4-5 years ago my boyfriend and I brought in our pet hamster who had a tumour, and ultimately we knew was going to need to be put to sleep. Hamsters can sometimes be treated as disposable pets in a way, people don’t think of them as a pet people bond with, but I loved this little guy so dearly as he was the only pet I could have in our apartment building. The vet here was the most intensely compassionate man I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He didn’t make us feel silly for being so heartbroken, and even though we weren’t clients at the time he told us if we needed more time he wouldn’t charge us to return on another day to have it done, to make sure we had the time even if money would have been an issue. Now later in life, we have two cats, and I bring them here because I know that these people care about the clients and the animals, and although with Covid we can’t go in the room, I feel safe knowing they will take incredible care of our pets. They even called after our kitten was settled at home after his overnight surgery to make sure he was doing well. Amazing amazing staff, would recommend this vet to anyone.

Been here a handful if times throughout the years. Good vet and staff. They've helped me out before and gotten us in on short notice. They seem like they genuinely care and don't want to charge people...

i have recently meaning the last six months changed vets mostly due to cost, and not connecting with the changes within my previous clinic. I chose sunridge because of there cost to neuter one of my cats. The lady on the phone nice , friendly and informative. i was impressed on how much lower they were on neutering compared to others i called around Vernon and area.

Our cat was sick and we phoned on a Sunday. Since we were not a client of theirs, they would not see our cat. That tells me they are not compassionate about animals. Really sad to see that. This is my opinion and hopefully this is not the norm. By the way, we phoned the Vernon Clinic and he met with us within 15 minutes and our cat is better now. Now there is an animal lover.

I can't speak to the quality of the interpersonal or veterinary service at this clinic because I haven't been there in person. However, when I was phoning around vets in Vernon to see if anyone had brought in my missing cat they were the only place that offered to take my name and number and let me know if they came across anything. I appreciated that very much.

They went out of their way to help in an an after hours emergency.In the weeks following, they showed great care and compassion.We couldn't have asked for better care for our cat.

I was extremely disappointed with the professionalism and services provided by Sunridge Vet Clinic. Our final bill had numerous unexpected costs which were not clearly outlined by the vet ($60 to shave a small strip of fur that took maybe 45 seconds?!).
The receptionist, Louise, is exceptionally uncourteous and downright rude. Definitely lacking social tact.
Very, very disappointed with our experience here.

I was extremely disappointed with the professionalism and services provided by Sunridge Vet Clinic. Our final bill had numerous unexpected costs which were not clearly outlined by the vet ($60 to shave a small strip of fur that took maybe 45 seconds?!).The receptionist, Louise, is exceptionally uncourteous and downright rude. NOT is right.....we used to go to Vernon Vet on Kalamalka Road, but changed when we moved and got gift certificates for Sunridge. As many times as we went to Sunridge, and as many hundreds of dollars that we spent there, they never recognized us when we went in. This isn't a big town. Anyhoo, the doc is great. The front desk matron, however, needs to find another line of work. Describing her as rude would be a compliment. The doc said that we aren't the first client to mention it, either. We will drive the extra distance, and are going back to Vernon Vet. Great docs AND great people!
