What can I say. I've been coming to Eagleview for probably near 10 years. My dogs have received nothing less than fantastic, appropriate care. While we usually see Dr Armstrong or Dr Mountifield, we have complete confidence in all the staff here. I met Dr Mountifield several years ago on an after hours emergency call when our dog Brody became suddenly ill, and while we lost him in the night, I know he received the same care as Dr Mountifield would have given her own dogs. She has a kind compassionate approach that instills such confidence. After today's visit I left with the same feeling of my dog having that same level of care, without unnecessary surgery or procedures. We have been taking our dogs to Eagleview for about 3 years now. Dr. Armstrong is one of the best vets we have had. She is personable, knows what she is talking about, and explains it in a way that does not leave you feeling left in the dark. Our dogs have had multiple issues where one has had to be left in their care for multiple days and nights. We found out after one major incident that Dr. Armstrong even brought our dog home with her to make sure she had the proper care. I cannot speak highly enough about the level of care given. I do not feel that we have been overcharged at any point. When compared to a number of other veterinarians we have dealt with in the past, They are more than fair with their pricing. I would recomend this veterinary to anyone that wants the best for their pet.Read Less

We had a first experience with our cats a few months ago and felt that they had received adequate care so decided to return. One was found to have a heart murmur then and it was recommended that we come back to see if it had worsened. The other had a growth on his toe. We saw a different vet this time and we left feeling deflated and like we received was vapid. She listened to the one's heart beat and concurred that there was a murmur. She felt that it was a 3 whereas the other vet said it was a 2, which to our minds had meant that it had worsened. She said perhaps but it could be subjective.... okay.... no real guidance there. She mumbled on about how we could have cardiology work done for a hefty sum, have to go back in 6-12 months and that there may be something that they can do about it, maybe not.... She said it could be a couple of things and couldn't remember the name for one of them. We had returned upon the recommendation of the first vet we had seen so felt that we has been let down and either misguided or inappropriately treated. If the difference could have been subjective, shouldn't it have been recommended that we see the same health care provider as the first time? She inspected the other's toe and gave us no conclusive diagnostic on that one either... Maybe a cut, maybe cancer... We paid 120.00 for the 20 minute visit and left feeling uncared for. Any healthcare provider should be able to offer clear information, remember the names of health issues or at least take the time to look them up and instill a sense of confidence. Sadly, we left with none of those feelings. We will be looking for another vet.Read Less

The care and compassion that the staff give at this Vet are above and beyond.....Melanie Armstrong saved my dog several years ago and now my daughters kitty both times were after hours and on a holiday. We've brought in our rescue dog, Keeper, more than a few times since we were lucky enough to receive him in early 2011. The Vets at Eagleview are nothing short of amazing. They are kind, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, and they take the time to do what is necessary to make a proper diagnosis. The rest of the staff at EVH is excellent, too.
