I've taken my dog here twice now for medical emergencies when our usual vet has no appointments. We've met with a different vet each time and they've both been wonderful. They have listened to each of our concerns, given good feedback as well as lay our options out and explained each one. Everyone from the front desk staff to the techs and doctors are all super friendly, welcoming, and caring. They've even called for follow up on my dogs injury to see how he's doing.

They will gouge you - charging very high rates (they even charge for the 'privilege' of writing a prescription), and they didn't help my pet - he died (after paying out thousands of dollars) and when I complained I got screamed at by the vet in charge. I now bring my pets to Transcona Veterinary Hospital - WAY better, they are wonderful and charge reasonable rates

My son brought in his dog that was attacked by another dog on Friday evening.
The McLeod Vet team was absolutely amazing. They were friendly and straight forward with all information regarding the injuries and procedures involved with treatment. They also provided a very reasonable quote.
They were understanding and helpful, willing to answer any and all questions he had.
My son never felt rushed (even though it was well past closing to complete treatment).
He could not say enough good things about the staff, they were wonderful, and accommodating no matter what hour it was. Thank you so much!

They were understanding and helpful, willing to answer any and all questions he had.My son never felt rushed (even though it was well past closing to complete treatment). I take my dog (Dr Allison Bowles) and my kitten (Dr. Jason Kellsey) to McLeod Vet Hospital. My dog is a young toy poodle and is a very shy dog. Super hesitant of new people and places. But The staff and the doctors are so understanding and treat her accordingly and yet so affectionately. I simply love both the doctors I see. I just got a new kitten 7 weeks old. I was really worried for his visit to the vet/outside home. But the doctors and staff were simple amazing. He wasn't scared at all. He got his first shot and yet licking and playing with me after.. I would not take my pets anywhere else.. I love love this place..

This clinic provides exceptional service. We had to put our cat down and the vet we see, Dr. Kelsey is so compassionate, honest, caring and professional. He never made us feel bad about having to put our cat down. The staff does everything they can to make sure your pet isn't in pain and they go above and beyond anything I've ever seen in other vet clinics. When our cat died, they sent us flowers and a card. They make sure that they take care of everyone there. I highly recommend and would never take my pet any where else.

Wonderful place for you animal.Since I adopted my Shellie, a Sheltie. I have gone to this vet hospital and I'm not sorry. They are dedicated to make sure your pet is healthy and answer all your questions. They might be slightly more expensive then some other places where I wouldn't even bring a mouse to be taken care of, but it's all Worth it.I strongly recommend this place.

Yesterday, my 90 yr-old Mom said it was the "Best Day of her Life". I returned her 15 yr-old cat, Angel, to her. McLeod Veterinary did laser surgery and removed cancer from Angel's ear and nose the previous day. My mom lives 3 hrs from Winnipeg and I had taken Angel to her closest vet in Minnedosa. She could not do laser surgery but suggested taking pictures and finding someone where we live. We took photos, returned home and found McLeod. We sent over the photos and Dr. Newfield agreed to take the case. He saved Angel's life and I think he saved my Mom's too. Angel and Mom need each other. McLeod Veterinary did a fantastic job and I cannot find enough words to say Thank You.

But The staff and the doctors are so understanding and treat her accordingly and yet so affectionately. I simply love both the doctors I see. I just got a new kitten 7 weeks old. I was really worried for his visit to the vet/outside home. But the doctors and staff were simple amazing. He wasn't scared at all. He got his first shot and yet licking and playing with me after.. I would not take my pets anywhere else.. I love love this place..

Clean office, friendly and helpful staff, modern equipment and systems, and the doctors take the time to explain things in detail. Can't think of anything that they could improve! Keep up the great work.

This clinic provides exceptional service. We had to put our cat down and the vet we see, Dr. Kelsey is so compassionate, honest, caring and professional. He never made us feel bad about having to put our cat down. The staff does everything they can to make sure your pet isn't in pain and they go above and beyond anything I've ever seen in other vet clinics. When our cat died, they sent us flowers and a card. They make sure that they take care of everyone there. I highly recommend and would never take my pet any where else.

Wonderful place for you animal.Since I adopted my Shellie, a Sheltie. I have gone to this vet hospital and I'm not sorry. They are dedicated to make sure your pet is healthy and answer all your questions. They might be slightly more expensive then some other places where I wouldn't even bring a mouse to be taken care of, but it's all Worth it.I strongly recommend this place.

Yesterday, my 90 yr-old Mom said it was the "Best Day of her Life". I returned her 15 yr-old cat, Angel, to her. McLeod Veterinary did laser surgery and removed cancer from Angel's ear and nose the previous day. My mom lives 3 hrs from Winnipeg and I had taken Angel to her closest vet in Minnedosa. She could not do laser surgery but suggested taking pictures and finding someone where we live. We took photos, returned home and found McLeod. We sent over the photos and Dr. Newfield agreed to take the case. He saved Angel's life and I think he saved my Mom's too. Angel and Mom need each other. McLeod Veterinary did a fantastic job and I cannot find enough words to say Thank You.
