I would NOT recommend this outfit.
It's about the money for Scottsdale Veterinary hospital and definitely not about your animals health. They require a deposit or partial payment at the time of the appt. This sounds like a scam. If you can't make the appt. even if it's for an emergency they make sure they get your money. Been a customer for many years but have not needed a doctor for the last 8 years. This time they want money upfront despite my plea as being a good customer and never causing any administrative burden to them. No previous emails or mail or phone calls regarding their "new policy".I told them in no way would I pay first. Heidi hung up on me.

This vet office is great have had animals for many years found the expertise with the doctors and staff very friendly and knowledgeable they are great with cats and dogs. Expensive but so worth it.

I used to travel quite a distance to Guilford animal hospital. The excellent Dr. there retired a few years ago. I decided to try Scottsdale and found the experience to be top notch.
The Dr. and assistant couldn't have done a better job and very surprised to see the service performed for literally half of the price of Guilford.
I highly recommend Scottsdale Veterinary!

They were so kind and gentle with my bunny. I'm so thankful that they were able to see him so quickly, and they were very thorough in treating him. The staff loved him and treated us both very well. The place was clean and easy to access by public transit, although there's a parking lot for those who drive as well. Highly recommended.

When my 4 month old puppy ate rat poison, we were sent to Scottsdale for the treatment. He was in hospital for 4 days, and we had to come back multiple times a week for 4 weeks after his initial stay....
When my 4 month old puppy ate rat poison, we were sent to Scottsdale for the treatment. He was in hospital for 4 days, and we had to come back multiple times a week for 4 weeks after his initial stay. The staff at Scottsdale were so amazing, they worked tirelessly to ensure he had the best care. He never developed a fear of the vet, and he was absolutely ecstatic every time we walked in the door.
They made a horrible and traumatic time in our lives manageable; not once did I worry he wasn't getting the absolute best treatment or care.

Possibly the only veterinary clinic around that actually cares about your animals. No matter which Dr we make an appointment with they have always treated our pets as their own. They are thorough and caring, unlike many other vet clinics around that either don't care enough or are mistreating of your animal. Would definitely highly recommend to any animal owner, and I do so any time somebody asks for a recommended vet.

Exceptional care, compassion and empathy for animals. I made a very difficult decision yesterday to say goodbye to a very good friend and the staff was more than accommodating to the situation. Every detail and every option was gone over allowing me to make an informed and proper decision. He passed peacefully and without pain, his suffering ended as hard as it was to say goodbye. Dr. Armstrong was more than amazing and I can't thank her enough.

Exceptional care, compassion and empathy for animals. I made a very difficult decision yesterday to say goodbye to a very good friend and the staff was more than accommodating to the situation. He passed peacefully and without pain, his suffering ended as hard as it was to say goodbye. Dr. Armstrong was more than amazing and I can't thank her enough. the staff and service was fine, but having a dispute about the charges... the lady at the desk raises her hand and shouts out "EVERYONE HERE IS A WITNESS, HE REFUSES TO PICK UP HIS CATS REMAINS" and when i ask why would she be so rude and shout out like that, she said it was a "legal matter". it doesnt matter whats going on, that is extremely unprofessional and could never recommend a place like that...my2cents

My dog Indy recently had 2 TPLO surgeries (and many other problems) over the past year, and I just wanted to say thank you to Scottsdale Vet for providing Indy with the best possible care. Thank you Dr. Armstrong for taking the time to explain all of Indy's medications, surgeries and recovery needs to me, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks to the vet technicians and reception staff who answered my 10,000 phone calls and who now know both Indy and I by name, so I don't even have to go to the front desk to check in. I'll be a lifetime client for sure.

Thank you so much Dr Chris and the vet staff for your excellent service. Chris you were so wonderful with our new furbaby Rufus yesterday. Thank you for making Rufus' vet experience so fabulous. After going through 2 TPLO surgeries and having stressful vet visits previously, Rufus was won over completely by the attention from Chris and from the treats. Chris was so calm and patient with Rufus and he shone! Thank you, thank you. Silky loves you too!

the staff and service was fine, but having a dispute about the charges... the lady at the desk raises her hand and shouts out "EVERYONE HERE IS A WITNESS, HE REFUSES TO PICK UP HIS CATS REMAINS" and when i ask why would she be so rude and shout out like that, she said it was a "legal matter". it doesnt matter whats going on, that is extremely unprofessional and could never recommend a place like that...my2cents

My dog Indy recently had 2 TPLO surgeries (and many other problems) over the past year, and I just wanted to say thank you to Scottsdale Vet for providing Indy with the best possible care. Thank you Dr. Armstrong for taking the time to explain all of Indy's medications, surgeries and recovery needs to me, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks to the vet technicians and reception staff who answered my 10,000 phone calls and who now know both Indy and I by name, so I don't even have to go to the front desk to check in. I'll be a lifetime client for sure.

our Chihuahua, jada was spayed here and they did such a good job! from the beginning when they took her in and explained the entire procedure to me to the follow-up phone call and the day we got the stitches out. no infection, practically no scarring, they did a great job. we will be taking our new puppy here for sure after these awesome results. thanks for taking such good care of my baby :)

After going through 2 TPLO surgeries and having stressful vet visits previously, Rufus was won over completely by the attention from Chris and from the treats. Chris was so calm and patient with Rufus and he shone! Thank you, thank you. Silky loves you too!
