I have been bringing all my fur babies to the Sherbrook Animal Hospital for the past twenty years. I just wish family doctors and their staff would treat me as well as my fur babies are treated at the Sherbrook Animal Hospital. The vet and his staff are wonderful, caring, knowledgeable. They not only know my dogs’ names but they know mine also. They practice true family medicine.

A few weeks later kittens popped out so obviously doc was hella wrong and my initial judgemental impression of him was quite accurate. If I could rate zero stars I would.

My family has been taking our pets to Sherbrook Animal Hospital since our first dog, Boots, in the '60s. I later started taking my own pets there, and wouldn't go anywhere else. While the veterinarians and staff have changed over the years, they have a tradition of care and tenderness that is constant. Dr Hirkewal and his staff are kind, respectful, and considerate of the feelings of their patients' families as well as their patients. I recommend this clinic to everyone who is looking for a clinic for their pets: you can trust this one.

Got our male cat neutered here. The staff were friendly and kind. They seem to have done a good job, so far (day 2) there haven't been any issues.
Their Wednesday Special for fixing your cat is a pretty good deal. You get the procedure, first vaccinations, tattoo, and Elizabeth Collar all for $97 for male cats. I believe female cats are around $130.
I would definitely recommend this animal hospital.

The receptionist, Sherry, was very unprofessional. She had an attitude the first time I called in and tried to upsell more than what I had asked for. I let it slide the first time, just because everyone has their own bad days. But when I phoned in later on in the week to reschedule my appointment, she was absolutely rude!!! Because of the poor customer service I've experienced, I will be finding an alternate vet for my dog.
I have worked as a receptionist before and having excellent communication skills on the phone and in person is definitely key. You are the first person customers associate with and you always have to be at your best to make a good impression for the place you work for.
Sherry definitely did not do a good job.

I took my cat, Moose in to be checked out recently as he was sick. It was our first time here and I was surprised at how friendly all the staff is! I was sort of expecting that the doctor and assistant (nurse?) would just grab him and start doing what they do. But they greeted him so nicely and paid him compliments! We ended up having to take him back in a few days later and we needed to collect a urine sample to take in. Turns out my boy has some crystals in his urine. The doctor let me know he will be on a new diet and I just picked up his new food today. So within the past couple of weeks I have been in there four times and called in a couple times. I feel like they really go above and beyond to make sure all of your questions are answered and that you feel good about the treatment of your fur baby. I am so impressed and wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!

Everyone here is caring, empathetic and I have had nothing but positive experiences every time I have been. Even during times that were extremely hard such as having my kitty put to sleep :( A wonderful team here.

First time at this animal hospital, went with the recommendation of a close friend, and I left extremely happy. They not only worked with my budget to help my fur baby out, they went beyond that to give her the utmost care. I will continue to visit this location for all my kitties needs. Thank you for the kindness, gentle and calming atmosphere you gave to help ease my cats stress.

I took my cat, Moose in to be checked out recently as he was sick. It was our first time here and I was surprised at how friendly all the staff is! I was sort of expecting that the doctor and assistant (nurse?) would just grab him and start doing what they do. But they greeted him so nicely and paid him compliments! We ended up having to take him back in a few days later and we needed to collect a urine sample to take in. Turns out my boy has some crystals in his urine. The doctor let me know he will be on a new diet and I just picked up his new food today. So within the past couple of weeks I have been in there four times and called in a couple times. I feel like they really go above and beyond to make sure all of your questions are answered and that you feel good about the treatment of your fur baby. I am so impressed and wouldn't take my pets anywhere else!

I'll never take another animal here again. There isn't enough room to explain the horrors that my family has been through because of this place.

I'm very grateful for the great care that is given to my 2 cats and pug from them .. They are caring people there, they explain things clearly for you, and they treat your pet as if it's their own!! ....

The staff is wonderful there, the girls are friendly, caring, and at times go beyond what is expected !! .. I was going to a different vet before but now that I've gone back there I don't feel a need to keep looking for a vet that I trust with my fur babies!! .. I thank everyone there for making me feel comfortable with you handling my pets and for being so understanding!!

I have taken my cats to Sherbrook Animal Hospital for the last 2 years and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else but this place to anyone who needed to take their pet somewhere to be taken care of.

I have taken my cats to Sherbrook Animal Hospital for the last 2 years and I wouldn't recommend anywhere else but this place to anyone who needed to take their pet somewhere to be taken care of.
Everyone here is caring, empathetic and I have had nothing but positive experiences every time I have been. Even during times that were extremely hard such as having my kitty put to sleep :( A wonderful team here.
