My dog was bitten by a raccoon on the Saturday of a long weekend just before closing time and they made time not only to vaccinate my dog, but explain how to get the raccoon tested for rabies. On top of that, they provided all the materials I would need to collect the raccoon (at no charge). They also suggested that I store the raccoon at their facility so it wouldn't have to be in my freezer all weekend. Stellar service - thank you very much! Read Less

Not really understanding how it's cheaper here than in Winnipeg. Exam costs are still ~$60, and drugs seem similar too. Definitely wasn't worth the time and gas spent on driving all the way out there.Read Less

Ive been dealing with ol country vet since the late 90s and I recently too had an issue here that I not only considered rude and upsetting but is the reason ill never step in there doors again. I too was a great fan of the original owner. He cared for animals and there family's. I even brought a dog there i rescued from the trans Canada and he never charged me saying he wished more folks in the world would help animals. but when i took my PURE BREED Male KING SHEPARD there the vary snooty older receptionist and a younger chubbier one ive never met before (Tamera i think) got rude when i asked her to correct my dogs breed on his papers to King Shepard not German Shepard witch ARE 2 very different breeds of dog so that when i traveled across the U.S i wouldn't have issues since he is much much larger and different than a regular German Shepard having totally different traits and features. the receptionist stated that her friend raises German shepherds and there was no such thing as a king... i later stopped by with the Wikipedia papers on the king Shepard breed witch she refused to look at.. So all in all, yes there cheaper ,and the vet himself is very nice Man. but those 2 receptionists were the most rude and closed minded people ive meet in a vet clinic. even after i proved my dogs heritage she refused to correct the papers and wouldn't even apologize.. What ever happened to the kind man who loved people and animals... im so saddened to see that place turn to that. if the vet himself would like to speak to me about this i would be willing to speak to him in a non negative environment but calls to him are filtered by these receptionists and are never answered. im sure they can see this post and have my number in my file if they so wish to correct there issue. but im thinking they wont even take the time. im gonna miss this place but not the two unfriendly s answering the phones. Amazing caring service, Dr Grundell has always gone above and beyond expectations with our 2 huskies, would not consider taking them any where else. I have been going here regularly for a couple years now, but lately I have had to bring my puppy in multiple times for a bad infection. The staff has been extremely helpful and polite and took such good care of our puppy! I have brought my current dog and previous dog here and the trip from wpg is always worth it. Me/my dog always get a follow up call to see how everything is going. Let me start off my saying that, yes, vet prices here (medication, surgeries, exam fees, tests, etc.) are cheaper than in the city. The staff and docs are pleasant and polite, however, I would not recommend going here for medical emergencies. Reasons why I gave the clinic 3 stars is because: 1. The docs here don't seem to genuinely care about your pet compared to the hospitals' previous owner (David-I forgot his last name). Prices here are slightly higher since the change in ownership (still very affordable though). 2. That being said, from my own personal experience, I feel that the docs here don't seem as knowledgable and experienced as vet docs in the city. Ex: took my dog here two times for the same health condition, both times left with medications but no real reason why my dog was feeling the way she was. However, if you're on a budget, then yes, make the trip here. But if money is not an issue, I would recommend to go somewhere else in the city. Read Less

Clear spring animal clinic is by far the best clinic! I have been through minor to major issues including emergency surgeries, shots and neutering. They have been amazing with the love they show for my fur babies and their prices are extremely reasonable!!
