Just wanting to pop in to leave a quick review on the excellent service my Bulldog and I received. We were out of town when my dog had an eye issue that needed attention. I decided I would try calling the vet that I am familiar with even though we couldn’t go in for a typical appointment Not only did Dr Moira speak with me on the phone, we did a video chat so she could see my dogs eye and then she was kind enough to call in a prescription to the local pharmacy!!
Whew what a relief for a concerned mom. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Moira has supported me in this all the way. She has always been there for me , including coming in at odd times when needed. Everyone who works for her has been kind as well. Never take your pet here If your expecting help, compassion or answers as one normally should. We never received follow up calls after our visits as one normally does at any reputable vet. This was even more hurtful and upsetting as our furry friend is not doing well. We had to make several follow up phone calls in order to hear back from the vet. After being fed up not receiving a call back we to go into the office in order to speak to the vet and not even an apology was given for the lack of response. Now after seeking a second opinion we are learning inadequate testing was done! Do not go here if you care for your furry family friend. We will be reporting this vet to the BBB of B.C., the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia and also perusing legal action once we receive confirmation of negligence. It's sad to have to write such a nasty review but I never want another family to experience what we have.

The team at PV is absolutely terrific! We do not trust any other veterinary office. (We have tried many top rated pet hospitals across North America out of desperation) This is not your typical office. They use all forms of treatment holistic and traditional. They brought our very sick and extremely loved pug back to life for many fantastic years. We are blessed with the means to fly or drive our dogs in for care when we are not in the area. We recommend if you need the ABSOLUTE BEST care you do the same. They are reasonably priced which is a steel of a deal when your dealing with the type of care not available anywhere else. One of my biggest fears is what I would do without them. Keep up the good work!

Omega, my cat , was hit by a car and dislocated his ankle. I took him to my vet who gave me two options: surgery ($ 4000) or amputate the leg. I was devastated . I decided I needed a second opinion....
Omega, my cat , was hit by a car and dislocated his ankle. I took him to my vet who gave me two options: surgery ($ 4000) or amputate the leg. I was devastated . I decided I needed a second opinion. My friend recommended her vet Dr. Moira . I phoned her office and they got me in the next day. Dr Moira reviewed the files sent over from my vet and came up with another option. She took me to the back and let me watch the procedure as she reset the dislocated ankle and put a splint on. So fast - so efficient. But what I admired most was her honesty. She told me that the dislocation was bad and there was a 50/50 percent chance it would not work. It has been 7 days and I met with Dr. Moira again today to have the splint removed (Omega almost pulled it off) . It looks like the leg is healing. She rewrapped the leg and we will know for sure in 2 weeks if it worked.
I am so grateful to Dr. Moira and the rest of her staff (especially Dr.Mike (think that the assisting vets name) and the young lady who assisted). What a great clinic.

Through puppy years, agility years...and now their Senior years we have had excellent care. I have always felt comfortable following Dr. Moira's holistic approach and have been glad for medications and modern technology when it was needed. Allowing me to be with my dogs when they are getting their teeth done, etc. is very important to me. I totally trust Dr. Moira and the staff at Pawsitive Vet and would recommend them to everyone.

I have recently "reconnected" with Pawsitive Veterinary Clinic. I live 1.5 hours away, and had a lab with cancer. We made regular routine visits to Dr. Moira. The excellent care Dr. Moira provided to Shadow extended his life by 7 years. He had a happy and productive life for the years he lived with cancer. I will always be grateful for her care of Shadow. Now, I am taking a new family member, Jemma, and Dr. Moira has been caring and helpful. The Clinic follows up. I highly recommend Pawsitive Veterinary Clinic for all your pets' needs.

Knowledgeable and holistic whole team approach to your animal's health and well-being at this Vet. I have gone to other Vets before but they don't compare. Love that Dr. Moira is a no-nonsense Vet who tells it like it is with a wealth of experience and mixes medicine with holistic treatments and really puts your fur babies care needs first. Love that they support a raw food diet and don't push unnecessary treatments/immunizations or sub-par food on you like other vets in this city. I always feel my fur babies are getting optimal care and attention here. I went to this Vet based on a recommendation from a friend and I always recommend Pawsitive Veterinary Care to everyone else. Thanks for taking such good care of my four fur babies!

In my option this is a Bad choice if your pet is sick. Told to give honey water to a badly infected cat by receptionist who delayed access to vet. When vet got around to talking to us she demanded we be in the office in 5 min or she was leaving. We had phoned in petty of time to get there but with receptionist delays of over 1/2 hour it was impossible to meet deadlines. They did not want to offer care and did not suggest or provide alternative care. Luckily we found a real vet who drained the abscesses and gave appropriate care elsewhere.Suggest you find a vet who cares! Not this one

Just wanting to pop in to leave a quick review on the excellent service my Bulldog and I received. We were out of town when my dog had an eye issue that needed attention. I decided I would try calling the vet that I am familiar with even though we couldn’t go in for a typical appointment Not only did Dr Moira speak with me on the phone, we did a video chat so she could see my dogs eye and then she was kind enough to call in a prescription to the local pharmacy!!
Whew what a relief for a concerned mom. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have been seeing Moira at Pawsitive Vet Care for many years. I am an organic farmer for 40 years and believe in raising and treating my animals wholistically . Moira has supported me in this all the way. She has always been there for me , including coming in at odd times when needed. Everyone who works for her has been kind as well. I really appreciate having her clinic in the Okanagan.

