Dr. Cropper and team have been my go to vet since I was a kid. The entire team has never failed to give incredible care and service to myself and my cats. Dr. Cropper is an incredibly talented vet who strives to advance and perfect treatment for domestic pets. He always takes extra precautions and I trust every suggestion he makes regarding care for my cats. On top of that his team is amazing, I cannot say enough about them, especially Natalie who has been at this location for well over a decade. The care, compassion, and genuine love I see them give my cats means the absolute world to me. Read Less

I have rarely wanted to go online and write any type of bad review. I completely understand the impact that it may have. But I went to Dr. Cropper a couple months ago for my dog that was throwing up blood and bile. He charged the regular high fee and did a pancreas test. He sent me home and said my dog had mild pancreatitis. Later on we sent our dog to another Vet on the north shore and they immediately did a complete lab test and were in shock at dog's condition. They said if dog was human it would be in ICU. Our dog's pancreas levels were almost 2000 and pancreas was about to rupture. Now with complete information and understanding we move ahead with lots of information on our dogs condition. I did my research and Dr. Cropper did not even check his Pancreas levels, instead charged us for a test that shows abnormal or normal. Our dog was abnormal according to test and he did no further tests. This seems to be a waste of money as you have to know what levels dog is at. Ours was at 2000 which is fatal. Dr Cropper may use outdated tests and his methods and concern was not effective. He told me day of visit if emergency on Sunday call a specific clinic. I was completely shocked as I would expect him to tell us to call him. Reviews are completely deceiving and if I were to go else where from beginning I would of saved my dog major health issues from deteriorating and spending a lot more money. By the way, after calling Hollyburn Vet Clinic and speaking with the super friendly staff, Dr. Cropper never called once to ask our dog's situation. Read Less

I have been going to Dr. Cropper with my pets since I was a little girl. I think by now I have been a client for almost 15 years. He and his incredible staff are the kindest, most accommodating people I have ever met. I trust them entirely with my animals in any situation. I have never had a single issue with them from billings to surgeries and highly recommend Hollyburn Vet to anyone I know who owns a fur baby. Read Less

Dr. Cropper is great, even calling us on vacation to follow up with our dog when he had an ongoing injury. Best vet I've ever had, takes time to listen, explain, help and follow up.

Our guinea pig Lucy was in need of medical care when a piece of hay scratched her eye and caused some swelling and an infection. We found Dr. Cropper through a friend who's known him for many years. She takes her own pets to see him, and assured us that he has plenty of experience (30+ years), including extensive knowledge of small animals. She also said he's very practical and honest, and never does nor pushes to do more than what's needed. Dr. Cropper was exactly as my friend described, and we're so thankful to have met him. When I initially called the office, it was Dr. Cropper's day off, but his staff got a hold of him and called me back with instructions to pick up Polysporin eyedrops, and give Lucy three drops per day. I was so grateful to Dr. Cropper for so kindly offering phone advice without having seen Lucy (none of the other vets I called would do this). At our visit, Dr. Cropper was kind, gentle, and patient as he thoroughly examined Lucy. My kids and I felt immediately at ease and found him to be very friendly and easy to talk to. We went back today for a one-week follow-up, and Lucy was given the all-clear! Generously, Dr. Cropper said this second appointment was no charge. During both of our visits, we saw dogs, cats, and even an elderly hamster named Miso come and go with their owners. Everyone seemed relaxed, grateful and happy. Clearly, Dr. Cropper and his staff are very much trusted and provide top-notch care. We're his newest fans, and would not hesitate to recommend him to care for any of your pets. Read Less

I already posted this review under Neil Cropper, the name of the Veterinarian at Hollyburn, I thought I would copy it here, in case someone searches the business name... I had an embarrassing canine dilemma, and despite throwing lots of money and time his way, my vet could not offer a solution. I called around, and Dr. Cropper said he had experience with the situation, so we made an appointment. Hollyburn Clinic is a small and not too modern facility, but the service is great. My dog loved Dr. Cropper, unusual, since she usually cowers and shakes the moment we enter an exam room. He prescribed a medication that has solved the problem, and even phoned to see how it was working/remind me to pick up more if it was. Usually a vet tech or secretary does that? No, this guy actually makes the call himself. What a gem. Read Less
