I've been taking my pets to Dakota Vet Clinic for almost 18 years. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, they treat your pets like family, and they don't try to get you to add extra unnecessary procedures your pet doesn't need. You can see the same vet each time so you and your pet can develop a relationship with him or her, and they are very good at explaining everything that's going on and needs to be done.

Not very happy with service. First, they send my dog’s insurance to the wrong company. I knew this because I got a letter from the insurance company saying they didn’t find a policy under my name. I called the clinic to let them know about this and was told, they will re-submit the form to the right company. A few weeks into my vacation, thought I’d follow-up. Emailed them and nothing was done. Was advised I have to fill out the form and send it to them and they will submit it to the insurance company. I don’t think I’ll be doing that! I should have just done it myself if I know their service would be this bad! It was my first time time doing this and thought that it’s cool the they submit claims directly for their customers.

Our Brie has been a regular visitor over her 15 years at the Dakota Veterinary Hospital and I have never been disappointed with the high calibre treatment or care provided by all the staff. They're friendly, immensely competent and their love for animals is clearly evident from the moment you walk through the door. What more could you ask?
Brie has always has been happy with her treatment and care (as have I) and she's reached the a ripe old age 15 years as spry and full of life as ever. Best endorsement I can think of.... :-)

I brought my chow chow here for a heartworm test and pills. The staff were very friendly. They brought water into the examination room for my dog upon request. The technician was super efficient in taking blood, she did it in record time. Usually with my chows in the past they would have to shave a spot to find a vein but not so this time. Everyone was so nice even though Tigerlily likes to make herself heard! ;)
Dr. Vonderbank is my vet at Dakota. I have brought my chows to her for many years. She has always given them exceptional care. One example is that she diagnosed and treated a condition that was difficult to detect, saving my dog's life. I am very grateful to be able to bring my present chow to see her at Dakota!

Dr Bartley is the best vet in the city, I'm convinced. I have a hundred pound rescue who is terrified of the vet, and can be dangerous when worked up. Dr Bartley and her team always go above and beyond to get us in and out quickly, safely, and with the least trauma possible for our dog. They clearly care so deeply for every pet and person who comes through their doors. I'd happily pay through the nose for that kind of care, but it's also shockingly affordable. I'll never leave, there's no one else I would trust with her care.

You guys looked after my cat Jack for the whole 18 years of his life. Trips to the vet were never his favorite, but you always did what you could to put him and us at ease. When his time came to leave us in November of 2012, you were so caring and understanding. You showed great patience and support with us during that time of grief. I'm so thankful that my baby's last moments were of love and comfort and that he passed peacefully thanks to you. His loss is a whole that I will never be able to fill, but I'm so thankful for all the work you did for him and all the work you continue to do for other fur babies and their families. Dr Bartley is the best vet in the city, I'm convinced. I have a hundred pound rescue who is terrified of the vet, and can be dangerous when worked up. Dr Bartley and her team always go above and beyond to get us in and out quickly, safely, and with the least trauma possible for our dog. They clearly care so deeply for every pet and person who comes through their doors. I'd happily pay through the nose for that kind of care, but it's also shockingly affordable. I'll never leave, there's no one else I would trust with her care.

This veterinary clinic is my favourite in the city. The head veterinarian is amazing and I cannot say enough good things about her. The staff and technicians are well educated and very knowledgeable along with friendly and caring. We have been taking our pets here for over 10 years and have no plans on changing that.

You guys looked after my cat Jack for the whole 18 years of his life. Trips to the vet were never his favorite, but you always did what you could to put him and us at ease. When his time came to leave us in November of 2012, you were so caring and understanding. You showed great patience and support with us during that time of grief. I'm so thankful that my baby's last moments were of love and comfort and that he passed peacefully thanks to you. His loss is a whole that I will never be able to fill, but I'm so thankful for all the work you did for him and all the work you continue to do for other fur babies and their families.
