This has to do with the kindness and character of the CV Vet staff. I was driving east to give a presentation for a client in the Kootenays, missed my flight, running out of gas, broken cell phone and my credit card didnt work. I needed to make a call to my daughter to clear the credit card for Canadian travel and there was no-one who could assist. So i drove down the street and pulled into Clover Valley Vet. The two women there, Sarah and Cait (I believe), were immensely helpful and generous. Sarah even volunteered to drive back to the gas station with me to buy me a tank of gas should my card continue to fail. They didnt know me from anyone. I was just an anxious American woman with a perfect storm of circumstances. They let me call my family as much as I needed to and let them call me back using the business number. I was able to clear up the situation and get on the road again, albeit with a few more grey hairs. If it werent for these two women i would have missed a very important work commitment. If I had a horse, I'd take it to Clover Valley Vet. Thankyou so very much. Ladies, if you ever need a place to stay or a friend in Bellingham, I'm your girl. Day or night.Read Less
