In the last couple of years we have turned to Dr Cichon for his expertise and invaluable advice even though we live near Abbotsford. Our rescue from Mexico was displaying unexplained body spasms and a head tic when he arrived in Canada. Our local vet had no experience with such symptoms and suggested our dog may have encephalitis. We subsequently discovered from his shelter in Mexico that he had sustained neurological damage due to distemper as a pup. We requested Dr Cichon to examine him and he made several very helpful suggestions. He discussed the idea of neuroplasticity with us and put together a regime for us to follow at home. Today, our rescue is a healthy, strong dog with his spasms almost undetectable. Recently, our Westie was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer in her ear. Our vet was unable to perform the necessary procedure to treat her. Once again, Dr Cichon has been able to step in and do extensive surgery on her ear, leaving her now cancer free. Needless to say, both our dogs have now become regular patients of Lonsdale Pet Hospital! We can not recommend Dr Cichon, Kathy and Nadya highly enough. It is definitely worth our time to travel to receive such service and care not found anywhere else. Thank you for all you have done for us! Read Less

We would like to thank Dr Cichon for his excellent care of our Welsh Terrier. Our regular vet could no longer provide treatment for her myasthenia gravis, a debilitating condition that affects the muscles. Dr Cichon, along with acupuncture sessions, lab tests and supplements significantly improved her quality of life. We found Dr Cichon to be very compassionate and extremely knowledgeable handling such a difficult case. Thank you also to Kathy. Read Less

I’ve moved around so I’ve been to 3 Veterinary Clinics. Dr. Cichon is an excellent Vet that who I’ve visited for more than 5 years. My first dog had serious illnesses & Dr. C. diagnosed & treated his complex conditions. Paulina & Sarah, the receptionist/Vet techs have always been welcoming, warm, knowledgeable. Both Paulina & Sarah were a great comfort when Barney became terminally ill and Dr. Cichon helped me through the trauma of losing him. When I rescued a new puppy Dr. Cichon, Paulina & Sarah welcomed him effusively and thoroughly checked him over. Unfortunately, a temporary replacement worked at the clinic briefly & if Dr. Pawel or the regulars weren’t there you might get a wrong impression. At this time I can confidently highly recommend this Vet Clinic & Hospital. There is expert care, as well, alternative and wholistic treatment is available. Read Less

Dr. Cichon is a very caring and empathetic vet. He explains issues thoroughly. My "Porsha" was given the very best of care during her senior years and the end of life decision was very well done. You can see her picture on the board as Porsha was often there in the end and she loved going there. She sat in the reception chair like she was the mascot. Our pets are family and that's the way this place makes you feel. I now take my daughter's dog to him. I won't go anywhere else. Read Less
