Dr. Mahdi, Tanya and Elle have been a great help to my kitten and I over the past few months. Dr. Mahdi has seen my kitten multiple times for various symptoms of illness and is very thorough in his examinations; he also does his best to avoid me spending extra money unless it is necessary, always providing me with options that are non-invasive / cautionary measures. They were very kind when my CC wouldn't go through one time, and let me pay at a later date as I tried to sort it out. Even with pet insurance, they are very understanding and don't overcharge me because I have insurance. This has made it less stressful paying up front while I try to sort out my claims with the insurance company. They send me all the medical records on request and answer questions or concerns I have over the phone. Just today Dr. Mahdi made the call to get my kitten to an emergency hospital and set up the visit right away. I wasn't charged for his examination. Thank you so much for everything! Though we still don't know why my kitten keeps getting sick, I appreciate all your kindness, care and patience. Everyone here has been amazing to my kitten and I cannot thank them enough. Read Less

I took my cat in to be checked out. Although the vet and assistant were very friendly and kind to him, and the vet seemed to know what she was talking about, things went bad as they tried to get a blood sample. I urged them to try to get a blood sample (without anaesthetic) when I could see that my cat was nervous - which I admit was poor judgement on my part. I recoiled in horror as they tried too pick up my 16lb senior old cat by the scruff of his neck! Of course this completely enraged him and even CHOKED him! He was YOWLING and screaming as they tried to hold him, and retching when they stopped. It was TRAUMATIZING seeing a cat that I love so much being hurt like that. I really question my judgement now, but I let them take him to another room to try for the blood sample. I asked them not to grab his neck because he didn't seem to like it. In the room he yowled and made noises I have never even heard. The assistant afterwards told me they do that to release chemicals to calm cats down. Oh REALLY? I never want to go through that again. I never want my cat to go through that again. The more I think about it, the worse I feel about the experience. I don't know if holding a cat by the scruff is standard or not, but it was clear that my cat was suffering as they did it and they didn't stop. Read Less
