My sister and I have both been taking our pets here for years. Dr. Wolfe was amazing but has moved on to a different location. The girls at the front desk are awesome, I deal with Ashley a lot, she is fantastic. I had Dr. MacDonald once as was very disappointed with her as she told me "Cats are not very social and do not tend to do well with other cats" I was explaining to her that the previous vet (Dr. Whitley) I saw told me to get another cat for him as he was having separation anxiety (and was very sick) when we weren't home/went on a vactaion. She just did not seem to know very much about cats, when I called back to make my next appointment I requested not to have her again and they informed she was no longer working there which made me feel better. It has taken me almost a year to write this review but I feel that people need to know our story. This vet clinic did not perform the necessary diagnostics (ultrasound) on my beloved dog and he passed away after 4 months of suffering due to a bacterial infection that was not treated properly. After consulting other vets, I believe my dog had pancreatitis, developed seizures and was bleeding internally (causing heart problems) prior to his very traumatic passing. I paid approximately $3,500 for (the wrong) treatment on my dog between this vet clinic and the Langley Emergency clinic and am beyond disappointed that symptoms such as 10% blood loss went unchecked and my concerns about having follow ups were casually dismissed. I requested ultrasounds, x-rays and follow up appointments to check the infection as well as mentioned I felt his skin looked pale very early on in treatment. In retrospect, I should have advocated more for my dog and taken him somewhere else for a second opinion because we miss him beyond anyone's comprehension. I believe that this clinic does care about animals and made a mistake, but I will not be taking my other dog here and I do not recommend this vet to others because I would not risk the potential outcome. I have brought my 2 yorkies to them in the past year and Dr. Whitley is awesome at explaining everything to you and Dr. Loft was very compassionate when my boy was about to lose a toe from a tumour. definately where you want your baby to go during major surgery or a simple shot. also all the assistants are just amazing! thank you!
