Do not go to this vet ever. Very unprofessional and the service was terrible. They force you to bring your animal in for over the counter flea medication and then only provide you with enough for the one pet even if you have others that require the flea meds. Also charges an extremely high examination fee even when other vets offer the flea meds over the counter. Read Less

I took my cat here for years. At first, everything was ok. After years of trust, I was betrayed. I started to go to another veterinarian, and requested his insulin prescription to be sent over to the new vet. My Kitty Bart was refused a re-fill of insulin as the vet wanted to make more money by me coming in with him to get it from her, instead of from the new vet. I am so disappointed. It is not just the lack of love for animals, but the fact that I realized that some veterinarians are only out for money. I was able to express my negative experience to the vet here at Meadowvale and her reply was "You are wasting my time". Read Less

I have to say Dr.Aman has come through twice when my other vet failed in emergency situations. She is very kind and I never felt her prices were higher then anywhere else. Do not take your animal to this vet!!!! I recently took my 3rd cat to get spayed her. First off the vet told my husband that she was pregnant and that we should schedule blood work to confirm. When she was advised that the kitty was an indoor kitty and lived with 2 other spayed animals..she quickly corrected herself and said she must have just eaten...which she hadn’t. Then she recommended unnecessary testing to ensure she didn’t DIE When she was put under. I’ve had two other animals fixed and this was never require or recommended. How dare she try and scare people into spending $150 on blood work! This vet is only after money, it’s very obvious she has no care for the animals well being! Read Less

We have been bringing our two dogs to see Dr. Aman for several years now and the service has always been great. No pressure from her, and always understanding of our concerns/questions. We don't have pet insurance and have always found Dr. Aman to be reasonably priced and always responsive, even when we have had to call after-hours. Read Less

Enormously happy with Dr. Aman and the clinic. This is no 'Porsche driven' vet, practical, personable and loves animals with reasonable rates for checkups and procedures (and you can almost never say that about a vet). I have had many pets of many types, and have been to many vets. I am very happy with Dr. Aman. Will spend lots of time with the humans to explain and go over things. Read Less

Horrible experience. Got charged two weeks of antibiotics that only lasted a week- I DID measure properly. I double and triple checked. Very rough examination which my cat hated as he's a kitten. Very rough cleaning his ears and much discomfort for my animal. Got over charged for my meds when I had a strict budget of $150, she said it wouldn't be an issue....get to the counter and she almost tried changing me $200+ for a checkup, dewormer, and a weeks worth of antibiotics. Don't go here if you value your pets care and your wallet. I get that things cost money but it was an emergency case of worms that they forced me to get a checkup for when I KNEW what it was. Stop over charging people who know what's wrong with their pet and just need a vet to approve the treatment. Causing yourself grief for no reason.Read Less

Yet another discount vet who doesn't know what she's doing, she clearly just opened this clinic to undercut decent vets without considering that to make money you need to have something to offer. She barely said anything to me or did anything, she gave my dog a quick look over with her eyes only and all she had to say was he needed this and that expensive treatment for his teeth. No mention of his heart or lungs or eyes or his health in general, no questions about him or showing the least bit of interest, just get him in, list all the secondary services I should be paying for, try and push as many medications as possible, and then done. What a joke, I could literally do a better checkup myself, and then just sit and read pamphlets on different vaccines and services and cut out the superfluous middle man all together. Read Less

I would give 0 stars if possible. Please... If you love your pets. NEVER BRING THEM TO THIS VET! They made it very clear that the money comes before your pet's health. Before we had established any issues, the vet listed off tons of prices, and then after a diagnosis was found, we were told that the pet didn't have long and was saying that euthanasia was basically the only option ( though the pet wasn't in pain). We then asked if there was anything that we could do to make the rest of our pets life comfortable and help her, and the vet was adamant that there was nothing. After 20 seconds of researching the Internet, we found many possible solutions ranging from supplements to a blood transfusion. No guarantees, but better than a flat nothing as our vet suggested.. (Prime example of the care she portrayed). After taking out pet to the Langley pet hospital, we then found out that euthanasia was certainly not the best route at all, and they were very happy to see that we decided on a second opinion. We needed the blood work for this appointment, which was to be obtained from the meadow vale vet.. This proved to be far more difficult than it needed to be, even resulting in them hanging up on my girlfriend. When we did finally get the paperwork faxed over, it was just a blank copy of their patient registration form with 2 blank pieces of paper attached. The receptionist at the hospital was just as impressed as we were. All in all, we had nothing but a terrible experience with this place, and I can only wonder how many people have put down their beloved pets because of being poorly informed.
