I have been using this vet for over 30 years and have been very happy with them until recently. There has been some management and personnel changes and the level of service and professionalism has gone down the toilet. I recently took my cat with a swollen cheek there and saw a Dr Carmen Bell she at first misdiagnosed him and gave me some eye drops and antibiotics and said if it didn't get better in a couple of weeks it might be a tooth. Well it didn't get better so I phoned her and she said the tooth would have to come out and would cost 1200 hundred dollars I asked if there was any alternative as it was very expensive. She said the only alternative was to put him down.I said I would have to talk to my Wife and we would get back to her and that is where the conversation should have ended. She then said that if I didn't take action immediately and have the tooth removed or the cat euthanized that she would call the SPCA.Needless to say I won't be threatened or strong-armed. and I will never take an animal there again. My dog is gone now. He received treatment at this clinic 3 weeks ago. The vet told me it would be fine to put him under anesthetic, with his heart condition this is something I should have never done. I think they wanted my $1000 more than they wanted to help. I'm very upset that I listened to their advice, as I believe he would still be alive if I never brought him here. I'm not sure what they did to him as when I did bring him into another clinic for a second opinion, he had a panic attack and lost all consciousness and passed out the moment the vet touched him to listen to his heart. This was something I've never seen him do before and the last memory I have before having to put him down. Seek two opinions before bringing your dog here please, I wish I had... Read Less
