No updates for regular patients on move or letting them know when appts are needed? I loved going here but my dog is my life and I keep all his shots and paperwork organized on my end. But you guys have made it hard on me not keeping me reminded and sometimes not giving me correct paperwork with whats been done each time.

There's something not right about this place. My cat was diagnosed by another vet as having oral cancer. Yet when I came here for a second opinion, all they told me was that for $1,200, they could get her teeth in shipshape. Later, a third vet confirmed the first vet's diagnosis. Maybe Dr. Drain just likes to drain bank accounts first before giving the correct diagnosis? Not sure but I won't go back.

This animal hospital is ok, but in the 4 years that I have been taking my dog here there has been a complete turnover of all the vets. The staff care about animals but a little more flexibility, compassion, and common sense in enforcing their rules would be helpful. I called the hospital the last week of April 2017 and indicated I would be picking up medication (for prevention for mosquito and tick diseases). The receptionist indicated that this would be no problem, I could pick it up the first week of May.
When I went in to pick the medication I was told I would have to bring my dog in for a $100 annual wellness exam- (expensive) before I could pick up the medication. This is because my dogs last exam was April 23, 2016 and a exam is required yearly. I was not told this on the phone, if I had known this I would have picked up the medication earlier. There was no offer to reduce the wellness exam fee even though some other vets in the area charge much less. I note that my dog must have a rabies shot (required by law) in October. I would be happy to pay for a wellness exam then.
I have supported this clinic bringing my dog in for various issues and have gotten recommended care as needed. I could use a little understanding and consideration on this issue because of time constraints and other issues I am facing. The staff response was disappointing. They did not discuss this issue with me and said I could take this issue up with the veterinary board. I left without commenting on this.

Dr Drain has taken great care of our French bulldog Wally and she has given us excellent advice throughout his life that has made things so much better for him. She and the other vets we have seen there and at their sister hospital South Glen have always been very caring, and always make a follow up call after an appointment to ensure Wally is feeling okay. Dr. Sea actually performed the c-section to birth our Wally as well!

We love it at Best Friends Animal Hospital! One of our dogs has a lot of health issues and has for his whole life. We found the best solution for his allergies with this clinic, after years of issues and trying different things. They have been very attentive in his latest health ordeal and make us feel very comfortable. All of the staff are very friendly and make us feel welcome.

My cat had to be put to sleep a week ago and I was devastated, the staff were amazing and very compassionate. I received a card personally signed by all the staff and a poem with bandits footprint on it. So very nice of them and it meant so much to me. Thank you all so much for your care and concern for all our best friends.

We have been taking our dog to Best Friends for about 4 years now and we could not be happier with the professional care we have received. Their genuine concern and advice have been invaluable. Jake, our dog, has always been kept up to date with all the necessary shots, oral health and useful health recommendations. The vet and staff there are great, informed and go the extra mile to make us and Jake feel comfortable. Thanks, we would recommend Best Friends to our family and friends.

NEVER EVER take your pet to Best Friends Animal Hospital on kenaston Blvd. They falsely wrote my dog had threw up twice on his medical report when he had never once threw up. The first time my dog had ever puked was 3 weeks after that vet visit and I got a call from my pet insurance company telling me that was noted on my dogs file when I came in for his first set of shots. I've emailed and called the vet and they will not doing anything to resolve there error and swear up and down that I'm a lyer. The owner was extremely rude to talk to and argued with me the entire time and now I permenantly have false information on my dogs medical file.
I have also filed a complaint to the veterinary board of mb and BBB

Great staff very caring and compassionate. I take my dogs here and they love it. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and recommend treatments that are in the best interest of my pet. They are not the cheapest but very comparable to other animal hospitals, the way I look at it I dont want cheap I want my furry family members to get what they need with no corners cut.

No updates for regular patients on move or letting them know when appts are needed? I loved going here but my dog is my life and I keep all his shots and paperwork organized on my end. There's something not right about this place. My cat was diagnosed by another vet as having oral cancer. This animal hospital is ok, but in the 4 years that I have been taking my dog here there has been a complete turnover of all the vets. The staff care about animals but a little more flexibility, compassion, and common sense in enforcing their rules would be helpful. I called the hospital the last week of April 2017 and indicated I would be picking up medication (for prevention for mosquito and tick diseases). Dr Drain has taken great care of our French bulldog Wally and she has given us excellent advice throughout his life that has made things so much better for him. Great staff very caring and compassionate. I take my dogs here and they love it. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and recommend treatments that are in the best interest of my pet.
