Located in the beautiful Tuscany Village at the corner of Shelbourne Street and McKenzie Avenue, Shelbourne Pet Clinic continues to serve pets and their owners with the best in veterinary care. Beware!!!!
Dr Don Wilson at this clinic gave my cat all her vaccines between her shoulders, which I later learned has been an outdated practice since the 1990s because of the risk of developing a tumour at the vaccine site. Vaccines are now done only on places that can be amputated in case a cancerous tumour does develop (like the tail or lower leg). Sure enough, my cat did develop a tumour at the vaccine site, and because cancer between her shoulders would be a death sentence, she had to have the tumour removed immediately. It was benign, but the surgery cost me thousands of dollars (and was very traumatic for my cat),
and could have been completely avoided if Dr Wilson had simply followed procedure and given her the vaccines in her tail.

My cat and I made our first visit to see Dr. Wilson on September 13 and we both came away from our appointment happy and satisfied that we found the perfect veterinary clinic. Dr. Wilson is amazing with a firm handshake and good eye contact. I liked him immediately, as did our cat. Dr. Wilson explains everything in layman terms. He's friendly and helpful. Great with handling our cat. He reminded me of the way professionals behave in old time TV series. Polite and respectful with a good bedside manner. If you think this sounds too good to be true, go see for yourself. I know you won't be sorry you did. The front desk staff were also great. I received a follow up phone call, asking how our cat was doing after his vaccinations. I'm happy.

I went to this clinic when my regular vet could not see my pet quickly. I was so impressed by the friendly and professional services I received that I have switched to this clinic as my regular vet. Dr. Wilson is amazing and his staff go above and beyond for both the pets and their people. I highly recommend the clinic and Dr. Wilson to anyone who wants the best care for their furry family members.

Caring with your pet, but firm to make sure the job gets done, and efficient when completing check ups, because every pet owner wants to make sure that they find out if anything is wrong with their little furry friend.

Beware!!!!
Dr Don Wilson at this clinic gave my cat all her vaccines between her shoulders, which I later learned has been an outdated practice since the 1990s because of the risk of developing a tumour at the vaccine site. I went to this clinic when my regular vet could not see my pet quickly. I was so impressed by the friendly and professional services I received that I have switched to this clinic as my regular vet. Dr. Wilson is amazing and his staff go above and beyond for both the pets and their people.
