Very disappointed in this vet clinic. Very rude and unprofessional front reception...they refused to send over necessary vet documents to my current vet, and on several occasions trashed talked other vet establishments in the area. I was also unimpressed with Dr. Wilson...she is not thourough during health exams, and misdiagnosed my dogs skin condition...would not recommend to anyone. Read Less

I have had 2 dogs served by Dr. Liz since 1998. She has competent staff and is an amazing vet. Very thorough and caring, she is cautious and prudent in prescribing meds and treatment. Highly recommend this clinic! Read Less

When our cat was spayed she would flip out if we tried to put any sort of cone on her and had licked at her incision while we were arranging for another solution. It looked irritated so we called and they got her in to see the vet the next day, gave her a checkup and prescribed a light antibiotic just in case, all for free! Great people, always very understanding and polite on the phone if you have questions and looking out for your pets best interests. Read Less

They botched my dogs spaying operation and left my dog in extreme pain. They made two incisions and denied it when I brought it to their attention. I also found the staff to be very rude when I calmly voiced my concerns. After having this terrible experience I have spoken with several others who have had similar encounters with this vet. This has to be the best Veterinary Clinic that we have ever taken our pet to and over the years with living on an acreage and having many pets we have encountered a lot of Vets. We took our very sick year old cat in to see Liz and within minutes she knew exactly what was wrong with him and took him on as an emergency. Liz managed to pull him through and get him on a healing path, and it was touch and go a few times but she is so passionate & committed. I have never experienced such dedication, she even came in at 11:30 pm each night to check on him. Without Liz's expertise we would not have Mr. T today. If you are looking for a compassionate and caring clinic for your pet Broadmead Village Veterinary Clinic is the best I have ever experienced. PS My son's Old English Bulldog wandered away one evening, we spent hrs looking for him concerned that he would be picked up or hit by a vehicle, after checking FB we found that someone from BVVC had found him wandering down the ramp to the highway, stopped and pick him up and took him back to the Vet's Clinic. They've been so kind and helpful with our two cats. We adopted a kitten who later was found to have parasites (and gave them to our other cat) and they were very helpful throughout her treatment. Our kitten needs eye surgery (she was missing an eye when we adopted her) and they've been very good about letting us know what the procedure will be like and how to prepare her for it and how to help her recover.Read Less

A great, reality-based clinic that will do the right thing for your pet. Knowing these people and their level of care and education, I find it frustrating to see negative reviews by people who clearly don't understand precautions vs contraindications, couldn't define a covalent bond or any other aspect of chemistry, assume if a patient died during surgery that that means surgeons dont help people, they kill people, or think they themselves have the skill to determine if an injury would have "healed naturally when staph or strep was suspected. The receptionist is incredibly rude! Very lacking in customer service skills and passive aggressive for absolutely no reason. My experience here was terrible, my questions were not answered. They couldn't be bothered to explain what vaccinations were needed for my two cats and why. They did not calmly greet the cats first even if they were clearly afraid. I did not feel this clinic to be a nice environment for my pets. Kindred spirits vet clinic is the way to go! Read Less

Came in for the first time with my kitten under a friends recommendation also brought my six month old baby ........BIG MISTAKE very unwelcoming.  Asked to use restroom as little one was quite stinky and agitated was told they didn't have a washroom for public use that I could walk across the parking lot in the pouring rain with kitten and little one and use the thriftys bathroom after that I said I would find a different vet because in my opinion if you don't extend common courtesy to people I don't want you near my pet........maybe they only deal with a certain clientele Read Less

Dr. Wilson over medicated my dog while he was in her care without my consent or even advising me when discharging my dog. I was presented with the bill that among other things contained $55 Convenia. Only when I asked I was explained that it was antibiotic for suspected skin infection. My dog had few little scratches on his legs which were resolving on their own and did NOT needed antibiotic injected in his body and also injected without my permission. This is long-lasting antibiotic  that takes 65 days for the body to clear. In the same bill she included NSAIDs  to give it to my dog. She was NOT aware that there is a precaution about using Convenia and NSAIDs, which could result in adverse reaction. I can only imagine how many dogs were harmed by Dr. Wilson. Read Less
