After going to different veterinary doctors over the last few years we have finally found the best. Dr. Virender Ahlawat is very knowledgeable and professional. He has been treating our two Dachshunds and obtained great results every time. He takes a lot of time for each patient and listens to you. We trust him completely. He charges rather low fees. Kennedy is the vet technician we dealt with and she has been great. Don't rely on older reviews as this Dr. purchased the clinic a few months ago and anything you read here that is older only applies to the previous vets and staff. Read Less

Old doctor was good but new doctor is horrible and very unprofessional and untrained. Went there for a spay on my cat and the IV cathater was never placed (which should 100% always be done) which we payed for, and signed off that it would be placed. When questioned she said that the cat was "too wiggily" never go here as the doctors do not know anything. Staff and old doctors used to be awesome but this has changed very much in the past 2 months. Read Less

We had gotten out kitten from here in October and the cost included spay, and first set of vaccines. My boyfriend and I got out kitten spayed on March 5th 2018. When I dropped her I asked if she will be having a iv catheter and being intubated and the assistant/receptionist said yes and I signed a form and initialled off on Iv catheter and iv fluid therapy, also pain meds for post surgery. When I went to pick her up she was still quite sedated and she had no shaved spot for her catheter. I asked where it was placed, the assistant at the time working said I'll go get the doctor. He came out and he said she did not have one placed. I was very upset because I had previously asked and signed off on it. He said she was too wiggly. I said that is no excuse to not place a ivc. I myself work in a veterinary hospital in the surgery department, and know this is not right. He said he would refund us 50$ since there was not one placed. I said this is totally unacceptable and what if something had happened? They had no IV access. He said he needs to train his staff better. But he's the doctor? Am I right? Anyways a month later I wanted to get her records because we will not be coming back. The receptionist/assistant said she needs the doctors permission to give me the records. She called me later that night saying I can pick them tomorrow. Tomorrow rolls around and I go pick up the records. I was only handed the anesthesia record. I asked for the full records (vaccinations, check ups, paper that I signed). I was given them at the time I didn't see the doctors report from the surgery, I went back in and asked for the doctors report, the guy that was in there had a confused look on his face and I said doctors notes from the surgery..  (people working In a animal clinic should know what your talking about). He said he needed to ask the doctor, I said okay he's there in his office, he said no he's not here. (I had seen the doctor when I was walking up) I walked out, went back to my car looked over the records with my boyfriend and had concerns so we went back in to ask questions. The doctor came storming out threatening to call the cops, yelling at us, said fuck you to my boyfriend. Not the way to talk to clients no matter what. On the sheet where I had signed for ivc the dr had written 'O' declined to pay so ivc was placed. At the bottom of his records he had put " o came to pick up cat, o said she was mad we did not place ivc. Again explained she did not want to pay. The whole procedure was done for free for sympathy. O started saying foul language, creating mess. I paid 50$ cash to avoid mess." This doctor is a liar and I recommend no one comes to him. Read Less

Unfortunately I had to split up a litter I found that was super sick, I brought four to him and four to another vet, it was the worst choice I ever made, I should have brought them all to him, but Becuase I didn’t want his staff to be overwhelmed I split them up between to clinics. It brings me tears when I speak of this as the four who went to another clinic didn’t make it, however he SAVED every single one that was brought to him! It’s not a mircal but skills, he knows what he is doing and in the future I will only be using him. Every puppy brought to him was able to come home within four days, that is jaw dropping amazing. The other clinic was super curt and would t give me the time of day, however murreyville has no problems calling me or awnsering my check up inquires ( I called them at least three times a day).. it was a hard lesson to learn but I now I know, and will only be comming to Murreyville animal hospital! I haven't even met this vet and he's already done an incredible job! We rescued a dog that had already been through two homes. The first was abusive and the second was misguided in her intentions and went to a naturopathic vet. The poor pup was never diagnosed with the spinal injuries he'd sustained and was living in pain for 2+ years. This vet knew there was a problem with his spine BEFORE he'd even had a chance to X-ray or examine him (fear aggression) ... just based off the pup's gait. He does such incredible work for rescue agencies and clearly adores his charges. If I didn't live so far away (North Vancouver), I'd go to him myself! Read Less

I took my litter here all of them were sick. Honestly the best staff in the world, one Of the staff members has been contacting me directly even on her days off when the clinic was closed to the public for the holiday. It really eases my mind to know my Little ones are getting great medical attention but also the staff Who generally love animals, and are honestly so helpful! I’m always so sceptical about vets and who to use but I’m really really satisfied with this vet. And I’d have to be to travel as far as I do! Thanks to him my babies will ALL live, where many vets in the past have not been able to save them befor. He also isn’t money hungry he really does his best for he good of the animal. If your looking for a vet I can confidently say look no further Becuase he is the best of the best, will a stellar staff group. Honestly a litter of pups is hard to take care of, they are screaming every time I go in, and the staff have such a smile on their face as they are going each on individual attention. I call about three times a day and they are all more hen accommodating and understanding with giving me updates. Again I really can’t stress enough how good the staff is, I’m still in awe she went out of her way to contact me on her day off when the clinic wasn’t open to the public Becuase she knew how much I stressed for the updates, she also offered to get the report done for insurance that wasn’t sent in from HOME! 10/10. A’s you can tell from My lengthy review I consider this place , top quality services and health care. I took my dog to this vet after he was attacked and the vet and assistant were awesome. As soon as we got there he gave him pain medication right away. They were very good with him, gave us a quote and started surgery right away. When it was finished it was more of a surgery than they thought and they still honoured the original quote. You can tell this vet generally cares about helping animals, which is rare to find sadly. My dog is doing very good and it’s a miracle he’s alive, thanks to the vet. I changed my vet to Dr.K. He is extremely & awesomely knowledgeable. He communicates the status of my dogs well being throughout. He is very caring. He offers a staff member who is on call to be with my dogs if they have to stay overnight for an extra charge. Its so well worth it to me! my cat got hit by a car had broken legs told me it would be three surgeries and that it would cost 3500 to $12,000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I said for a cat ! then he says well he's like your family member isn't he.. totally a rip off..we had to put our cat down because of there greed. Read Less
