I love every vet here. All are warm and I am usually a basket case bringing in one of my cats. They are so calm and give me choices. My kitty was sick with hyper thyroid and kidney failure. With their support and guidance.. we got her over a year of quality of life. Sadly she passed 2 weeks ago at the Ironwood clinic. The vet was patient and warm and explained everything to me. I have been a client for over 30 years. HIGHLY and OFTEN recommend this OUTSTANDING clinic. As a exacting client I can say the vets there, including Dr. Art Ceballos, are very skilled, knowledgeable, honest, and compassionate. And thumbs up for every staff member. When they leave at night they are not looking at their financial bottom line for the day - they are looking at the pairs of shining eyes in the kennels recovering, healing, and waiting to go home to their families. They are ALL in this for YOUR pet! I lost my 14 year old Great Dane cross at the end of October 2015. We had all done everything possible to give him the absolute best quality of life for the last several years, but then there was an accident and there were no options left. Dr. Art had literally just arrived home from a family vacation 1 hour prior when I called him totally distraught at 7PM that night. He dropped everything and immediately drove out and opened the clinic up to put my boy to rest. Not two months later my 16 year old pit cross decided it was his time also, New Years Eve Day 2015. I made the appointment for later that day. Dr. Art greeted me at the door, on his day off, his family in tow, and once again helped me let my boy go. HE CAME IN ON HIS DAY OFF FOR US!!!! This was the dog for whom the SPCA had given 6 months to live when I adopted him - but Seafair and I gave him 6 1/2 years of excellent quality of life. Boo was a true testament to the quality care this clinic provides. I adopt the dogs no one else wants - they have to be either MEDICAL or MENTAL - and Dr. Art and all of his staff have NEVER shied away from anything I have ever brought in, and I have owned some pretty rank dogs over the years. They are willing to put in as much effort, time, and dedication as you are, if not more! If you want an absolutely kick ass medical team for your pet go here. If you Listen and Learn, they will really help you become a better pet guardian. Dr. Art is a fabulous teacher and I never stopped learning from my experiences with him. He is easy to talk to, willing to listen to your observations, ideas, and experiences, and will suggest a mutually acceptable game plan. There is NO ego involved, just a competent confidence, a genuine concern for your pet, and a commitment to do right by them. I have had some very medically complicated dogs and Dr. Art has never hesitated to say "I don't know what this is" or "I just don't have the equipment to diagnose this" and has always referred me to specialists or hospitals that could. I have been bringing my pets to this clinic for years and I find the service and the staff very professional and helpful. There are occasionally new hires or students, who may not be as knowledgeable, but this doesn't mean the customer service isn't still of high calibre. Dr. Art Ceballos is the best veterinarian I have ever met and I trust all the medical advice he gives me. He is very thorough with explaining any diagnoses and treatment plan and I am happy to have found such a wonderful doctor for my pets. Read Less

Brought my cat here because it had been recommended by several people. Vet was running 45 minutes late, and when I finally saw her she seemed flustered and confused. Did hundreds of dollars of tests and no results. Staff was rude and disorganized. Clinic looked run down and dirty. I wish I could rate this zero stars. Read Less

I would never recommend this place to anyone. We had such poor experiences here. The customer service is horrendous. Half of the staff don't know much about the animals or conditions they present with- which makes getting any information difficult unless you are directly speaking with one of the vets. Also if they aren't trying to sell you on numerous things for your pets health. Read Less

Dr. Art Ceballos is the most unprofessional vet my family and I have ever dealt with. We have brought our dog there on numerous occasions and have had generally good service, until this past week. Our dog needed an ultra sound done and was quoted by front desk originally about the price range. Upon reconfirming the price range with Dr. Lackner, we were quoted a higher price range than what Dr. Fisher had originally said, and once we told Lackner that, she had asked us to confirm the price with front desk instead. No problem still, front desk quoted us $380 in the end, which was similar to what Dr. Fisher had said originally. Upon hearing that we gladly committed to bring our dog in. After ONE WEEK, we received a phone call from the clinic, saying they actually misquoted us the price. At this point we were a little frustrated due to the back and forth of this situation. We asked by how much, if it was a reasonable amount then no problem, but to our surprise it was $100 more than quoted. We asked to speak to the owner of the business to discuss our options and that's when Dr. Ceballos took over. We asked him if he was willing to split the cost of the overage with us ($50/$50) since the clinic was the one that made the misquote after we already committed to bringing our dog in. He advised us there is nothing they "are willing to do because it's not like the ultra sound has already taken place". We stated our case that we were quoted 3 different amounts now and it has been frustrating for us and time consuming as a consumer and would appreciate it if they owned up to some of the cost. That's when Ceballos started personally attacking us, saying that we are trying to take advantage of them, and no way will they assume any of the costs. After back and forth on the phone we hung up and took our dog to another vet who charged us less and got it done immediately. Here is the kicker, the next day, we received A LETTER from the this place telling us to find another vet somewhere else. Please do yourselves a favor and never deal with this place especially "Dr" Ceballos. Honestly, the rest of the staff is great and helpful, it's unfortunate the owner's ego precedes his ability to run a business. Read Less
