We love this clinic. The staff and Doctor are extremely caring and friendly! Our miniature schnauzer was attack by a larger dog and had a severe injury to his hind leg requiring immediate surgery. Post surgery they called us every day to check on how he was doing. We are from out of province and can definitely say we have never had dealings with a more supportive staff! We highly recommend Aldor Veterinarian Clinic!

We love the folks at Aldor Veterinary Clinic - most especially, Dr. Christiane Pfaender. We have needed their services for a number of different reasons over the years and we were always treated well and our animals were their top priority. Dr. pfaender gives reasonable advice regarding what is best for the animal and offers a conservative approach. She has also called us on multiple occassions after we have been there to check up on our animal and make sure that their recovery is progressing. I could not be happier with the care that we have received and we are so grateful to have found this wonderful place. Highly recommend!

Don't get suckered in by their "free" first visit. This visit is just a ploy to get you to come in so they can tell you everything that is perceivably wrong with your pet and then print up a bunch of expensive quotes. Like others, I was told that my pet needed extensive bloodwork and surgery. Went to a different vet and turned out she was completely fine.

I was not happy with my visit at all. The receptionist is extremely confused. She had no idea what was going on or which appointment was next. The vet was worse - every little thing that I said about ...
I was not happy with my visit at all. The receptionist is extremely confused. She had no idea what was going on or which appointment was next. The vet was worse - every little thing that I said about my dog she took as being a sign of an illness. My dog is completely healthy and happy at home. All of a sudden apparently he needs two surgeries and complete bloodwork and urinalysis. I took him in somewhere else for a 2nd opinion and they said he was perfectly fine. This vet tried to rip me off and run unnecessary tests and surgeries. I will never go here again.

Extremely disappointed with this clinic. We were saddened to have to say goodbye to part of our family. The experience we had is as follows:
- the clinic was far behind schedule ( with all the anxiety of the whole issue it would have been nice to been at least told )
-we were not offered a room at least to even be together instead we were waiting in a room full of strangers
-the technician who made the injection did not seem to know what she was doing as the vet had to correct her, heartbreaking as you could tell our dog was in pain and it made it all that much worse
-during the procedure we were still not given a private room, we were in a room where other technicians walked in and out of
-we also felt rushed to leave as it was past the time of closing
-our entire visit with the exception of waiting anxiously lasted all of 5 minutes

I had the most unfortunate experience with Aldor Veterinary Clinic today. I had awoken to my dog suffereing from large amounts of blood loss from her back side. Horrified and scared I phoned our vet...
I had the most unfortunate experience with Aldor Veterinary Clinic today. I had awoken to my dog suffereing from large amounts of blood loss from her back side. Horrified and scared I phoned our vet at Aldor Vet clinic first thing in the morning. I was told they had no appointments available and that they could not help me. I explained that this was a situation that needed IMMEDIATE medical attention, preferably by my dogs family vet-still, they told me I could not be “fit in” . I then asked if the vet could tell me what to do or what might be happening. I was put on hold, only to be greeted moments later by another person at the clinic explaining that they could not help me and to try somewhere else.
I am ABSOLUTLY HORRIFIED by the lack of compasssion and assistance from the staff here. I will not be returning and will be finding a vet with some compassion and common sense.
To make matters worse, I was here several days earlier with my pup about an unrelated issue...whilst in with the vet-she and her staff were googling possible reasons my dog was suffering from a patch of hair loss-thanks-I think I can just google myself and save $100 😑

One of our cats eat something that he was not supposed to eat. It got stuck in his stomach. When the did the surgery the found it was already in his large intestin and so they just stitched him up and charged us half price.

I am watching our new kitten frolic around the living room as I write this. Just over a week ago when we'd had Tino for only a week, he got really sick, and in fact was dying of dehydration, listless and unmoving, refusing all food and water. So we are so grateful for the excellent care of the staff at Aldor Veterinary Clinic who rescued Tino from the precipice. They are pros!

Our four legged family members have had wonderful service with the Aldor Vet Clinic for several years now!! Unfortunately our tame feral cat "Blackie" had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago. Blackie had been with us for over 8 years and was a real cool guy for a street cat. I was in the waiting room with our dog Blu while my wife stayed with Blackie during the procedure. When my wife come out she was emotional so we said goodbye and left. Two days later we received a sympathy card in the mail from the Aldor clinic signed by everyone that works there. This was a very nice thing for them to do and was greatly appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Vet Clinic to family and friends. Keep up the good work!!

Our four legged family members have had wonderful service with the Aldor Vet Clinic for several years now!! Unfortunately our tame feral cat "Blackie" had to be put to sleep a few weeks ago. Blackie had been with us for over 8 years and was a real cool guy for a street cat. I was in the waiting room with our dog Blu while my wife stayed with Blackie during the procedure. When my wife come out she was emotional so we said goodbye and left. Two days later we received a sympathy card in the mail from the Aldor clinic signed by everyone that works there. This was a very nice thing for them to do and was greatly appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Vet Clinic to family and friends. Keep up the good work!!
