant to my husband & I. Thank You!

Awesome experience here. I was very worried about bringing my senior cat to the vet as he is pretty skittish around new people but he did amazingly here! Although I have worked with the KamVet team for over a year, yesterday I was a the hospital as a client and anxious guardian to my 15.5 yr lab Daisy who needed swift surgery. Having had a full geriatric medical check up recently with glowing results, we knew that she was a great candidate for this unexpected, yet necessary surgery. I can't say enough about the staff of The Kamloops Veterinary Clinic. In 2011 we were blessed to welcome Capone, a beloved bullmastiff, into our family, and right from the get-go he received all of his care, standard shots and check-ups, from the amazing staff at The Kamloops Veterinary Clinic. The front end staff, the vets and their assistants are all true animal lovers and it shows. When I last brought my old Golden Retriever in - she has arthritis - and the vet and her assistant saw her outside where she was more comfortable. That's where the caring and going above and beyond is so clear! I doubt I would ever take my pets anywhere else!

Two weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Siberian husky. All happened within a couple of days and the compassion and care that Maluk and his family (us) were provided was comforting and heart warming. Amazing care from all staff with all my fur babies. Recently had to say goodbye to my beloved cat and the staff was deeply empathetic & patient with our hard decision during the week. I live out of town & the drive in is hard but the staff was able to help with this too. A week later, we received a beautiful sympathy letter in the mail with all the staffs' signatures. This was so thoughtful & caring that I wanted the clinic to know how much this meant to my husband & I. Thank You!
