I have been a client for about ten years. During that time, we've gone through several complicated surgeries (a parathyroid tumor removal), the emergency death of one dear puppy, and the expected death of my dear Daisy last year. Invariably, the staff have been wonderful, kind, and knowledgeable. And my daughter thanks Dr. Klug for being such a good friend to our pets every time we visit.

We’e been taking our pets to Selkirk Veterinary Services for several years now. Our experiences have always been met with kindness and professionalism from ALL staff.
My saddest memory will forever be the evening we had to say goodbye to one of our furry family members.The absolute kindness we were gifted with at such a time of sadness made me realize that this is is such a great group of truly caring and kind individuals. We had phone calls and emails from both Dr.Penner and Dr. Klug during this difficult time and I will always be grateful for their genuine concern.
We’ve had many animals that have visited the clinic. A guinea pig, two rats, bearded dragon and now the two new loves of our lives our two rescue dogs. Every time we’re there, we feel grateful for the patience, caring and understanding we get from the minute we enter the clinic.
Whenever someone asks were I take my animals I always pass along the phone number!

Terrible vet,unprofessional, horrible bedside manner will try and extort money out of you any way she can. Will not fess up to mistakes makes an appearance that she knows it all, condescending and to boot almost killed my dog doing a simple neutering procedure. Receptionist’s stood gossiping around front desk about other people and pets without a care who was in the wait room. Do not take your pet have heard numerous other horror stories in the community.

Super friendly staff, very competent vets. Had a cat spayed their and couldn't be happier with the results. Best price I could find in and around the city, and the cat was happy and ready to run around as soon as it got home. Wish they were closer, I'd never go anywhere else if they were, but absolutely worth the trip for major visits.

Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Klug. We have bunnies and its extremely difficult to find a knowledgable vet who knows much about them. Not only do they have the equipment for small critters but she has extensive knowledge and experience in treating them and has always cared for them as if they were her own. We've had to travel down some difficult roads with her with some unique health issues and she has been nothing short of amazing. Will continue bringing our sweet furry loves to her. I blame them for the death of my ferret. This vet (Klug) had NO CLUE what she was doing with my ferret. He had 2 very, VERY common diseases for ferrets but she could not figure it out. Instead of refe...
I blame them for the death of my ferret. This vet (Klug) had NO CLUE what she was doing with my ferret. He had 2 very, VERY common diseases for ferrets but she could not figure it out. Instead of referring me she tried to guess and gave him messed up treatment. I trusted her with his LIFE . She could not even say "I don't know. Let me pull out a text book OR refer you" instead she let my pet die a slow, painful death. He died SCREAMING in pain in my arms one morning after fighting a disease he could have had less severely had he had proper treatment. I trusted a trained professional to do all she could, and that includes admitting she doesn't know and sending me to someone she does. Do NOT trust this woman with your pet and certainly not your exotics.

Dr. Klug and her staff performed an emergency trac on my golden retriever who was no longer breathing after swallowing tennis balls. I switched vets after the phenomenal care, compassion and follow up I received. I have never looked back. After 2 years, our experiences have remained positive, informative and helpful.

Terrible vet,unprofessional, horrible bedside manner will try and extort money out of you any way she can. Super friendly staff, very competent vets. Had a cat spayed their and couldn't be happier with the results. Best price I could find in and around the city, and the cat was happy and ready to run around as soon as it got home. Cannot say enough great things about Dr. Klug. We have bunnies and its extremely difficult to find a knowledgable vet who knows much about them. Not only do they have the equipment for small critters but she has extensive knowledge and experience in treating them and has always cared for them as if they were her own. I switched vets after the phenomenal care, compassion and follow up I received. I have never looked back. After 2 years, our experiences have remained positive, informative and helpful.