Never take your pet here If your expecting help, compassion or answers as one normally should. We never received follow up calls after our visits as one normally does at any reputable vet. This was even more hurtful and upsetting as our furry friend is not doing well. We had to make several follow up phone calls in order to hear back from the vet. After being fed up not receiving a call back we to go into the office in order to speak to the vet and not even an apology was given for the lack of response. Now after seeking a second opinion we are learning inadequate testing was done! Do not go here if you care for your furry family friend. We will be reporting this vet to the BBB of B.C., the College of Veterinarians of British Columbia and also perusing legal action once we receive confirmation of negligence. It's sad to have to write such a nasty review but I never want another family to experience what we have.

Have had nothing but great experiences here with my dog. He even gets Chiro on his back here which I was skeptical about at first but it actually has done wonders for my dog.

The team at PV is absolutely terrific! We do not trust any other veterinary office. (We have tried many top rated pet hospitals across North America out of desperation) This is not your typical office. They use all forms of treatment holistic and traditional. They brought our very sick and extremely loved pug back to life for many fantastic years. We are blessed with the means to fly or drive our dogs in for care when we are not in the area. We recommend if you need the ABSOLUTE BEST care you do the same. They are reasonably priced which is a steel of a deal when your dealing with the type of care not available anywhere else. One of my biggest fears is what I would do without them. Keep up the good work!

Truly the best vet ever. They are always there when you need them and help as soon as they can. Everyone always goes the extra step to help were they can. I have been taking my kids here for 12 years....

Omega, my cat , was hit by a car and dislocated his ankle. I took him to my vet who gave me two options: surgery ($ 4000) or amputate the leg. I was devastated . I decided I needed a second opinion....
Omega, my cat , was hit by a car and dislocated his ankle. I took him to my vet who gave me two options: surgery ($ 4000) or amputate the leg. I was devastated . I decided I needed a second opinion. My friend recommended her vet Dr. Moira . I phoned her office and they got me in the next day. Dr Moira reviewed the files sent over from my vet and came up with another option. She took me to the back and let me watch the procedure as she reset the dislocated ankle and put a splint on. So fast - so efficient. But what I admired most was her honesty. She told me that the dislocation was bad and there was a 50/50 percent chance it would not work. It has been 7 days and I met with Dr. Moira again today to have the splint removed (Omega almost pulled it off) . It looks like the leg is healing. She rewrapped the leg and we will know for sure in 2 weeks if it worked.
I am so grateful to Dr. Moira and the rest of her staff (especially Dr.Mike (think that the assisting vets name) and the young lady who assisted). What a great clinic.

My dogs are 12 years old this year and I have taken them to Dr. Moira and the gang regularly over the years. Through puppy years, agility years...and now their Senior years we have had excellent care. I have always felt comfortable following Dr. Moira's holistic approach and have been glad for medications and modern technology when it was needed. Allowing me to be with my dogs when they are getting their teeth done, etc. is very important to me. I totally trust Dr. Moira and the staff at Pawsitive Vet and would recommend them to everyone.

I have recently "reconnected" with Pawsitive Veterinary Clinic. I live 1.5 hours away, and had a lab with cancer. We made regular routine visits to Dr. Moira. The excellent care Dr. Moira provided to Shadow extended his life by 7 years. He had a happy and productive life for the years he lived with cancer. I will always be grateful for her care of Shadow. Now, I am taking a new family member, Jemma, and Dr. Moira has been caring and helpful. The Clinic follows up. I highly recommend Pawsitive Veterinary Clinic for all your pets' needs.

I absolutely love the Veterinary staff at Pawsitive! Not only are Dr. Moira and Dr. Mike both well educated in veterinary medicine but it is also a breath of fresh air that they are also well versed in alternative therapies. I personally believe that the pharmaceutical companies are building customers instead of cures, and knowing that I can put my full trust in Pawsitive that they are doing what they believe is the best and healthiest option for my pets makes me believe that they are the BEST veterinary clinic in the Okanagan!

Both Dr. Moira and Dr. Mike are personable, intuitive, and discerning when it comes to diagnosing issues and providing care. I appreciate the option of an all Holistic approach . Knowledgeable and holistic whole team approach to your animal's health and well-being at this Vet. I have gone to other Vets before but they don't compare. Love that Dr. Moira is a no-nonsense Vet who tells it like it is with a wealth of experience and mixes medicine with holistic treatments and really puts your fur babies care needs first. Love that they support a raw food diet and don't push unnecessary treatments/immunizations or sub-par food on you like other vets in this city. I always feel my fur babies are getting optimal care and attention here. I went to this Vet based on a recommendation from a friend and I always recommend Pawsitive Veterinary Care to everyone else. Thanks for taking such good care of my four fur babies!

I took my gsd in for ovary-sparing spaying. The Dr. and staff were wonderful. I was able to stay with my pet when she went under and when she awoke. Very inviting and professional at the same time....

In my option this is a Bad choice if your pet is sick. Told to give honey water to a badly infected cat by receptionist who delayed access to vet. When vet got around to talking to us she demanded we be in the office in 5 min or she was leaving. We had phoned in petty of time to get there but with receptionist delays of over 1/2 hour it was impossible to meet deadlines. They did not want to offer care and did not suggest or provide alternative care. Luckily we found a real vet who drained the abscesses and gave appropriate care elsewhere.Suggest you find a vet who cares! Not this one
