I wrote a review three years ago and I went to see if the review is still here. It has been removed so I am not sure about the Yelp policy that reviews cannot be removed. It was. I highly recommend not going to this vet. Our dog's trachea was damaged during a teeth cleaning procedure and he was never the same after that. Lung infections, breathing issues and his bark changing were significant issues. He recently died and we are not sure if wasn't from the numerous lung infections he got over the last three years. It appeared this infection did him in. I will check back and see if this review gets deleted like the last one. Read Less

Dr. Sandhu and his colleagues at the West Vancouver Vetrinary Hospital are beyond amazing. Our senior golden retriever required a lot of care in her later years, and Dr. Sandhu handled everything with the utmost respect and love. Dr. Sandhu and his team offered the highest quality of care and compassion for our pet. We required care and boarding for our senior, special needs dog upon moving to Vancouver. It was difficult to find a clinic that worked to support the special needs of a senior dog. Dr. Sandhu is absolutely amazing. I had a slight panic attack when he all of a sudden had left his old clinic and had to learn through google that he moved all the way to West Vancouver. Trust me, Sunshine Plaza Animal Hospital was not the same once Dr. Sandhu had left. I live about 2 mins away from Sunshine Plaza but I still make a 30-45 min trip to West Van just to have him take a look at my two dogs. The prices are fairly high but seeing as it is in West Vancouver it is understandable (people need to make a profit here!).
