Dr. Moats has done 3 of my pre-purchase exams. He was very thorough. He spent a great deal of time examining the horses and discussing the fit with our family. They are all wonderful horses! On a sad and happy note, Dr. Moats and Dr. Sarah helped managed TC, our pony's cushings and final rest. Dr. Moats was so kind and diligent working with us, Kaya Hunter & Blair Barlett to help make TC's last couple of years ...good ones! When TC started failing, Dr. Moats responded immediately and himself, and Dr. Sarah were so thoughtful and kind to help us when it was time to put TC to rest. This has to do with the kindness and character of the CV Vet staff. I was driving east to give a presentation for a client in the Kootenays, missed my flight, running out of gas, broken cell phone and my credit card didnt work. I needed to make a call to my daughter to clear the credit card for Canadian travel and there was no-one who could assist. So i drove down the street and pulled into Clover Valley Vet. The two women there, Sarah and Cait (I believe), were immensely helpful and generous. Sarah even volunteered to drive back to the gas station with me to buy me a tank of gas should my card continue to fail. They didnt know me from anyone. I was just an anxious American woman with a perfect storm of circumstances. They let me call my family as much as I needed to and let them call me back using the business number. I was able to clear up the situation and get on the road again, albeit with a few more grey hairs. If it werent for these two women i would have missed a very important work commitment.
