I am new to this vet, my dog Ozzy was denied surgery at our previous and left untreated, we were told to wait for a dermatologist appointment and that surgery wasn’t necessary a few days later my dogs toe nails were turning black, clearly infected and bleeding everywhere barely hanging on. I called in panic and got a hold of this hospital. They got Ozzy in same morning and same day did the surgery and started him on antibiotics and pain meds. Dr.B took the time to explain everything and was very thorough. I am so relieved to have found this new Vet, close to home and clearly willing to help and treat the sick animals. Ozzy is feeling better and healing. We still have a way to go, but at least his toe nail issue has been dealt with. Read Less

Dr Clark and the front office are great. They were able to get Odin in the evening of when the appointment was made(6:30pm) which is very accommodating. Dr. Clark is very thorough and was able to explain all of the options for Odin's swollen eye. In the end, the antibiotics and topical cream were enough as Odin's recovery has been awesome. Furthermore, Dr Clark personally went out of his way to make a follow up phone call a week later. Over and above in my books. Read Less

Absolutely wonderful service. Assistants and Dr. Clark are amazing. I brought my cat in a few weeks ago he spent nearly an hour just talking to me about her history and what he thought could be wrong problems and solutions, very thorough. Him and all his staff seem to genuinely care about the animals and helping in whatever way they can. I’ve had to bring her in every day for about a week for medication and they have just been outstanding, answering any questions I have giving all the information I could possibly need. It's okay. Good surgery for getting spayed but wasn't happy when the price they told me was initially 180 and by the end it was up for 416. Especially because I'm a student :/ this included many others things I didn't ask for or agree to. They told me I should get the medicine and once I bought it, already mad they proceeded to tell me they gave medicine to my cat already? Also looking around at local vet prices compared to this one where it's much cheaper and honestly think I got a bit ripped off due to lack of knowledge and experience with animals. Also wondering if they're vegan? It'd be a bit odd for someone to be handling my pet while they eat other animals? Overall, found it okay but will be taking my pet elsewhere for future reference Read Less

My cat had an accident and was in great pain. I took him to this vet, the vet assistant was wearing flip-flops (so unprofessional) and the vet was more interested in how much money I had to treat the cat, he left the cat alone in the back room howling in pain while he grilled my husband and I on how we were going to pay(we have credit cards and/or could have paid cash/check) even though I was begging him to please help my cat. I just want to give a public kudos to Coast Meridian Animal Hospital for their kind, compassionate treatment of my fur baby in May. We had taken my cat to another local vet after 2 weeks of weight loss and weird behavior, which we thought was stress & jealousy because we had a 3 week old baby. They called the next day to deliver a very poor prognosis and in the early evening she took a turn for the worse when she had a seizure. We called that vet office, and they put us on hold to talk to the vet, who said they were going home shortly and they couldn't see us until the next day at 1145. I was very upset by this as we didn't want our cat to suffer unnecessarily. My husband called Coast Meridian Animal Hospital and they squeezed us in within an hour, stayed late to accommodate us, and were very respectful and compassionate as we said goodbye to our kitty. Dr Boretsky was thorough, answered our many questions, and gave us as much time as we needed despite them closing. He encouraged us to bring our other cat in for an annual check up, but was not pushy and told us to take our time and come in when we were ready. We absolutely will be returning back to the clinic and highly recommend them.Read Less

Unfortunately I had to make a hard decision the other day and put down a puppy that was born with a birth defect, I came in having no clue what to expect and the staff there were so calm with my dog and all the puppies. Extremely friendly and helpful staff! They keep their appointments spread out so you rarely (never in my case) have a full waiting room. Hours of operation are far more than most which allow for people who work during the day to actually stop in for supplies and/or appointments. Thank you! Read Less
