My entire family and I have been clients of Bellevue Vet Hospital for many many years and with many many different pets over the years. I had been satisfied with the level of service and the care of our furry family members in the past. I have an 8 year old chihuahua who has been going to this vet since she was just a puppy. I moved to Alberta for a few years and just came back last week. On top of my moving expenses my alarm went off to get wormer for my dog, so I thought no biggie, I'll pop on back to Bellevue. I advised the receptionist my dog had been in to my vet in Alberta a few months prior, was healthy, happy to be back in BC and that we just needed a worm pill for her. I was told they would not sell me a worm pill as I had been taking her to another vet, and that I should call them. When I advised them that is not local, I have moved back now and she had just been to my vet in Alberta a few months prior for shots, they refused to help me unless I paid for a full check up with their vet. I feel as though this is a quick cash grab from this establishment, they can see I have been a loyal client of theirs, and all I needed was a worm pill, not to spend hundreds to have my healthy dog looked at. I have taken my business to Mid-isle Veterniary Hospital who helped me right away, no unnecessary appointments or charges. I am disappointed with the level of service provided to me and my dog, I along with my entire family will be taking our business elsewhere. Read Less

We are currently in a hospice situation with our senior dog Rosco. He is being put to rest next week at our home. The Bellevue team has been amazing. First class service, patience and understanding every step of the way. Today my Rosco was suffering and although our usual vet was off; another vet stepped was there to help ease his pain. My elder dog had bladder stones that required a procedure and the next day, bladder surgery. I was told that he would have the stones reoccur and would not live much past six months unless he had another op...and there was no alternative therapy. Not willing to lose my boy, I researched extensively, found supplements to counteract the formation of stones, and my dear boy is doing well four years later. Read Less

I really love this place. They are very helpful and care about our animals very well. I live that they don't book you in unnecessary for their fee when you need working meds. It is helpful to the pocket book. The staff there are great.Read Less

The best! I come from Nanaimo to stay at Bellevue. Love them and so does my sweet dog. All the vets have been wonderful, above and beyond, and genuinely kind. The staff are fantastic and very supportive as well. Read Less

Dr Dahl & his staff listen. Did you "hear" that? Lol I've been to most Vets in the area & have found Belvue head & shoulders above the rest. I've been overcharged by bankers, dentists, & other vets. At Belvue you are not a dollar sign walking in the door. It's all about your pet. Read Less

wonderful caring staff, went above and beyond for me and my dog Hazel! Im from out of town and these wonderful people fit me in at the end of their day! when Hazel wouldnt calm down inside they worked with her outside, i would never have thought to do that and it worked to a point! they stayed late to get the best answers they could!
