The team at Westview Vet were wonderful in dealing with the end of our beloved dog. In our final visit Dr. Jeff and his entire team were extremely professional and kept us well informed of everything that was about to occur, helping to alleviate as much stress as was possible at that time. Our visits with Jackie prior to this had been great. She was very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful in understanding our options as we looked toward the unfortunate end we knew was coming. Thank you all for your help over this difficult time.

I was so impressed with the care my dog received at Westview Veterinarian Services in North Vancouver. My dog had what seemed to be an urgent matter and we were taken right away. From the moment we walked in she was so cared for by everyone. Dr Jackie is so smart and kind. She explained everything so well. I have not experienced this kind of positive experience before with my previous pet. My dog was not anxious one bit. And for what it's worth, neither was I. I highly recommend this Veterinarian.

I went to Westview for a second opinion on my cat since my previous vet has been unable to diagnose her despite numerous blood tests and appointments. She would not eat despite being prescribed mirtazapine and since my past vet said there was nothing wrong with her, I was incredibly worried - she kept getting thinner and thinner. I made an appointment with Dr. Jeff who did a new set of blood tests, gave her subcutaneous fluids and showed me how to administer them at home. By the next morning she was racing to the food bowl, way more active and Westview called me back with blood test results. We are continuing to look for the underlying cause with an ultrasound. Dr Jeff gave me multiple options of paths we can take to determine the problem. This stuff is expensive of course but the fees they charge are totally reasonable. I will be moving to Westview for primary care for all of my cats and would absolutely recommend them. The reception staff and veterinary assistance are also incredibly caring.

We just recently took our Golden Retriever puppy to Westview. Right away, I was impressed with the caring and professional staff at this clinic starting with the front desk. We have been very reluctant to leave our old vet, however after meeting Dr. Jeff and Dr. Jackie, we decided to make the move. Both vet's were very attentive and knowledgeable.

Having my former dog Clancy treated by Dr. Jeff for two years at his Aldergrove practice for rehab, I was delighted to find he was practicing in North Van. I trust him implicitly with my animals, his judgement is to the point, sensible, and caring. My dog Ruff is very relaxed with him as well, always a good sign. Staff is efficient and accommodating, very pleasant.

Horrible customer service and highly unprofessional. I wish I could give half a star or less. I went in there to order special pet food. First off, there are 3 or 4 receptionists who didnt even raise their heads to acknowledge me or offer any assistance. Finally, I approached one of them who seemed very disengaged and disinterested in helping me order pet food. She had to seek help from one of the other girls and they didnt know where to look for the food I was looking for. Finally after they are flipping pages back and forth, they said that the order would be in next week and I would be notified so I could pay and pick up then.
Next week comes around and I never receive a call from them, so I drop by and ask them about my order which at this point had been 10 days since the placement.
Again, same attitude, no one greets you, no one even bothers to look at you and when I inform them that I am here to pick up the pet food. They all look puzzled. The girl who was talking to me does not even bother to get up, she just points to some food by the wall and says thats what was delivered if its not there then I dont know. Another girl goes to look at the food and says sorry its not here and upon further digging she says, we never even placed an order.
I walked out at that point and will never ever go back. If this is the way they handle a simple task of ordering food, I cant even imagine how they deal with the pets.

Dr Sommerfeld even called on her day off, before she had any results, just to see how her patient was doing. Orange kitty made a full recovery and I would never trust anyone else to care for my fur babies.

We had the friendliest and most knowledgeable service possible with follow up phone calls to check in with us. Wilson our precious Golden Retriever was neutered and is healing fast. I wouldn't even want to give them one star anymore. After being the place I've taken all my pets too in the past three years I never had a problem until this last visit. They were always really nice and accommodating for me, at least the front staff was.
Though my dog and I just had his last visit ever there due to the veterinarian hitting my dog in front of me, and my dog is only 5 pounds. Due to that I would NOT recommend this place to anybody wishing to fix their pet. Find another place!
****** I would like to update this and say the woman in charge of doing that is no longer working there so I have no further complaints everybody else there has always been extremely nice and professional.

The staff are very friendly. They helped look after my rambunctious toddlers while I waited for my appointment - super appreciated! The doctors have many years experience and are very thorough with assessments and diagnostics. Follow up was also thorough and friendly. They're not the cheapest vet out there but I think it's fair and in this case you really do get what you pay for. I definitely would recommend this vet.

I took my Dobie pup there for his second set of vaccinations, and really, really liked them. The receptionist was super friendly, and the vet was enthusiastic about having a Doberman pup as a patient. He's dealt with Dobies in the past and really, really loves the breed.

We just recently took our Golden Retriever puppy to Westview. Right away, I was impressed with the caring and professional staff at this clinic starting with the front desk. We had the friendliest and most knowledgeable service possible with follow up phone calls to check in with us. Wilson our precious Golden Retriever was neutered and is healing fast. We had several calls with Daniel who is amazing, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Thanks Dr Bowra and staff. Westview rocks!

I wouldn't even want to give them one star anymore. After being the place I've taken all my pets too in the past three years I never had a problem until this last visit. They were always really nice and accommodating for me, at least the front staff was.
Though my dog and I just had his last visit ever there due to the veterinarian hitting my dog in front of me, and my dog is only 5 pounds. Due to that I would NOT recommend this place to anybody wishing to fix their pet. Find another place!
****** I would like to update this and say the woman in charge of doing that is no longer working there so I have no further complaints everybody else there has always been extremely nice and professional.

The staff are very friendly. They helped look after my rambunctious toddlers while I waited for my appointment - super appreciated! The doctors have many years experience and are very thorough with assessments and diagnostics. Follow up was also thorough and friendly. They're not the cheapest vet out there but I think it's fair and in this case you really do get what you pay for. I definitely would recommend this vet.

I took my Dobie pup there for his second set of vaccinations, and really, really liked them. The receptionist was super friendly, and the vet was enthusiastic about having a Doberman pup as a patient....
I took my Dobie pup there for his second set of vaccinations, and really, really liked them. The receptionist was super friendly, and the vet was enthusiastic about having a Doberman pup as a patient. He's dealt with Dobies in the past and really, really loves the breed.
