I’ve been bringing my pets here for years. Always greeted with a smile and outstanding service from day one. I’ve had high maintenance pets as well as low maintenance pets and all have been treated equally. I haven’t gone to any other clinics so I can’t compare, but I’m very happy with Pet Vet and their staff!

Staff members could take lessons on empathy! Rude on the phone, slandering other businesses. Veterinarians are great. But my rating is based on your front office workers. I do not agree with presenting an animal hospital with rude and judgemental people. Will never return here. You all were just uncomfortable to deal with and a regret going to Pet Vet.

I am an English bulldog breeder and so I need only the best vets that know the breed. I went through 9 vets before I found Petvet and I can't imagine ever going anywhere else again. They are honest and know their stuff! They love all my guys and make me feel like we are family. If you want to go somewhere that's not going to gouge you for thousands and is actually honest and caring, this is the place! I love my Petvet family!

We have been going to PetVet for years. I would recommend them to everyone. They can be trusted with your fur babies. Dr. Leeanne Bargen goes out of her way to make sure that you understand what is going on with your pet. She is so knowledgeable, luving, tender and caring!! And yes it’s worth the trip !! All the staff are kind and courteous...A big thanks to everyone there !!

I called the clinic ten minutes before they opened this morning (open at 9 am) and left a detailed message including my name, my dog's name and my contact info. (even though they already have it) because my dog was having horrible head tremors and I wanted to bring her in today. By noon, no-one had called me back so I called again, was put on hold and then forgotten about (a recurring pattern with their front desk staff). I obviously took my dog to a different vet (not my preference as her regular vet is there). They closed at 1 pm today and I still did not get a call back from them before closing.

Can't say enough good things about these people!! Our dog was seriously injured 15 minutes before closing time on a Friday night and they said to just bring her down and did emergency surgery on her...

I can't recommend them enough. They've taken excellent care of all my dogs, and are always happy to see us. The staff are all wonderful and friendly. I can always get in first thing if there's an emergency, and the prices are all so reasonable. (Ex: Some dental work that another vet had said would cost $900+ they said would be around $200.) They remember my dogs, by name, and greet them. If you need a vet, go with Pet Vet.

I was an utter wreck when I brought my papillon Toby in to get his teeth cleaning and extractions done (up all night crying) I was terrified about him being put under anesthesia. I had a zillion quest...
I was an utter wreck when I brought my papillon Toby in to get his teeth cleaning and extractions done (up all night crying) I was terrified about him being put under anesthesia. I had a zillion questions about the safety of the procedure and safety precautions that they take when they are under - they do everything by the book and better. Dr. McKague and all the staff never made me feel like an inconvenience or like I was crazy for being so scared and emotional and for asking my million questions. My dog is my baby. I did a chest Xray, EKG, and bloodwork before he was put under to give me some peace of mind and make sure he was safe to be put under and everything was healthy - yay! Between all the tests they did I got to spend time with Toby in the exam room, even when they gave him his pre-anesthesia meds. I held him until he fell asleep and then after all the tests came back normal he went in for his procedure. I gave them his favorite teddy bear to have after the procedure so he would have something familiar and comforting. I called twice throughout the procedure to check on him - I told you I was worried! - they told me he was doing really well and afterwards they even sent me a photo of him in recovery (with his teddy bear). I thought with all the tests they did that it would be WAY over $1000 but it was a few hundred below that which is also amazing. I live in Winnipeg now but still bring him to Steinbach Pet Vet because they are the best, so caring and Dr. McKague is REALLY good. Next time he has to have his teeth cleaned I won't be SO worried. I definitely recommend getting all the pre-procedure tests done!!! and I highly recommend this vet

Fantastic vet, definitely worth the trip from Winnipeg. Their rates are very reasonable and they provide free advice over the phone to save you the drive to see them. Getting vaccinations done for my dog there was about 1/3 the cost of having it done in Winnipeg. They were recommended to us by family friends and we now recommend them to all our friends who are looking for a vet.
They have always been on time, no more than a minute or two of waiting, and they take the time for a proper examination.

The staff at Pet Vet exudes knowledge, and compassion balanced perfectly. Their personal touch shows how much they love what they do, and how much they truly do want the best for your pet. I have been taking my dog to them for 8 years and am continuously impressed and quite happy with their skill, competency and compassion, particularly that of Dr.Leeanne Bargen. Their costs are quite reasonable too, and they work with the pet owner towards the better health of your furry loved one.

I’ve been bringing my pets here for years. Always greeted with a smile and outstanding service from day one. I’ve had high maintenance pets as well as low maintenance pets and all have been treated equally. I haven’t gone to any other clinics so I can’t compare, but I’m very happy with Pet Vet and their staff!

I am an English bulldog breeder and so I need only the best vets that know the breed. I went through 9 vets before I found Petvet and I can't imagine ever going anywhere else again. They are honest and know their stuff! They love all my guys and make me feel like we are family. If you want to go somewhere that's not going to gouge you for thousands and is actually honest and caring, this is the place! I love my Petvet family!

I called the clinic ten minutes before they opened this morning (open at 9 am) and left a detailed message including my name, my dog's name and my contact info. (even though they already have it) because my dog was having horrible head tremors and I wanted to bring her in today. Fantastic vet, definitely worth the trip from Winnipeg. Their rates are very reasonable and they provide free advice over the phone to save you the drive to see them. Getting vaccinations done for my dog there was about 1/3 the cost of having it done in Winnipeg. They were recommended to us by family friends and we now recommend them to all our friends who are looking for a vet.

The staff at Pet Vet exudes knowledge, and compassion balanced perfectly. Their personal touch shows how much they love what they do, and how much they truly do want the best for your pet.
