I do not recommend this veterinary clinic, to anyone, stay far away! There was a time in history it use to be good, though now it is all about the money. They will soak you for unnecessary things, x-rays, ultra sound, barium, and expect a normal bill to be between $400-600. They don't know their breeds, and I usually do all of the research before going into see them. I was soaked over $600 for a simple urine pancreatic test. if your an elite, and like to throw your money away go for it. If you have to make a payment option with these guys, good luck with that, they are not compassionate at all. After having 2 cancer operations on my dog, because they didn't do the job right the first time to get all of the cancer out, what more can I say. If you need medication then your pets have to be brought in, need I say more about the money? No need for an appointment, you can walk in the same day, and see a vet. This is how desperate they are. I have tried to post a single star on google and sign in that way, though it doesn't accept ratings, I wonder what the BBB has on their record, lol. I have seen animal ark, and they are awesome, if your looking for house visits.

Took our two dogs in as I’d gotten a reminder letter to come in and get their heart worm testing and pills. Also had to pick up some allergy meds (they’re $300 which I knew), and a couple other annual...
Took our two dogs in as I’d gotten a reminder letter to come in and get their heart worm testing and pills. Also had to pick up some allergy meds (they’re $300 which I knew), and a couple other annual shots (for flea and parvo)... lastly got one of the dogs nails clipped. Total bill = over $1,150. I think that’s absurd, but you can be the judge as that’s exactly what happened.

Took my little chihuahua mix in for a problem with his eye. We were able to get in the same day I called. We saw Dr Millar and he was thorough, informative and was great with my little dog. He said that if there are further concerns he would consult with Dr. K, who specializes in Ophthalmology.
They said they would call to follow up but they never did. It's fine, but it would have been nice if they did since they said they would.
We would go back to this vet.

I take my Cane Corso here to see Dr. K. The staff here are super friendly and great with my dog. My dog absolutely loves coming here and does not put up a fuss. They're always able to accommodate us for a quick appointment and are great with keeping time. I would strongly recommend anyone that has a need for a vet to come here at the Transcona Veterinary Hospital.. and I would know I drive about 40 minutes to take my dog here.

Good service. Wait was a little long when I was taken in for appointment. Other than that, staff was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. After the procedure for my kitty, I was shown what had been done and even shared photos of the operation. Price for a simple removal of dead skin and remedy of a abscess as well as stitching up the wound costed around 500$.

Love Transcona Vet! I've brought my new puppy in twice for her vaccinations and the staff has been outstanding. Dr. Konarzewski is so great with my puppy and always brings her a treat when he comes out to bring us to the room, is calm and efficient, and explains things in an understandable way. My sister has been bringing her dog here for quite some time also-after 2 failed knee surgeries on her lab, she found Dr. Moffatt who performed TPLO surgery and resolved her dog's lameness. He used to be completely 3-legged and refused to play because of his pain, but now he can run and swim and act like a normal dog again.This is a wonderful practice with caring and knowledgeable staff, I highly recommend this office :-)

My dog had a TPLO surgery done here by Dr. Skakun. She was polite, friendly and professional. We were in the process of moving provinces and they accommodated us with our timeline with the surgery date. They even kept our dog an extra night at no charge just to accommodate our crazy schedules. They accommodated us yet again with an earlier than normal follow up appointment and made sure to give us all the surgery documentation and DVD to take with us. I would recommend Dr. Skakun for this surgery.I will however note that the staff needs to work in their telephone etiquette. Always nice when you walk in the door and face to face, on more than one occasion I noticed they were quite short and rude over the phone. Even on 15/07/27 I called and politely requested a way that I could send Dr. Skakun a thank you email as we shot a 30sec video we wanted to send her and the clinic to show our appreciation with our dogs recovery. The lady was short, unhelpful and came across as rude as she slightly laughed while she said "I'm sorry, I won't give out anyone's personal email addresses to you." I repeated politely it was to send a thank you and appreciation to Dr. Skakun and the staff, and she just said "sorry, you'll just have to send a letter I guess" and hung up the phone. Not the reply one expects from that situation, considering we did choose that clinic to spend our $3000 for the surgery.

I do not recommend this veterinary clinic, to anyone, stay far away! There was a time in history it use to be good, though now it is all about the money. They will soak you for unnecessary things, x-rays, ultra sound, barium, and expect a normal bill to be between $400-600. They don't know their breeds, and I usually do all of the research before going into see them. I think that’s absurd, but you can be the judge as that’s exactly what happened.

Dr. Konarzewski is so great with my puppy and always brings her a treat when he comes out to bring us to the room, is calm and efficient, and explains things in an understandable way.
