We are from out of town and our dog was not doing well so we called around to get him into to see a vet and the first one we called was going to be about 2 weeks before they could see him. We continued calling around and we were able to get him into Kelowna Veterinary Hospital 4 hours later. When Dr. Ellen examined him Buddy had multiple Bladder Stones that needed to be removed with surgery, they took him in immediately for emergency surgery and they kept him overnight. We didn't realize how serious it was and if it would have been delayed it could have been more serious than what it was. . We want to thank everyone at the Hospital for the care and love they gave Buddy and us, especially Dr.Ellen, we would without doubt recommend the facility. If we could give more than a 5 star review we would. Read Less

A year ago during a vacation in Kelowna our dog became very ill. Ellen was the Doctor on that day and she was so kind and compassionate towards our sick dog that had a very difficult diagnosis. This included calls back and forth with our vet in Calgary and a variety of lab tests. This year while back in Kelowna our dog took a turn for the worst and we had to put him down. Fortunately Ellen was the Doctor in that day as well. Being from out of town made this a difficult situation but she was just excellent, she even kept the clinic open late as we rushed him in from out of town and answered all of our questions even though I'm sure she would have rather been at home.
