We brought our little cat Mousker here since 2006 when we moved to White Rock. Very good care as she aged, did not overcharge for things that were not necessary. Treated her thyroid and kidney problems with special food and medication. Doctors are thorough and professional, staff are friendly and compassionate. We recently had to have our Mousker euthanized at 19 years of age, and the doctors and staff at North Bluff were there for us all the way. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Read Less

I was extremely grateful for both Randy and Dr. Kaler. My dog got injured on a sunday evening and I, stupidly, took him to the closest vet that was open. That vet turned out to do a terrible job and I was beyond unimpressed. I took my dog to North Bluff Animal Hospital a few days later when his body was having a negative reaction to the drain tubes and sutures. Over the next few weeks, I took my dog in every few days for them to take a look at him and do what they could without opening him back up. A week or so later, Randy made the call to open him back up as things were not healing properly. I am so thankful that he made that call as my dog was necrotic. After going through the procedure properly, my boy was healed in a week. Both Randy and Dr. Kaler were both staying up to date on his case every time we came in. They never pushed anything on me and didn't want to do anything - like another surgery - unless they felt it was absolutely necessary. I was extremely happy and fully trusted both of them. I now continue to take this dog, as well as my new puppy, to North Bluff Animal Hospital. Read Less

My 3 dogs were on the Dr Kaylor's patients starting 18 years ago. Throughout all this time my dogs received excellent care. He saved Dharma's life once when he got food poisoning. Dr Kaylor does not keep the dogs in his clinic for an excessive amount of time running up your bill. My last dog if 18 years old now and Dr Kaylor has been very realistic in terms of appropriate treatment for him. Thank you, Dr Kaylor for all the excellent care my companions have received throughout the years.

Dr. Kaler has been our family Veterinarian for many years. He always finds that balance between good care for our pets and managing the costs of pet care. He was sensitive to the type of pet owners we were. When we moved to Vancouver a few years ago we chose another vet. They sold us all kinds of tests and treatments and nothing helped. We finally decided to take our dear Sara (Golden) back and made the hour drive. Totally worth it. Diagnosed the problem by just probing her with his hands. No $500 ultrasounds etc. He helped us keep her comfortable and happy till she passed away this week. Dr. Kaler and his team are just plain wonderful. On her first visit back after 3 years, Sara actually put her paw on his knee in recognition. Now that is care! Read Less
