The Dr’s and staff at Fort Gary have been the care giver for my dogs for many years now. About 5 years ago one of my guys was very ill with Cancer. When we reached the point of putting him down they were all so caring and supportive.
I still have 2 dogs that I know are in good hands.
I trust they always give me good advise and would recommend them without hesitation.

We have been going to this vet pretty much since they first opened. They have seen most of our pets over the years, from first checkups to exams on our rescues, to kindly and professionally assisting us when one of our beloved pets passed on. I cannot say anything bad about them, they are wonderful people first and actually listen to you and give a thorough check up before any diagnosis. If you are looking for an animal hospital that does all the little things, like calling to see how the pets are doing and sending pet birthday cards while maintaining the utmost professionalism this is the place for your pet and you.

I went to Fort Garry Veterinary for a second opinion on the condition of my dog Bailey. Unfortunately they confirmed what I already knew (but hoped I was wrong) and that Bailey was not going to get better. They were very forthcoming with information and compassion. They were supportive of the decision that had to be made. As my daughter told me Bailey is in "doggy heaven" and I appreciated their support, assistance and compassion.

My dog has always received great care here. The staff has never talked down to me, assuming I know nothing, or tried to puff up an explanation with unnecessary jargon. I've never felt pressured to pay for treatment or medicine my dog didn't need.
I think my dog likes it at FGVH, too; every time we drive by on Pembina, she gets very excited and her tail almost wags right off her rear end! Considering she's had an eye surgery and lots of vaccinations and still loves going back...pretty high praise from the canine client who would know best.

By far the best veterinary clinic in Winnipeg. All the Vets and staff are so polite, helpful, compassionate and they will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I would like to specifically like to thank Trish who works at this clinic. She is the most hard working, kind person I could ever want looking after my dog. (Ace) She took time out of her day to take a picture of herself next to Ace and sent it to me, because I was at home worrying about his well being. She took a lot of worrying off of my mind knowing she is taking good care of my dog while he was staying there for a few days. You can really tell she loves her job and loves animals and she will treat any of them like they are her own. I am so thankful to have such an amazing person looking after my dog. You've made a heart wrenching situation into a bearable, calm situation. I will never be able to thank you and the rest of the staff enough!

I booked an appointment for my 'Spoo on a recommendation by a friend, but also because it was close to where I live. When I brought 'Spoo in, both the veterinary assistants and the Veterinarians were prompt and professional in their service, and all of them took excellent care of my boy when he had an extended stay after being diagnosed with Renal Failure. They explained everything clearly, step-by-step, and made sure that we understood what was going on before they did anything. They also gave us all the information we needed to make the best decision for 'Spoo's care. Although I ended up having to send my little fuzzy boy across the Rainbow Bridge, the staff here were absolutely excellent about their care and attention for him and us. They were sensitive, compassionate and amazingly patient. Thank you very much for making a very tough decision a little easier, and I am glad you got to know my quirky guy.

When I moved to Winnipeg I took my cat here and instantly knew I had found the best vet Tabby had ever had. The staff is fantastic, kind and compassionate. They truly care for your fur baby as if it was their own. When Tabby met the end of her long and happy life they were just as caring as they always have been and I can't express how grateful I am for that. I have just adopted a new dog and didn't hesitate to take him here...excellent place, I will always recommend pet parents to go here for their pets needs!

Tests would cost us a fortune and there were never any clear answers until it was too late and we got one last heavy bill from the clinic. Friendly place but the staff were NOT knowledgeable.

Staff is great. Very friendly and they always remember our animals names. Recently stopped by to have both dogs donate blood. They both did great and we'll definitely be back.

Super friendly and caring staff. You can tell they are all pet lovers and not just there for a paycheck. We just had our kitten spayed there and they made sure to call us as soon as it was done to let us know everything went well which was a huge sigh of relief for me and my wife.

Friendly staff! I needed to get in right away to have my cat looked at and I was able to get in the evening I called! They took care of the problem quickly and my fuzzy has been doing very well! They called a few days later to see how he was and scheduled a free follow up to check his weight. Very satisfied.

By far the best veterinary clinic in Winnipeg. All the Vets and staff are so polite, helpful, compassionate and they will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I would like to specifically like to thank Trish who works at this clinic. She is the most hard working, kind person I could ever want looking after my dog. (Ace) She took time out of her day to take a picture of herself next to Ace and sent it to me, because I was at home worrying about his well being. She took a lot of worrying off of my mind knowing she is taking good care of my dog while he was staying there for a few days. You can really tell she loves her job and loves animals and she will treat any of them like they are her own. I am so thankful to have such an amazing person looking after my dog. You've made a heart wrenching situation into a bearable, calm situation. I will never be able to thank you and the rest of the staff enough!

I booked an appointment for my 'Spoo on a recommendation by a friend, but also because it was close to where I live. When I brought 'Spoo in, both the veterinary assistants and the Veterinarians were prompt and professional in their service, and all of them took excellent care of my boy when he had an extended stay after being diagnosed with Renal Failure. They explained everything clearly, step-by-step, and made sure that we understood what was going on before they did anything. They also gave us all the information we needed to make the best decision for 'Spoo's care. Although I ended up having to send my little fuzzy boy across the Rainbow Bridge, the staff here were absolutely excellent about their care and attention for him and us. They were sensitive, compassionate and amazingly patient. Thank you very much for making a very tough decision a little easier, and I am glad you got to know my quirky guy.

When I moved to Winnipeg I took my cat here and instantly knew I had found the best vet Tabby had ever had. The staff is fantastic, kind and compassionate. They truly care for your fur baby as if it was their own. When Tabby met the end of her long and happy life they were just as caring as they always have been and I can't express how grateful I am for that. I have just adopted a new dog and didn't hesitate to take him here...excellent place, I will always recommend pet parents to go here for their pets needs!

Not a very good veterinary clinic. Our dog passed away from diabetes. She was sick for many months and we brought her to the vet many times. Tests would cost us a fortune and there were never any clear answers until it was too late and we got one last heavy bill from the clinic. Friendly place but the staff were NOT knowledgeable.
